Former
primary GOP candidate William Braddock was caught on tape discussing what
sounded like an
assassination against one of his primary opponents: MAGA backed Anna Paulina Luna of the 13th
district of Florida. [1]
After
the audio recording of the plot was made public, Braddock dropped out of the
race. He should have been arrested. Why he wasn’t arrested, no one knows, but it
seems that efforts to protect our standard bearers from harm will need to be
intensified.
Granted
that we should give the proper authorities a chance to do their job, but so
far, it doesn’t appear that they are.
Otherwise, Braddock would be in jail and along with anyone else involved
in this alleged plot.
Not
only are we finding ourselves being placed in a position to do what our law
enforcement, in many cases, should be doing, but either are unable or are
unwilling to do, but might we also find ourselves having to provide the
security and protection for our standard bearers that the proper authorities
should be providing but are not?
Plotting
any kind of harm, including the demise of your political opponent in a free
Democratic Republic is clearly unacceptable, but sadly happens and if we reach
a time when it does not appear that those governing authorities who are
supposed to be providing protection for our standard bearers, then we ourselves
are going to have to decide as to how we can go about providing the protection
that those authorities who should be providing that protection but are not.
This
is just one of many signs and indications of the increasingly volatile time in
which we live.
We
have been undergoing a spiritual and moral decline in our nation, our God-given
liberties are under constant attack, our economy has been weakened, our
currency is being devalued, and we are burdened with a tax system that places a
disproportionate tax burden on certain economic classes who in turn are forced
to pass that cost down to the lower economic classes in order to survive, thus in
the end trapping they, who might otherwise be able to climb up the economic
ladder, in their poverty.
We
are anywhere between 28 and 30 trillion dollars in debt, our academic
institutions and media have been poisoning the minds of the multitudes with
lies and against everything that is good and right; calling that which is good
to be evil and making that which is evil out to be good and teaching many to
hate their country rather than love their nation and seek its best interests.
Our
entertainment industry spews out ungodliness and depravity of the likes that we
have not seen, and by which the masses are influenced and inspired by role-models
of wickedness, and affirm the lies taught by the media and academic
institutions.
Our
governing authorities and institutions are becoming increasingly corrupt;
showing over time, less and less regard for the rule of law, seeking interests
that have nothing to do with the pubic interest placing many in a position
where they feel they have no other choice but to carry out the tasks and duties
that those earthly powers that have been set over them should be doing yet are
either unable or are unwilling to do.
Those
institutions once regarded as trustworthy and honorable have been infiltrated
by evil people who have turned them away from the good and noble purposes for
which they were established and have twisted them into instruments of wickedness.
Our
nation is in danger not just from enemies from without, but also from enemies
from within our borders and our partisan divide is ever deepening to a degree
that could potentially dissolve our nation and that partisan divide is so intense
that we now have political opponents plotting against each other’s lives as has
been the case with the expressed assassination plot by William Braddock against
Luna.
The
intensifying conflict within our nation is not racial, economic, or even political. It goes far deeper than that. It is a spiritual conflict from which those
divisions, conflicts, and wars made manifest arise, an age-long war between
good and evil, light and darkness that has ever raged over the souls of men and
in recent times has intensified all the more and to further highlight the
nature of this conflict, William Braddock has revealed himself to be either a
freemason or at least aligned with them in some way; [2] the freemasons being one of many secret
Satan-worshipping societies intent on imposing a New World Order on the world
and which will sadly come to pass according to scripture but which, also
according to scripture, will also be a short-lived kingdom.
There
is no neutral ground in this spiritual conflict. Every person must ultimately
make a choice as to whether to side with angels or with demons,
to
be on the side of God or Satan,
to
walk in truth or to abide in lies,
to
align with the light or the darkness,
to
take pleasure in righteousness or unrighteousness,
to
live in uprightness and holiness or in sin,
to
choose good or evil,
the
ways of life or the ways of death,
purity
or corruption,
holiness,
or unholiness,
to
place our faith in the God whose promises never fail or in the promises of lesser
powers who may never deliver on them,
to
stand upon the faultless authority of His instruction or the faulty instruction
of man,
to
walk in the perfect law of our Maker or in the burdensome laws of those earthly
powers ruled by the evil one,
To
fear man who can only destroy the body or God who is able to cast both body and
soul into Hell,
to
seek after and build up for ourselves those everlasting treasures that await those
of us who choose to be citizens and patriots to the Kingdom of Heaven or that
temporary wealth that can be lost to us, cannot follow us into the afterlife,
and which will pass away with this present world when it passes away to make
way for that better world to come to which we all should look,
to
live in obedience to God or in rebellion against Him,
redemption
or condemnation,
salvation
or damnation,
Heaven
or Hell.
Our
adversaries, both seen and unseen, are relentless in tempting us into wrong
things,
leading
many astray with cleverly devised lies and deceptions,
captivating
hearts and minds with alluring promises that they have either have no ability
or any intention of delivering on,
holding
captive as many souls as possible with the cares of this life, by blinding them
to the truth and knowledge of their Maker, hardening their hearts against His
love, mercy, and offer of redemption,
poisoning
their minds with their lies,
suppressing
anything challenging the falsehoods they spew forth and propagate through ridiculing,
shaming, and intimidating any into silence who might otherwise discredit their
falsehoods and open the eyes of those captive souls to the truth that sets free
and which liberates them from the bondages of darkness, despair, and even
damnation itself, and when the ridiculing and shaming are of no effect, varying
degrees of persecution and punishment are carried out against them and those
things they hold dear in a desperate attempt to discourage and demoralize them
from fighting that good and honorable fight, and what the forces of darkness
are unable to destroy from without, they will seek to destroy from within and
when they cannot tempt into bad behavior, they will divert and distract from that
which we should be setting our eyes upon and that is the Lord God who created
us and calls us out of the darkness of this world and that of our own
sinfulness and into His glorious light of redemption and transformation by
which is instilled in each and everyone of us purpose and meaning that cannot
be found in anything of this world of sin, evil, death, decay, misery, despair,
heartache, grief, sorrow, hardship, adversity, oppression, and darkness.
The
devices of our adversaries are many and we dare not be ignorant of them lest we
find ourselves ill prepared for their snares and attacks. Instead, we need to be well informed of their
strategies so that we may be better prepared to withstand and weather them and
to make ready against them every counter-attack to each attack of theirs. There have been and will continue to be
casualties on both sides and some of those casualties will include beloved
standard-bearers be they religious or political and when a standard bearer disgraces
themselves or is taken from us suddenly, it can have a very discouraging and demoralizing
effect if we allow it to be so because we so easily forget that standard
bearers are neither flawless nor will they remain with us forever and that they
are but instruments and servants of God raised up for our edification, inspiration,
deliverance, and to guide us through troubled times, and to set an example for
the rest of us to adopt and apply to ourselves.
Whenever
a standard bearer is taken from us or disgraces themselves, the enemy shouts
for joy and laughs with delight knowing that many who had placed their hopes in
that one who served as that standard bearer will feel defeated and demoralized;
taking out or discrediting persons of holding positions of influence and
leadership can sometimes be an effective tactic.
If
there is any prayer that I can offer up on behalf of those leaders and
potential leaders who have the best interests of this nation at heart and on
behalf of those figures of influence whom God has raised up, it is for their
protection and that they will remain true and faithful to the principles and values
they have been raised up to champion and to bring to the forefront.
But
what do we do when a standard bearer is taken from us or disgraces themselves?
Do
we just give up hope and concede defeat or do we find a way to carry on the
legacy that began with them, maintain the good things accomplished through
them, and build upon the good precedents that they have set?
If,
in the event a standard bearer is discredited or is taken from us, we allow
ourselves to be demoralized and discouraged from continuing to maintain their accomplishments
and from carrying on the work that they had begun, and from building upon the
precedents that they had set, then we will suffer defeat though it need not be.
But
if we will retain in ourselves an unwavering determination to carry on their legacy
and to build upon the good precedents that they have set forth, then we will
not be defeated and the enemy and when we do see a standard bearer taken or
discredited, any of us must be ready to answer the call to take up the standard
bearing position should that call come to us, just like, when a flag bearer falls
in battle, another is ready to take up that flag and carry it forth and in
doing so, we show ourselves victorious even in the midst of what may seem like
defeat and such victory is best realized when we go forth in the power and authority
of Almighty God who is able to grant victory over any foe and who is able to empower
those who will place their trust in Him, to overcome any obstacle, sustain them
in times of adversity, and deliver them from evil.
But
if we are to go forth in His power, then on His power we must rely and if we are
to stand upon His authority, then to His authority, above all earthly powers,
we must submit and that requires a willingness on our part to turn away from those
things displeasing in His sight and to do those things that honor and please
Him and are good and right in His eyes but it is not just an outward
performance or behavior but a transformation of the inward man; of the heart,
mind, and soul.
For
before we are able to fight the darkness from without, we must first deal with
the darkness that resides in each and everyone of us and which causes us to be
born alienated from our Maker and it has been so ever since the first man,
Adam, and the first woman, Eve from whom all of mankind descend, committed a
transgression that caused sin to enter into them at the behest of a fallen
angel, a cherub named Lucifer who in his pride tried to make himself equal to
God and as a consequence was cast from his position which was before the throne
of God (Is. 14:11-21, Ezek. 28:12-19) and then appeared to Eve as a serpent in
the garden, tempting her to eat fruit from a certain tree (Gen. 3:1-6) called
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; the very tree that God had told
them to not eat the fruit thereof lest they die (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:2-3) and when
they had eaten the fruit thereof, sin entered into them and death came to them
as a consequence (Gen. 3:19) and that sin which entered into them was then
passed down to all of mankind thereby causing all to sin and all to die (Rom.
5:12, 6:23) and not only that, but the entire creation itself has been brought
under a curse (Romans 8:19-22) as a result of Adam’s sin which is why with
death also came every kind of suffering, pain, misery, despair, grief, hardship,
adversity, wickedness, and evil and finally, Adam’s disobedience cost him the
dominion over the earth that God intended, or rather the degree of dominion
that he could have had if he had not sinned but by Adam’s disobedience,
Lucifer, who is called Satan, claimed lordship over the kingdoms of the earth
(Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7) which is why he is called the prince of this world (Jn. 12:31,
16:11) who leads and drives as many souls as he can to their eternal
destruction, blinding them to the truth of God which would rescue them from
everlasting damnation, promising multitudes what appears to be freedom but which
instead will only lead them to their ruin, lulling the masses into a false security
and peace until sudden destruction falls upon them, deceiving many with cleverly
devised falsehoods and lies, poisoning them against the things of God, making permissible
that which God has forbidden and forbidden that which God has made permissible,
and waging war against they who be the saints and servants of the most High
whom He has commissioned and commanded to call as many as are willing to repentance
and a saving faith in that God who is able to redeem the soul and the adversary
wages his war against them through various temptations in order to cause them
to disgrace themselves and the God they serve, drawing them away from their God
ordained tasks by various worldly diversions and distractions, discouraging and
demoralizing them through various afflictions, attempting to silence or destroy
them through various persecutions, and infiltrating the ranks of the saints to
corrupt, lead astray, and destroy from within that which he cannot destroy from
without.
So
oblivious are most to the spiritual forces at work, but there are so many who
claim to be of God but yet are so ignorant to the many devices of the adversary
and so underestimate them and as a result of that failing on their part, they
are ill prepared for the snares, the temptations, and the attacks when they
come and so fail to achieve victory that they otherwise could have had.
But
one of the things that the adversary of our souls has blinded so many to is their
own fallen nature that all of mankind have inherited from Adam. Most have equated sin to be confined to outward
behavior, conduct, and actions, but sin is not merely an act. It is the corrupted and twisted condition of human
nature. It is a fallen nature. It is that stain of sin that causes inherently
sinful man to be estranged from his sinless Maker who cannot allow the taint of
sin to defile His Kingdom where His throne resides for that which is sinful
cannot dwell in the presence of the sinless nor can that which is unholy dwell
in the presence of that which holy, nor the corrupt with that which is pure
lest the pure become corrupted, the holy made profane, and the sinless tainted
with sin.
Sin
affects more than we can comprehend and it is not just our actions or even the
words that come forth from our mouths, but even our thoughts, motives, and the
attitudes of our hearts are affected as well which is why it is written, that it
is not which enters into a man that defiles him but what comes out of him (Mt. 15:11,
17-20, Mk. 7:15, 18-23) and why it is also written, “cleanse first that which
is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.”
(Mt. 23:26)
For
it is not just that which is outward which will be taken into account but an
accounting for the inward will also be required as well and there is not one
person who has not sinned and if one humbly examine not just their outward
deeds but also their inward condition, they will see how they fall short of God’s
standard of moral perfection and it is that standard of moral perfection that
requires all sin, no matter how seemingly insignificant to be judged and punished
and how dreadful is that punishment.
It
is a punishment terrible and fearful beyond all imagining and which will last
forever and such is the fate of all who remain in their sins for moral
perfection also requires that perfect untainted justice also be carried out for
if God were to allow even the smallest of sins to go unpunished, then He
Himself would no longer be pure or holy, nor could He ever be called truly good
and therefore, the eventual punishment of all sin must be carried out, but our
Creator is also a God of love and mercy and it is because He loves us so, that
He is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance.
(2 Pet. 3:9)
And
in His love, He has provided us redemption in Christ Jesus who came to this
earth to die on the cross for our sins and be raised from the dead so that
anyone believing in Him will not perish but have everlasting life and
salvation. For it was on the cross that both
the demanded penalty for sin and the need for mercy were both satisfied for it
is by the blood of Christ that our souls are cleansed and by His resurrection are
we made justified in Him (Rom. 4:25)
For
Christ was able to do on our behalf what we could not do for ourselves.
Because
we are inherently sinful beings, even our own goodness is tainted therewith and
though we may desire to do that which is good and right in the eyes of God, our
own efforts are tainted by the sin that is ever present within us. For though we may perform a kind act for one person,
we may ill treat another. With our
mouths we may very well praise one and yet curse another and even acts of
goodness can be driven by selfish and even nefarious motives.
And
it is because our own goodness, even that of the best of us, is not pure enough
to deliver us from that fearful, terrible, everlasting judgment that must come
upon all sin, that salvation can only come by the unblemished goodness of one
in whom there is no sin and that is Christ Jesus, who being without sin (2 Cor.
5:21) was made that perfect and acceptable sacrifice on our behalf. (Heb. 4:15)
It
is by His perfect goodness that we are saved and not of our own flawed goodness
which is why salvation is a gift to all and not anything that can be earned
which is why it is written that by grace are we saved through faith and not of
ourselves (Eph. 2:8-9) and it is our faith in Christ alone by which we are
saved; faith in His redemptive work upon the cross, that He rose from the dead,
and that He is faithful and just to forgive all the sins of every one who comes
to Him in repentance and calls upon Him for the forgiveness of sins and
salvation.
And
with the cleansing of the soul from sin, comes a new change in the repentant
sinner (2 Cor. 5:17) when Christ enters into them through the indwelling of the
Holy Spirit causing that regenerated soul to no longer take pleasure in the sin
by which they were once condemned, nor in those things they know and understand
to be dishonoring, displeasing, and evil in the sight of God, but only in those
things that are good and pleasing in His sight, setting their sites on the
things above rather than those things below, loving the light rather than the
darkness, desiring to walk only in the truth of God and not in the lies of the
evil one, dedicating themselves to steadfast faithful service and obedience to
God alone and not to those things contrary, seeking the approval and honor that
comes from God instead of the world, desiring the heavenly rewards that await
which last forever rather than the temporal rewards that will not follow us
into the next world, seeking to build up treasures in Heaven rather which can
never be lost rather than the temporal treasures here on earth, and seeking to
live a morally upright life and to do that which is good out of love for our
Savior and out of gratitude and appreciation for the gift of salvation given to
them, no longer desiring to give strength to that old sin nature, but to
strengthen that new spiritual nature that is received upon receiving Jesus as
Savior and Lord.
It
is when we become converted in Christ Jesus that we are then made ready to fight
against those forces of darkness; those evil principalities, dark powers, and
wicked rulers, and spiritual wickedness (Eph. 6:12) so long as we remain
diligent in our service to our King, faithful in our obedience to Him, vigilant
in retaining the purity of faith and doctrine amongst the ranks which we
receive by the divinely inspired Word of God (2 Tim 3:16), zealous in our
devotion to Christ, and steadfast in our faith not allowing ourselves to be
discouraged by adversity, or to be overtaken by fear of persecution that we may
suffer on account of our devotion to the Lord and King who bought us, knowing
full well that what honors and rewards we receive are dependent on how much we
are willing to sacrifice on His behalf, what we are willing to suffer for His
name’s sake, and how faithfully we serve Him according to the respective
calling that He gives to each and every one who is in Him, using the gifts and
talents that He has instilled in each of us for His glory and on behalf of His
Kingdom which is from everlasting to everlasting, while all they who would
trouble us on His account will find themselves condemned before Him and that He
who is coming to judge the world because of the evil therein is able both
sustain through adversity and deliver His people from evil.
And
if there be any among you whose eyes have been opened to the evil and darkness
of this world to which you have been once blinded which includes also the corruption
within even our most respected and trusted of institutions, then I would
encourage you today, that you give yourselves over to the incorruptible Christ
who is calling as many as who are willing to repentance so that you may escape
the judgment that is to come and no longer have to fear the fiery everlasting
torments of Hell that would otherwise await, and so that you may one day also
be given a body no longer subject to death but which lives forever and in which
sin is not present, for just as our souls are liberated from the stain of sin,
so our bodies to will be liberated from death itself when they are changed from
corruptible to that which is incorruptible and in which sin will have no
dwelling (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) and then finally, we will be made citizens
of a new and better world when creation itself is liberated from the curse which
has afflicted it because of sin and made a new; a world in which dwells no sin,
curse, death, decay, evil, wickedness, pain, sorrow, grief, hardship, or
adversity of any sort for all these things will be done away with and be no
more. (Rev. 21-22)
If
you feel the Spirit of God urging you, even in the slightest, to turn away from
your sins and call upon Jesus for salvation, then do so today and let nothing
hold you back from doing so.
An
example of a prayer of repentance:
"Lord
Jesus I need you.
I
realize that I am a sinner
who
has fallen short of the glory of God
and
that my goodness falls short
of
your standard of Moral perfection.
Please
forgive me of all of my sins.
Come
into my heart and into my life
to
be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make
me into the servant and follower
that
you want me to be.
In
your name Lord Jesus, I pray.
Amen."
Know
that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him
forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all
sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in
Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven
and your place in Heaven is certain.
