Why They Stubbornly Hold To Madness

An American Greatness commentary item titled Ketanji Brown Jackson Is Neither Black Nor a Woman sets its sites on a madness and confusion the now presently sitting Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Jackson Brown apparently has embraced.  It was written and published at the time of Jackson’s nomination and though it may seem like old information, that does not make it any less relevant now

The madness and confusion that has been embraced and even promoted by Jackson Brown, who is the first female black Supreme Court Justice, is that she cannot define what a woman is because, as the item cites, she is not a biologist. It then goes on to state that according to that same logic, if she cannot even determine her own gender, then she cannot define what “black” or “white” is either nor can she know if she herself is a white person or a black person because she is not an ethnologist, but wherein would lie the inconsistency would be if she states for a fact what her ethnicity is but cannot determine what a woman is but that is the foolishness and madness of the left and Jackson Brown is just one of many who have embraced a philosophy and ideology that would have us deny even the most basic facts and has only served to sow confusion and madness in the hearts and minds of those who have been deceived into embracing it.

The same people who insist that the universe came into existence by random processes and that all life arose over time from non-living chemical matter are also the same people claiming that gender cannot be defined by biology or that racism is only inherent in one people but not in another or that some groups of people are inherently corrupt while others are somehow intrinsically good or that ones own behavior and actions are not determined by their choices by their genetics; (LGBT behavior for example and they won’t stop there either)

And this destructive deluded madness has infiltrated every part of society from our academic establishments, places of worship, and business sector to the tiers of media, entertainment, and halls of government.

And as the writer of the commentary piece further points out, no matter how brilliant, factual, logical, and rational the challenges to the lies which has birthed such foolish and irrational way of thinking, and no matter how much evidence there may be to discredit the falsehoods that have poisoned and warped the minds of multitudes, there continue to be those who stubbornly cling to the same madness and to the same delusions that guide Kentanji Jackson Brown and has no doubt influenced and no doubt will continue to influence most of her judicial decisions and there is a reason for this irrational insistence to hold to ideologies and philosophies that have been thoroughly discredited in more ways than one that the writer of the piece acknowledges that most others seem to ignore or dismiss.  He states that they “do this not out of some great philosophic insight or because they have been persuaded by an argument, but because of their innate psychological, spiritual, and biological drives.”

Driven by a warped psychology, giving themselves over to corrupted biological drives, and under the influence of a spiritual darkness, but be that as it may, that does not mean that presenting challenging arguments founded in fact, truth, and reason against cleverly devised and pervasive falsehoods is a futile endeavor but is vital to discrediting those errant philosophies and ideologies that have resulted in the unstable way of thought we see today because there are those who genuinely believe the lies they have been told to be truth and it is only when they are presented with a credible case against that by which they have been deceived that they become undeceived or when they have been betrayed by the establishments and institutions in which they trusted or experience a disillusionment with the philosophies and ideologies that have been entrenched in their minds and hearts that they might ever consider anything other than what they had once trusted or believed in, but, as the writer points out, there are those who will never abandon errant thinking no matter what is presented before them to lead them away from the error of their ways and no matter how irrational and unsound the ideology they hold to is shown to be and the reason, as the writer touches on, is a spiritual one and also a matter of the heart but in order to determine as to what the attitude of the heart is, sometimes, the intellectual, philosophical, and theological barriers have to first be addressed as they can be used to hide the attitude of the heart and the attitude of the heart is what determines as to what they will ultimately give themselves over to be it to their salvation or to their destruction.

There is a war going on for the minds, hearts, and souls of men and this same war that rages on today and which seems to be intensifying in our world today has been going on since the beginning of time itself.  On one side there is that Spirit of reason, logic, truth, order, clarity, purity, faithfulness, law, light, life, and liberty and on the other side is another spirit of darkness, death, lies, deception, corruption, treachery, lawlessness, confusion, and madness, and oppression and in this warfare some choose to side with the light against the darkness and then there are others who choose to side with the darkness against the light and which side each person chooses depends on what they find themselves taking the most pleasure in.

From the Spirit of light came a world of life, light, purity, order, peace, contentment, liberty, and truth, but from the spirit of darkness came a world of death, decay, misery, grief, hardship, strife, violence, and oppression but that which came from the spirit of darkness was once absent from the world that was initially created until that evil spirit of darkness subtly crept into that newly created world in the form of a serpent and caused mankind to do one thing and the only thing that was forbidden to them by the God who created all things: Eating the fruit of a tree known as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  God had warned man that in the day of eating the fruit from that one tree forbidden them that they would surely die. (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3)

But that evil spirit, that enemy of God, in the form of a serpent offered to man what appeared to be a greater freedom than what was given him by claiming: “Ye shall not surely die…for God doth now that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” (Gen. 3:5)

Thinking that greater freedom and enlightenment was being withheld from him, the first man Adam, and the first woman Eve, his wife ate of that fruit forbidden to them, but instead of receiving greater enlightenment, they received shame, and instead of greater power, they were reduced to a status inferior than what they once possessed, and instead of greater freedom, they were led right into bondage; the bondage of sin and death.

It was in that day that when they ate of that fruit which they were told not to eat from that sin, being that corrupted condition of human nature, entered into them and with sin came death, just as they were told would be their sentence if they had disobeyed that one vital command given to them by their Creator. (Gen. 3:19)

But the sentence of death did not stop with Adam and Eve, but was passed down to all of mankind because it is from them from whom all of mankind descend and from them we have inherited within ourselves sin (Rom. 5:12) being not merely confined to just our actions or even the words we speak, but also infecting our very thoughts, motives, the attitudes of our hearts, and staining our very souls and it is because of this corrupted condition that we all sin and as a consequence, we all die, for as it is written, the wages of sin is death. (Rom. 6:23)

But the consequences and effects of sin are not confined to just mankind, but has spread throughout all of creation thus resulting in the world we know today being dominated by death and decay and filled with all of its hardships, oppressions, miseries, griefs, sorrows, darkness, and every form of evil that there ever could be which is why it is written that the entire creation groans and travails in pain to this day. (Rom. 8:19-22)

When we understand what sin is and its consequences for both mankind and all of creation, is it any wonder that we should experience wars, famines, poverty, financial hardship, every kind of sickness and disease that there ever could be, every anguish known to man, that men should be born with deformities, that some die before their time, that the lives of even children and infants should be snuffed out in a moment, that parents should find themselves bereft of offspring, that our bodies should grow old and wear out, or that anyone should ever have to die at all?

For by one lie in the garden did that evil spirit who wages war with God Almighty, that serpent whom we know as Satan or the Devil bring death into the world by way of causing sin to enter into our first two ancestors which is why he is called a murderer and the father of lies (Jn. 8:44) and by sin and death did he defile that perfect creation of God Almighty and claim lordship over the kingdoms, empires, and nations of the world (Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7) which is why he is called the prince of this world (Jn. 12:31, 16:11) for by deceit and trickery, did he not only bring death to mankind by sin, he also diminished the authority of man over the earth.

And to this day, the lord of darkness continues, with his various cleverly crafted lies and deceits, to blind men to the light of God’s truth which brings liberty, poisons them against His offer of mercy, forgiveness, and reconciliation, and tries to suppress any and all knowledge that might lead men to embrace the truth of God, thereby taking their souls captive and holding them in a bondage not necessarily in the form of chains and prisons built and fashioned by the hands of men, but by prisons and chains unseen, a spiritual darkness to which he keeps as many as he can blind, leading them to what can be nothing more than an eternity of punishment and torment.

Just as Satan told Eve that eating of the forbidden fruit would not bring death, so he deceives multitudes into denying that they are inherently corrupt and sinful and tells them that there is no danger of judgment and eternal damnation because of sin and it is that same deceiver who would have us believe that we cannot be held responsible for our actions and behavior because they are either biologically driven or directed by some form of psychological instability.  He is always ready to provide any unrepentant sinner any excuse and justification to remain in their sin and to continue taking pleasure in those things that estrange us from our Creator and condemn us to an eternity of torment and it is this same lying spirit who tells us that our bodies, fashioned by our Creator, are but mistakes, including our biologically assigned gender, skin-color, and ethnicity and that our true gender and ethnicity is whatever we feel we are for any given reason thereby subjecting us to intellectual confusion; the very same kind of confusion that is being taught in our schools, colleges, and universities and which prevents those like Justice Kentanji Jackson Brown from being able to accept and define even the most basic of facts.

If they would reject truth that cannot be changed, then should it be any wonder that they might go so far as to then reject unchanging facts that stare them right in the face?  And all because, as it is written, they take pleasure in darkness instead of the light because their deeds are evil and therefore by nature will hate that which is of the light (Jn. 3:19-20) because they love that which the Creator hates and therefore do not have the love or truth of the Maker in them.

But nevertheless, the God who made us, in His immense love for man, offers him forgiveness and reconciliation to any willing to turn away from their sin submit themselves to His authority, love, grace, and mercy for He is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Pet. 3:9) and be delivered from what would otherwise be a fearful, horrifying, everlasting, and unending torment which is the final sentence pronounced upon all sin and upon all those who persist in remaining in their sin and in their evil.

For in His love, God has bought salvation for us and offers it to us in Christ Jesus, who being without sin (2 Cor. 5:21) offered Himself up as that needed and required perfect and pure sacrifice (Heb. 7:26-27) necessary for the purchase of our redemption and it by His death and the shedding of His blood on the cross upon which He was crucified that the demanded penalty for all sin was paid and mercy given and it is resurrection from the grave that justifies our faith in Him (Rom. 4:25) thereby showing the sacrifice made on our behalf accepted by God the Father.

Through Adam came sin, but through Christ Jesus came redemption.
And just as death came through Adam, so eternal life comes through Christ Jesus, and just our souls are redeemed from sin and delivered from eternal hellfire by the blood of Jesus, so our bodies will also be liberated from the bondage of death when our corruptible mortal coils are changed into a form incorruptible and in which dwells no sin (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 3:13-18) and finally, creation itself will also be redeemed when it is made anew and when the prince of this world receives his sentence and faces his final and once and for all defeat when he is thrown into that fiery lake of torment that awaits him and all those who have sided with him. (Rev. 20:10-15)

And in this new and better creation promised us, there will be no sin, no death or decay, nor any pain, grief, sorrow, hardship, or any kind of evil, but only light, life, peace, joy, contentment, and happiness before the Lord God Almighty. (Rev. 21-22)

If you have not done so already and would like to turn away from your sins and give yourself over to Jesus today so as to make sure of your place in Heaven and in the new world to come, I would urge you this day to, in all sincerity, call upon the name of Jesus today for as it is written, now and today is the day of salvation. (2 Cor. 6:2)

It is but a simple sincere prayer away:

"Lord Jesus I need you.

I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.

Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.

Amen."

Know that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
