A Troubling Poll: An Increasing Number Of People Think That Political Assassinations Will End Their Troubles

After an assassination attempt against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh for his part in overturning Roe .v. Wade, a disturbing poll came out that showed that an increasing number of people believe that political assassinations are necessary to protect democracy and the nation and not just on the anti-Christ Democrat side, but increasingly on the GOP side as well. [1]

Now granted that the poll was conducted by Tulchin Research on behalf of the Southern Poverty Law Center (more appropriately, the Satanic Perverted Lewd Center) [2] and therefore I do not trust anything coming out of that organization, but if this poll were to turn out to be accurate, it would only go to show that just how severe and intensified the polarization and divide between both sides of the aisle has become and of course, the threatening rhetoric spewed forth by Senator Chuck Schumer before the overturning of Roe .v. Wade [3] didn’t help matters either, but even before then, for those of us who actively surf the web or are active social media users, we have seen expressed fears of violence and wishes of harm and death against political figures and those of influence and not just from the left but even from those on the right as well.

Those desiring to eliminate a political or influential figure with whom they find themselves to be at ideological odds with always think it will demoralize their base and put a stop to a movement though that may be true in some cases, sometimes, assassinations, in the long run turn out to be ineffective and can even tend to have the opposite affect of what was intended and instead a martyr is created and while the followers of the fallen figure may mourn for a season, they will rally once more behind everything that figure stood for in their eyes, become more galvanized, and more determined than ever before to see finished what that figure had begun.

One notable example of this from history is what is recorded in the first book of the Maccabees which records the Jewish fight for freedom from the wicked Antiochus Epiphanes who had defiled the Jewish Temple and imposed pagan laws and customs upon the people.  That fight for Jewish independence began with Mattathias a priest of Israel and then after he had passed, was carried on by his five sons, and brought to completion by the son of Simon who was one of the five.  When one son fell, whether in battle or an act of treachery, it had virtually no long-term affect on the morale of the freedom fighters and another standard bearer would quickly take the place of each one that fell. [4] The hope of the people for deliverance and freedom was not in the Maccabean family itself, but in a power far greater, recognizing that the Maccabees were but a means of through whom that power worked for the deliverance and good of that people.

Just because a political or influential figure is taken down, that doesn’t mean that their work ends with them or that the values, virtues, causes, philosophies, ideologies, creeds, or doctrines that they represented and championed die with them and sometimes, they tend to accomplish more in death than they ever did in life and that goes for those figures of influence on the side of either good or evil.

There may come a time, though it never should be desired or longed for, when the use of force on our part may be necessary to correct injustices, preserve our Constitutional liberties, and eliminate government corruption at any and all given levels, but that time has not yet come as we have been blessed with a form of government that has provided us means to make known our grievances before our governing authorities, to remove them from power by way of elections, and to expose their wicked and oppressive acts before all in hopes that meaningful and lawful action may be taken against them but even when those means granted to us by our Constitution do not avail us, that still doesn’t mean we should resort to violence when they do not heed our petitions, civil protests and rallies, but rather instead, refusal to file taxes and civil disobedience should be the next step, and all the while, we need to make every effort and to whatever extent afforded to us, to undo the lies and deception that are being, taught, propagated, approved, and affirmed not just by governing powers, but also by the media, entertainment industry, academic institutions, and in many cases, even religious organizations.

And for those of us who know the times in which we live, we should expect that the political, ideological, and religious divides should intensify and even for acts political, ideological, and religious violence to increase for it has been warned in scriptures claiming divine inspiration that “perilous times shall come,” (2 Tim. 3:1) among which would be “wars and rumours of wars” (Mt. 24:6) and not just between nations but also between factions within nations and that the nations of the world would be beset by “perplexity” (Lk. 21:24) for as the time of the end draws near it should be expected that the age-long war between good and evil should intensify for as the darkness of the world grows then must also the light of them who be of the light shine even brighter until that age-long war is brought to its final conclusion for the wars, strife, divisions, discord, violence, turmoil, hardships, miseries, oppressions, griefs, sufferings, and every kind of evil and injustice that we see today are but manifestations of that war between those powers and principalities that are unseen which is why it is written that there is a war that is not against flesh and blood but “against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Eph. 6:12)  And it is a war for the hearts, minds, and souls of men and it is a war that began before creation itself and in the spirit realm before it manifested in the natural or material realm and it began when a certain spirit; a cherub or the guardian of the cherubim who had once served at the throne of most High; the Lord God Almighty who is the Maker of Heaven and earth until that cherub, who is called Lucifer, was lifted up in pride and thought to make himself equal with God Almighty (Is. 14:11-21, Ezek. 28:12-19) for which cause he and they who sided with him were cast from their places in Heaven for it is with this fallen angel evil originated and from there, he brought his evil to a newly formed universe and to the earth in which dwelt life, light, goodness, and peace and where perfect unity, harmony, and fellowship existed between God, man, and even nature itself and it was the earth over which God had given man to rule (Gen. 1:26) but there was one thing forbidden to mankind and that was a tree called the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen. 2:9) for it was warned to them that in the day that they ate the fruit thereof, they would surely die. (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3)

But that fallen angel Lucifer, better known as Satan or the Devil, came in the form of a serpent and led mankind into doing the one thing that they were warned not to do and it was through a lie that he caused the first man Adam, and his wife Eve, the first woman, to commit that transgression that brought death to them (Gen. 3:19) by telling them that they would not surely die but instead become more enlightened and even attain divinity (Gen. 3:4-5) and therefore by a lie, he brought upon mankind the sentence of death which is why Satan is called a liar and a murderer from the beginning and not only a liar but the father of lies (Jn. 8:44) but that sentence of death was not confined to just Adam and Eve but was passed down to all of mankind because when Adam and Eve had eaten of that forbidden fruit, sin, in which lies the power of death, entered into them; sin not being just an act or even ill-spoken words or corrupt communication, but being much more than that, for it is a corruption that resides from with.  It is the corrupted condition of human nature that causes within us things contrary to what God created us to be, influencing not only our actions, behavior, or even what comes out of our mouths, but also our thoughts, motives, and the attitudes and conditions of our hearts which is why it is written that we are not defiled by the things that are without, but defiled by the things that come from within (Mt. 15:11) for it is by sinful thoughts, wicked motives and desires, and darkened, hardened, and evil hearts that the manifested evil and sinful acts, behaviors, conducts, and evil and ill-spoken words are produced. (Mt. 15:18-19) and it is that sin which entered into Adam and Eve and which put them to death that puts all of mankind to death for the sin that entered into Adam and Eve was passed down to all of mankind and since we are all descended from Adam and Eve, the sin that entered into them resides within us as well because it was passed down to us and we are all born into that sin and inherently corrupt from the first day of our lives and we because we are born inherently sinful and corrupt, we are all, like Adam and Eve before us, subjugated to eventual death irrespective of age, gender, lineage, ethnicity, skin-color, or nationality (Rom. 5:12) which is why it is written, the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23) because it in sin that death has its power but the affects of sin are confined to just man alone, but have extended to all of creation which is why it is written that the entire creation travails and groans in pain to this day (Rom. 8:19-22) and thus the reason for why death and decay reign in the earth and why every kind, degree, and magnitude of darkness, evil, sin, suffering, hardship, turmoil, misery, oppression, pain, and grief abound throughout all of creation for it was by way of sin that the present state of this world into which we are born came to be and in causing the fall of man, Satan claimed authority over all the kingdoms, nations, and empires of the earth (Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7) which is why is called the prince of this present world. (Jn. 12:31, 16:11)

By a lie, and the first lie ever known to be told, Satan brought death through sin which made him the father of lies and a murderer and with deceit, he usurped the authority over the earth that was given to man, and by death and sin, he caused the entire creation be subjugated to a slow decay and death which is why he is not only called a liar and a murderer, but also why he is also called the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. (Jn. 10:10)

It was in the garden where Satan caused the fall of man by leading him into eating of that forbidden fruit that the war that began between God and Satan became a war for the hearts, minds, and souls of men, and it continues to this day.

There is one side that attempts to reason with us, appeals to our conscience, speaks truth to our hearts, minds, and souls, calls us to its light, offers us redemption, love, and mercy, calls upon us to abide by precepts, virtues, and a moral standard designed for our good, to love one another, to be at peace with one another, to learn the ways of purity, holiness, godliness, and righteousness and to pursue thereafter, to store up for ourselves treasures in Heaven that will last forever rather than temporal treasures on earth which we will not be able to take with us and which can be lost to us, to love the things that are good and to avoid those things that are evil, to turn away from self-centered ambition to those ambitions that pertain to things that are beyond ourselves.

Then there is another side that is deceptive, manipulative, seductive, poisons our minds with lies, causes us to take for truth that which is a lie, hardens our hearts against that which is truth, blinds us to it, appeals to our carnal nature, leads us to take pleasure in those things that are evil instead of the things that are good, fills us with selfish, evil, and wicked desires, leads us to live for worldly comforts and pleasures and to place our faith in the things of this present world rather than in the better world to come, to side with the things of darkness rather than the things of the light, to take light for darkness and darkness for light, to call good evil and evil good, and to do and live as we will without thought for the consequences of our actions and choices and how they affect the course of our lives and how they affect others around us.  It causes us to love ourselves but not others, sows needless discord amongst those who might otherwise be at peace with one another and be in harmony with one another, separates those who might otherwise be bound together in love, may take on the form of light but is of the darkness, may perform acts of goodness but is pure evil, knows how to make us feel loved and valued but is filled with hatred and is ready to discard those who it seduces once it has either fulfilled its purpose with them or has no further use of them, and promises what may appear to be freedom but is not but instead leads us into oppression, darkness, and despair.

And each person has been and is still presented with a choice as to what side they will align themselves with:

Light or darkness
Life or death
Liberty or bondage
Order or chaos
Love or hate
Peace or violence
Truth or falsehood
Good or evil
Righteousness or unrighteousness
Purity or corruption
Holiness or unholiness
Godliness or ungodliness
God or Satan
Heaven or Hell
Salvation or damnation

For those of us who choose to side with God, He, in His love and mercy has provided us redemption for our sins for He is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Pet. 3:9) thereby doing on our behalf what we could not do for ourselves because of sin ever present within us and though we may desire to do good and try to do good, sin within us causes even our own goodness to fall short, even the goodness of the best of us, and what is required of us is moral perfection and to be morally perfect as God is perfect for that which is less than morally perfect will never be admitted into the Kingdom of Heaven and there is none of us who is able to attain to that moral perfection required by our own efforts for we have all sinned and fallen short of that demanded standard of moral perfection (Rom. 3:23) and since we can do nothing to redeem ourselves because of sin, the God who is without sin (2 Cor. 5:21) came to the earth as a man and in the likeness of a man (Jn. 1:1-14) and He being without sin was that perfect sacrifice needed and required to take upon Himself the demanded penalty for our sins (Heb. 7:26-27) that in Him, we may be redeemed out of our sins and saved from what would be an unimaginable eternity of torment that all who choose to remain in their sins are made subject.

It was this incorruptible and sinless man who is called Jesus Christ who came into the world to redeem mankind of sin and by offering Himself up unto death on the cross upon which He was crucified and His blood shed, that the demanded penalty for sin was satisfied and mercy given and after having by His death purchased redemption on our behalf, after three days rose again from the dead so that we may be justified in Him (Rom. 4:25) if we will but call upon His name for the forgiveness of sins, trusting only in Him for our salvation and in no other name or in any other means.

For with sincere repentance in Christ Jesus is the soul cleansed from all sin, transgression, and iniquity and is therefore reconciled to God (2 Cor. 5:18) from whom sin had once separated that soul, and along with the cleansing of the soul from sin and reconciliation with our Creator comes a transformation of that soul (2 Cor. 5:17) a new nature that causes us want to do those things that are evil in the sight of God but only good.  No longer do we want to abide in anything but His truth for He is the way, the truth, and the life. (Jn. 14:6)
No longer do we want to take pleasure in the things of darkness but only in those things that are of the light, no longer do we want to pursue after those things that are sinful, but only after righteousness, purity, and holiness.
No longer do we want to be caught up in worldly affairs but only in heavenly affairs, no longer seeking to store up for ourselves temporal treasures on this earth, but treasures up in Heaven which will be everlasting treasures, (Mt. 6:20)
no longer should we seek after the favor and praise of men, but only the praise and favor of God, no longer should we have fear of those that can only bring temporal affliction and bodily harm and death, but only God who is able to cast both body and soul into hell for all eternity where there is nothing but everlasting torment, (Mt. 10:28) no longer should we be following after the ordinances, traditions, customs, and counsels, wisdom, and laws of this present world, but only after the precepts, virtues, laws, doctrines, wisdom, knowledge, counsel, and instruction that comes from God alone, for as it is written, “be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God,” (Rom. 12:2) and we should not judge after the manner of the people of this present world, which is by outward appearances, but if we are to judge, we must judge with righteous judgment (Jn. 7:24) which is the words that are spoken, manner of conduct and behavior, and deeds and actions performed.

And just as we are made spiritually alive by Christ by the cleansing of our souls from sin, so then we also look forward to bodily redemption when our bodies will also be liberated from death when they are transformed from the corruptible forms that they are in which sin dwells to forms incorruptible in which dwells no sin and therefore can no longer die (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) for where there is no sin, there is no death.  And finally, creation itself will be liberated from the curse to which has been subject because of sin when it is made anew and in this new and better creation, there will be no death, no decay, no sin, no curse, no evil, nor anything it that is sinful or evil, nothing that is of the darkness, no misery, no suffering, nor any pain or grief, nor any turmoil or hardship of any sort for all those things will pass away with this present world, but instead, there will only dwell in it, peace, happiness, joy, contentment, harmony, unity, and love before the Lord God Almighty (Rev. 21-22)

Through the transgression of Adam and Eve, by the eating of the forbidden fruit, Satan brought sin and evil into the world and through the sin that entered into Adam came death not only to Adam and Eve but to all of us because the sin that entered into them was inherited by us because we descend from them which is why we all die and are born estranged from our Maker because of sin, but in Christ Jesus came redemption from sin, reconciliation with our Maker, and eternal life and by Christ will death be no longer when even our bodies, which are presently subject to death are changed into forms in which dwells no sin and therefore are exempt from death and the dominion usurped by Satan through the transgression of Adam and his wife Eve, will be undone with the return of Christ Jesus who, when He returns, shall take back the dominion when He shall cast Satan out of the world (Rev. 19-20) and establish His rule upon the earth during which the world shall be ruled in truth and in righteousness and that which was cursed on account of sin will be liberated from that curse when it is made anew in a pure and incorruptible state.  Those who choose Christ look forward to being a part of this new and better world to come.

But for those who side with Satan and against God, who love the things of darkness instead of the things of light, who enjoy their sin instead of righteousness, who love this present world and the things therein instead of the things of Heaven, who horde up for themselves treasures on earth rather than storing up treasures in Heaven, who are consumed with self-serving ambitions, and whose desires nothing but those of evil, they have nothing to look forward to except the fate that all sin and all evil have to look forward to and that is judgment and a judgment that will never end.

This age-long war between God and Satan is going to draw to a close and a time is coming when the sin of this world will reach its full measure and when the darkness of this present world will reach its full height and when that day comes, judgment will come for God cannot allow for evil to abide forever.  It must face eventual punishment but for now, He holds back His wrath for He takes no pleasure in destruction.  He takes no pleasure in the death of sinners, but would rather that they turn to Him from their sinful ways and is ever holding out His offer of love, mercy, and forgiveness for any who are willing to receive it.

If you are not sure as to whether or not you are on the right side of history and on the winning side in this age-long spiritual war between God and Satan, but would like to be sure that you are on the winning side, I can assure you this:

GOD WINS.  SATAN LOSES.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE TRIUMPHANT KING.  SATAN IS A DEFEATED FOE AND DESTINED FOR A FINAL EVERLASTING DEFEAT.

And those who side with God will share in everlasting victory but those who side with Satan to defeat everlasting.

And if you have not done so already and want to be assured that you are on the side of victory, then I urge you reader to humbly and with a sincere faith and in genuine heartfelt repentance to call upon the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins so that you may be in the camp of the victor.  It is but a simple sincere heartfelt prayer of repentance away.

"Lord Jesus I need you.

I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.

Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.

Amen."

Know that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
