Has The First Seal Been Opened?

I came across an interesting commentary item regarding the identity of the rider on the white horse who appears after the first of the seven seals is to opened by Christ.  A certain commentator who calls himself Monkey Werx believes that the first seal has already been opened, and that Donald Trump happens to be this man whom the rider on the white horse represents.

The basis for his reasoning is that, according to scripture, that authority is given to this figure to go out to conquer.  He has a bow but no arrows, which means he is able to subdue nations without firing a shot.

He also bases this belief on the fact that the President of the United States is the most powerful man on the face of the earth simply because he is head over the most dominant and powerful nation in the world.

And while it is true that Trump has succeeded in securing a lot of peace and trade deals with many nations without bloodshed, and while it is undeniable that America has enjoyed the status of being the most powerful nation on the earth in many respects, Trump never sought to subjugate any nations to American rule or infringe upon their sovereignty.  Instead, he sought agreements that would somehow be mutually beneficial to all nations involved.  He also sought to bring an end to all wars he deemed unnecessary.

But now that Trump is no longer in office, there is no telling what is to become of all the peace and trade agreements that were made.  As Monkey Werx pointed out, in order for all the peace and trade agreements to be secured, Trump would have to remain in office.  This presently is no longer the case.

It must also be noted that the rider on the white horse will seek to conquer without war.  To conquer means to subjugate and to dominate.  Trump never sought to dominate anyone or any nation.  He never did seek to establish a global empire.  He certainly never established the coming one world government foretold in scripture; the structure of which is very specific.

Every nation in the world continued to still be an independent and sovereign entity under Trump.

The seven seals have been associated with the end times; specifically with the coming Tribulation that is foretold, but they have been very difficult to place in terms of the order of events.

The tribulation is believed to begin with the opening of the seals, succeeded by the blowing of the Trumpets, a period of intense persecution of the saints by the Anti-Christ, and then the bowls of wrath; the Tribulation finally being brought to an end by the return of Christ.

If the seals are to come before the divine judgments, then that would mean that the Tribulation would have to last longer than seven years since the events represented by the four horsemen of the apocalypse, as they are called, would have to have time to play out, followed by a period of martyrdom of saints before the direct judgment of God upon the entire world could actually begin.

But if, as is commonly believed, that the Tribulation is to be roughly seven years, then the seals would have to be opened roughly around the same time that the judgments are being poured out which would mean that the seals are not a series of events to take place but rather a summary of events to take place into which other prophecies regarding the Tribulation go into greater detail.

But now going back to the first seal:  In order for Trump to be the rider on the white horse, not only would he have to succeed at making peace and trade deals without bloodshed he would also have to succeed at doing the following, he, through peace, would have to establish a world empire to which all other nations would be made subject and it would have to be made secure and in order for the newly formed world empire to be secure, he would have to remain in power.  He is no longer presently in power and even when he was in power, it was never his expressed intent to create a world empire to begin with.

What also seems to be out of character for Trump would be to create a false peace, but this exactly what the Anti-Christ will do when he arises to power.  As it is written “by peace he shall destroy many,” (Dan. 8:25) once again also saying, that they shall declare “Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them…and they shall not escape.” (1 Thess. 5:3) For the prophet Daniel also says that this so-called man of peace will confirm a covenant with many for one week (seven years) but in the middle of that week (three and a half years) he shall break that covenant (Dan. 9:25).

Now does this so-called man of peace sound like Trump to any of you?  When has Trump ever made a trade deal or a peace deal with any nation that he himself never intended to keep?  When has he ever lulled a nation into a false sense of security for the purpose of destroying them?

If he was ever going to break any treaties or peace deals, the time for him to do so has come and gone.  We are well past the three and a half year mark.

And if Trump is supposed to be the rider on the white horse, then who is supposed to be the rider on the red horse who takes peace away from the earth?  Something Monkey Werx in his piece never mentioned.

One thing to be mentioned to his credit, however, is his explanation regarding the horse representing famine and possible economic collapse wherein the scripture says, “hurt not the oil or the wine” (Rev. 6:6) when that horseman comes upon the scene.

He states that the oil represents the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in the saints and the wine being the blood of Christ which covers all who have placed their trust in Him and though I differ from him on the timing in our history as to when the seals are supposed to be opened and who and what they represent, that the oil and wine may very well represent the saints is certainly not an unreasonable interpretation.

As he has well noted, the people of God are not subjected to His wrath (1 Thess. 5:9) or judgments and therefore will not be affected by them as the wicked and unrepentant will be.  It could also explain why hell follows after death when the fourth seal is opened.  A fourth of earth’s population at this time succumbs to famine, war, pestilence, and the beasts of the earth; (Rev. 6:8) apparently no saints being among the dead during this time since it is hell which follows after death.

If none of God’s people during the tribulation are affected by the four seal judgments or for the most part, the Trumpet judgments, it would not be out of the realm of possibility that blame could be cast upon the saints for the cataclysms affecting the world during this time which could very well have a hand in contributing to the intense persecution and martyrdom they will endure during the Tribulation, especially during the second half.

Afterall who better to blame for a series of catastrophic events except those who appear unaffected by them, even if they are not the cause?  By killing as many of God’s people as they possibly can during the second half of the tribulation, the wicked and unrepentant are perhaps thinking that the cataclysms may cease, when in reality, they will only get worse with the vial judgments which will prove to be even worse than the previous judgments and will be poured out to avenge the blood of the saints shed upon the earth. (Rev. 16:3-6)

But we need not endure that coming darkness for the God in Heaven who has declared that it must come due to man’s increasing wickedness has also promised a way out for any willing to turn away from those things that are bringing judgment upon the earth. (Rev. 3:10)

When man was first created, he was given a choice between life and death, good and evil, light and darkness.  Scripture says that it came in the form of two trees that the Lord God had place in the midst of a certain garden; the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  The first man, Adam and his wife Eve, from whom all of mankind are descended, were allowed to eat from the fruit of any tree except one:  The tree of the knowledge of good and evil, being warned that in the day that they ate of it, they would surely die. (Gen. 2:16-17)

But when they ate of that tree, evil entered into the world; The evil began when sin entered into them, changing their inward person from purity to corruption and as a consequence, they were subject to death and sin, having been passed down to all of mankind from Adam, has caused all to die (Rom. 5:12, 6:23) when beforehand we were designed to be immortal, but worse yet, the perfect harmony that we had with our Maker and nature itself was disrupted due to that one act of disobedience at the behest of an evil power who came as a tempter, liar, and deceiver, who had tried to usurp the throne of Heaven and make himself equal with the Maker (Is. 14:4-21,   Ezek. 28:12-19) but was cast from his position and though he failed to take Heaven itself, he succeeded in taking the earth when he tempted Eve to eat of that forbidden fruit (Gen. 3) hence the reason why he has claimed the kingdoms of this present world to be his own (Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:5-6) but the deadly and destructive effects of sin did not just stop with man, but all of creation has been subjected to its curse. (Rom. 8:19-22)

Sin taints, perverts, corrupts, and distorts more than we can comprehend and influences not just our actions and words, but the very thoughts of our minds and the motives and intents of our own hearts.  It is ever present in us, causing us to be estranged and alienated from our Maker.  It is everything that is contrary to the desire and design of our Lord.

Nothing done of ourselves can remove its stain from our very souls and therefore, those who remain in their sins are subjected to everlasting darkness and torment as punishment for their sins and there is not one man born into the world who is without sin, for as it is written, “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,” (Rom. 3:23) being that standard of moral perfection which requires sinlessness and inasmuch as we may attempt to do that which is good and pleasing in the sight of our Maker, sin, being always present in us and with us, always cancels out our own goodness, but yet God in His goodness has offered us redemption made possible in Christ Jesus who came into this world to die for our sins and then was raised from the dead so that anyone believing on Him would not face the eternal damnation to which they would otherwise be subject, but would enter into salvation, be reconciled to their Maker, and be liberated from the bondages of death.

It was on the cross that both the demanded penalty for sin and mercy were satisfied and it was by the resurrection of our Savior that we are justified in Him and His triumph over death itself has made way for the eventual liberation of our bodies from death as well (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) and finally, the delivering of creation itself from the curse by way of a new heaven and a new earth in which dwells no death, no sin, no evil, suffering, grief, sorrow, pain, or hardship of any kind (Rev. 21-22) for all of those things to which we are presently subject will pass away with this present world.

No longer do the redeemed in Christ seek to earn their way into Heaven by the keeping of laws and precepts that they in their sinful state could never keep, but instead keep the laws and precepts of our Maker out of gratitude and appreciation for the love, mercy, and redemption received and out of a desire to please and honor Him in everything that they do.

The more who embrace the saving Gospel of our Lord and Savior, the less power the spirit behind the coming New World Order will have but yet his power and influence grow when the number of them who have no love of the truth embrace lies, sin, evil, and darkness instead of goodness, truth, light, and holiness and it is by the rejection of truth that the world is set to be subject to a strong delusion, as it is written, that they may believe a lie (2 Thess. 2:11) to their very destruction and to the damnation of their very soul.

That is why today is the day of repentance.  Today is the day of deliverance from the wrath to come.  Today is the day of deliverance from darkest time the world has yet to face.  Today is the day to call upon the name of the Lord to be saved before it is too late.

If you do not know Jesus but would like to call upon Him for the forgiveness of sins and are not sure what to pray or ask, here is an example of a prayer that may be said:

"Lord Jesus I need you.

I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of God
and that my goodness falls short
of His standard of Moral perfection.

Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.

Amen."

Know that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.

  1. Have you considered the fact that the seven year tribulation is actually a false doctrine? False prophets abound, as was foretold. Scripture is very clear, if one is reading from a translation derived from the Textus Receptus rather than one of the new blasphemous translations. (Westcott & Hort were occultists!)

Trump, of course, was a good little puppet, as is Biden. But he is most certainly not the rider.

We are running a marathon, not a sprint. I've never visited this blog before, but hopefully you are aware that nearly everything that is taught in "church" is easily classified as false doctrine. The most dangerous place for a true follower of Yeshua today is in "the church," one of Satan's greatest accomplishments.

This is clearly evidenced by the fact that nearly all churches closed down last year, and almost all are encouraging members to wear masks. The Most High plainly tells us to approach Him with faces unveiled!

Alas, few have eyes to see and ears to hear...

    Blessings!

    1. I have found nothing in scripture to suggest that the seven year tribulation is a false doctrine but instead have found everything to suggest that there is such a time that has yet to take place upon the earth (Dan. 9:27) Furthermore, even Jesus declared a time to come upon the earth so terrible that the duration thereof would have to be cut short in order to prevent all life from perishing. (Mt. 24:22)

Even Bible translations derived from the Textus Receptus such as the KJV and Geneva Bibles affirm that there will be such a time as well.

That Biden has been a puppet is without dispute. He clearly is not in control of the executive branch no matter how often he may be made to appear to but as for Trump, he has been far from being anyone's puppet, but if he is, then whose puppet is he?

While I do agree that many false prophets, false Messiahs, and false teachers abound as was foretold in scripture (a sign of the last days), and that the church has been plague with various false doctrines, I find it very troubling that you would call the Church an accomplishment of Satan when scripture clearly states that Christ Himself is the builder of the Church.
