Alexa Does Not Know When The End Of America Will Be [Much Less The End Of The World]
Amazon’s Alexa was asked when America
as a nation would end to which it responded, the year 2031 [1] but
honestly, no one can really know what America’s expiration date really is, not
even Alexa, and when asked again on different occasions, it did not offer the
same response. [2]
Now whether or not the initial answer
was initially programmed into Alexa is unclear but what I do know is that whatever
prediction it may give for when the end of America is to be, much less the end
of the entire world, is, like every other doomsday prediction, destined to fail
but what should be made clear is that how long the nation persists really
depends on us and with what we align ourselves with as a people and nation and
if we want to see the days of America prolonged, then we need to make sure that
we are aligning ourselves with those things that bring and maintain the strength
and stability of the nation and not with those things that weaken and destabilize
it.
And the things that contribute to the
strength and stability of a nation are a strong stable economy, strong domestic
security, a strong national defense, civil stability, a reliable and
trustworthy justice system, and a government that seeks to promote and uphold
the interests of the general public which is why we need to support platforms
and political candidates that further and maintain these ends.
Secure borders with a strict vetting
process of migrants applying for legal residency, a strong, able-bodied and well-equipped
military focused on training military recruits on how to fight, a well-armed
citizenry, and an efficient and trustworthy apparatus focused on internal and
domestic security are vital to the protection and defense of a nation.
Low taxation, minimal regulation, and
self-sufficiency are vital for a strong prosperous economy.
An efficient, reliable, and trustworthy
law enforcement apparatus, and judicial system are essential for minimizing crime
and criminal activity.
Legislation that strengthens, expands
and solidifies civil rights and liberties for all people are much needed for
the preservation of social, political, and economic liberty.
But in order for these things to
transpire and be maintained, something more is required of us as a nation
because policies that we all recognize to be beneficial for the stability,
prosperity, and security of the nation do not just happen but require the right
people to be placed in power and in the positions in which they will be most
effective towards the implementation and enforcement of those good and
beneficial laws and policies designed for those ends and not only that, a
government willing to purge itself of all evil and corrupt members and
obstructionists is required and with the incoming Trump administration, there
seems to be high hopes of that and we can only hope and pray for their success
in purging the government of bad actors and in implementing those good and
beneficial policies that we know are desperately needed for the betterment of
our nation.
But the leadership that transpires
and is placed over us doesn’t just happen.
It is produced and propped up by factors that also have a hand in
directing the course of our society and shaping the policies that are set in
motion such as and not only do they shape our politics but they also shape the
culture by which our leadership and politics are shaped and what are the things
that shape our culture which in turn shapes our politics?
Is it our education system?
Is it our private sector and
corporate world?
Is it our media?
Is it our entertainment industry?
And if these are institutions that
shape our culture and politics, then what is there that shapes them? What is it
upon which both the political and apolitical rest that ultimately influences both?
What is it that determines how every
sector, level, and branch of society is shaped?
The very same thing that shapes you
and I. That is what. Because it is people who determine how every
sector, level, and branch of society is shaped which in turn determines, for
better or for worse the course of our society because it is by people that our
academic, economic, commercial, informative, entertainment, and civic
institutions are established and is what people bring into or allow into these
institutions, build and establish them on that determines their nature, how
they are molded and shaped, which then in turn determines the course of a
nation and it is what people decide to align themselves with and give themselves
over to that determines what they build and establish the institutions to which
we look to direct the course of our society and what they allow into them, that
determines the direction and ultimate fate of any nation, including our own.
And what is it that the people who
establish and operate the institutions that direct the course of society are
shaped by? What is fundamentally directing and influencing their course in
life? Not the institutions that we have placed our trust in for they are established
and supported by us, but rather we are influenced, shaped, and molded by a core
set of principles and values that we take with us into our society; into our
place of employment, into our academic institutions, into the media,
entertainment industry, and into our politics and so if the institutions in
which we have placed our trust are corrupting our nation and leading it to its
demise and destruction, then what needs to change are the set of fundamental
values and principles that are directing the institutions by which the course
of the nation is being set and that can only be done by a change in the values
and principles that the people live by and that requires a spiritual change
within the people but in order for there to be a spiritual change within the people
is if they recognize that they are in need of such a spiritual change and in
order for them to recognize the need for such a change, they must first recognize
the spiritual darkness that they are in and that the spiritual darkness that
they are in not only has consequences for them, but for the people around them,
the course and direction of their lives, and ultimately their nation and this
is a concept made clear in the Bible, widely understood by the founders of this
nation, but understood and taken seriously by few today, even within MAGA and
conservative circles but it needs to be understood and taken seriously because
how well we understand and take seriously the spiritual and moral condition of
our nation will determine whether or not it survives beyond the Trump
administration because the political divide we are experiencing, the civil
unrest that we have witnessed, the political corruption and corporate greed
that has victimized us, the miscarriages of justice from which many have
suffered, the enabling of lawlessness and criminality that is taking place in
many of our communities and neighborhoods, the academic deception that has poisoned
the minds of our students at every level, the lies by which the media deceives
the masses, the depravity within the entertainment industry to which we are
exposed, the hopeless and despair that we see driving many to drug (legal and
illegal) and alcohol abuse, and even to take their own lives, and the increase
in divided and broken household are all but the results and manifestations of a
spiritual darkness that resides within many and into which we are all born and while
we may not know exactly when the fall of America might be, one thing is for
certain in that the greater the evil within the nation, the closer to that day,
but that doesn’t apply to just America, but it also applies to the entire world
because the end of the age will not come until the evil of this present world
reaches a certain measure at which point divine judgment will be required in
order for the world to be cleansed of its wickedness and that is going to
require the elimination of all those who persist in remaining in their sins and
thereby in spiritual darkness for in the world to come, there will be no
spiritual darkness and therefore no one residing in it who is in spiritual
darkness and in this new and better world to come, there will be no sin, no
death, no suffering of any sort, no grief or sorrow of any kind, and no evil
but it will be a world in which only light, life, happiness, peace, harmony,
and joy before the Lord God Almighty who made the heavens and the earth to
begin with (Rev. 21-22) because when He had first created this universe, that
was the world that He initially intended and desired and this world, there was no
evil, no death, nor any suffering of any kind, but it was a world that was
filled with only life, light, happiness, peace, and joy, and in it existed a
perfect harmony between God, man, and nature until the day that perfect peace
and harmony was disrupted by a fateful act and it was the act of the eating of
a forbidden fruit that never should have been touched and it was a fruit that
came from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil of which the first man
Adam and his wife Eve, the first woman, were warned not to eat from, having
been told that in the day that they ate therefrom, they would surely die. (Gen.
2:16-17, 3:3)
And there was also another power at
work in the garden of Eden; one that had been at enmity with God before the
creation of the world and who had thought to make himself equal with God and
take for himself that which belonged to God alone and as a consequence, he and
all who sided with him, were cast from the positions that they had once held in
Heaven (Is. 14:11-21, Ezek. 28:12-19) and thus began that age-long war between
good and evil which rages on to this very day and after having lost his
position in Heaven, this wicked spirit, more specifically, an angel who had
once served as a covering Cherub at the throne of God called Lucifer and now
better known as Satan, crept into this newly formed world and falsely assured Adam
and Eve that they would not surely die if they ate of that forbidden fruit
(Gen. 3:4) but that they would become divine and more enlightened (v. 5) and so
Adam and Eve were at that moment given a choice as to whether to heed the voice
of God or the voice of the serpent; a choice between everlasting life or death
and instead of heeding the voice of God, they tragically listened to the voice
of the serpent thinking that they would receive greater things if they would but
eat of that forbidden fruit but instead of receiving the greater enlightenment
that they were promised, they were only enlightened to a shame that came upon
their nakedness (v. 7) and instead of becoming more divine, the sentence of
death, as they were warned, was pronounced upon them to which they eventually
succumbed. (Gen. 3:19)
For when Adam and Eve had eaten of
that forbidden fruit sin entered into them causing them to become inwardly
corrupt and contrary to what God had initially created them to be and as a
consequence, they eventually died, for it is by sin, that death comes, but it
must be understood that sin is not merely defined by an evil act, bad behavior,
or even unwholesome speech and cruelly and carelessly spoken words but it is
the inward corrupted condition of our very nature which influences our very
thoughts, motives, and the attitude of the heart and it is from that inward
corruption that the outward manifestations of sin are produced which is why it is
written that man is not defiled by what is from without, but that he is already
defiled by that which is from within (Mt. 15:11, 17-20) but the sentence of
death did not stop with Adam and Eve because, being the first ancestors of all
mankind, the sin that entered into them was then passed down to the rest of
humanity (Rom. 5:12) causing all to be born into sin, and as a consequence,
because all sin, (Rom. 3:23) all die (Rom. 6:23) but the consequence of that transgressing
act did not stop even with man but extended to all of creation which why it is
written that the creation groans and travails in pain to this day (Rom. 8:19-22)
which is why evil, suffering, and death abound throughout the world and worse even
still, the disobedience of Adam and Eve caused the dominion once given to man
(Gen. 1:26) to be diminished and gave Satan justification to claim lordship
over the kingdoms and nations of the world (Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7) which is why
he is called the prince of this world (Jn. 12:31, 16:11) having, by a lie,
attained lordship over the kingdoms and nations of this world that Adam and Eve
might have otherwise had, and the lie by which sin and death entered into the
world, by which creation is now subject to a slow death, and by which Satan attained
lordship over the earth is the very lie that made Satan the father of lies (Jn.
8:44) for it was the first recorded lie ever known to man and it was also that
lie that made Satan a murderer (v. 44) and his usurpation of the dominion initially
given to man also made him into a thief, and a thief that comes to steal, kill,
and destroy (Jn. 10:10) but that is not even the worst of it. The worst of it is that sin which brought
death and suffering into the world and which handed lordship over to Satan,
also causes everyone to be born estranged from their Creator because we are all
born into sin and inwardly defiled, and therefore, we are all born separated from
our Creator and the reason why we are born separated from our Creator, is because
that which is in sin cannot dwell in the direct presence of that which is
without sin nor can it ever enter into a world or a Kingdom in which there is
no sin and the day is coming when sin, death, evil, and suffering will be
eliminated from this world, but that is going to require an elimination of all
those who are in sin and who have not been cleansed from their sin and just as
we cannot know the day or hour of when any nation or empire ends, so likewise,
we cannot know the day nor hour of when this present age is to draw to a close.
(Mt. 24:36)
But it will come to a close when the
evil and sin of this world reaches a measure at which point there will be no
other remedy apart from divine judgment but if the Almighty withholds, it is
only due to the fact that He is not willing that any should perish but that all
come to repentance (2 Pet. 3:9) because the God of creation takes no pleasure
in punishment but takes pleasure in love and mercy because He is a God of love
and mercy and in His mercy He has provided redemption for mankind and to all
who are willing to turn away from their sins and embrace the redemption that He
offers and the redemption that He offers is found in the only One who, like God
and is Himself God, (Jn. 1:1) has known no sin and in whom there is no sin and
(2 Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15) and that is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who came
into this world to take away the sins of the world and being without sin, He
was able to be that perfect sacrifice (Heb. 7:26-27) needed to take away the
sins of the world which He did by the shedding of His blood upon the cross on
which He was crucified and after having purchased our redemption by His death,
was raised from the dead so that we, by our faith in Him would be justified in
Him (Rom. 4:25) so that anyone calling upon His name for the forgiveness of
sins may be saved from what would otherwise be an everlasting unrelenting
torment in the fires and darkness of Hell (Rom. 10:13) and with the removal of
our sins comes reconciliation to our Creator (2 Cor. 5:18) who then comes to
make His dwelling inside of us by way of His Holy Spirit which then instills in
us a new nature (2 Cor. 5:17) that makes us to no longer desire to follow after
selfish and worldly pursuits but after those things that pertain to the Kingdom
of Heaven,
to no longer take pleasure in those
things that are evil and displeasing in the sight of the Lord, but in that
which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
to no longer desire to walk in the
lies of this present world, but only in the truth that comes from Christ
Almighty, (Jn. 14:6) no longer placing our hopes in the things of this present
world, but looking forward to that new and better world to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to no longer rely on worldly
resources, men, or even our own power, abilities, skills, and wisdom for our
needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet all of our needs, (Mt.
6:33) recognizing that the resources of this world and even the people He
brings into our lives are but instruments and vessels through which God meets
our needs and that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which we might
acquire our provision are provided and instilled in us by God,
to no longer fear what men can do to
us, but rather fearing the God before whom we will have to one day give an
account for how we lived our lives, (Mt. 10:28)
to no longer look to corruptible
institutions within our society for direction and order in our lives but to God
who, by His written Word has given us laws and precepts to be applied to our
lives and which serve to produce and maintain an ordered life, and who, by His
Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon repentance, establishes in our
lives a course and direction in our lives to pursue for His glory,
to no longer seek our own glory but
the glory of God,
to no longer rally behind corruptible
men, but instead behind the incorruptible God in Heaven bearing in mind that
those men and women God raises up for our edification are but instruments and
servants of His for that respective purpose to which He has called them,
to no longer seek to align ourselves
with the things of darkness but only with the things of the light,
to no longer trust in the wisdom of
the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge that comes from above, (Jas.
1:5) nor depend on corruptible earthly authorities to swiftly administer
justice, but only in the power of God to deliver us from evil.
The more of us who will turn to God
and repent of our sins and place our trust in Christ Jesus who alone is able to
remove our sins, and will do those things pleasing in His sight, the further away
we push the day of judgment but the more hardened against the love mercy of God
we become, and the more His truth is rejected and the more people who take
pleasure in sin, evil, and darkness instead of the things that are good and
right, the closer to the day of judgment we come.
As the Lord God had spoken through
the prophet Jeremiah to the people of Israel in his day, so He also says the
same to us:
At what instant I shall speak
concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down,
and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from
their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning
a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in
my sight that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good wherewith I
said I would benefit them. (Jer. 18:7-10)
And this applies not only to nations,
but even to the entire world for that matter.
A choice remains before us today and
before every man, woman, and child just as that same choice was placed before
the first man Adam and the first woman Eve being the ancestors of all mankind:
Life or death
Good or evil
Light or darkness
Truth or falsehood
Wisdom or foolishness
Holiness or sinfulness
Purity or corruption
Righteousness or unrighteousness
Order or chaos
Liberty or oppression
Angels or demons
God or Satan
Heaven or Hell
Salvation or damnation
God or Satan
What do you reader choose? If you
have not done so already and choose redemption, love, mercy, and forgiveness
and salvation, and to be on the side of life, light, liberty, and all that is
good and right, that I would urge you to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus
for the forgiveness of sins so that you may be made a member of His everlasting
empire of liberty and a perfect liberty at that and also a citizen of the
Heavenly Kingdom which will be joined to that that new and better world that is
to come. It is but a sincere prayer of
repentance away:
"Lord Jesus I need you.
I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of
God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.
Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.
Amen."
Know that God is not concerned with
the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of
your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive
you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in
nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
