America First.Win News expressed disappointment that there
are non-Christians in the Trump administration after Trump had won the majority
of the Christian vote in the 2024 election. [1]
While granted that there are some
members of Trump’s administration that do not follow Christ, the vast majority
profess to do so whereas in the previous Biden administration, there were
hardly any professing Christians. The Trump
administration, for the most part, has been very friendly towards the Christian
community and is overall committed to defending the Constitutional rights of
Christians and to demonstrate that to be the case, Trump did something that he
never did in his first term and that was the creation of an anti-Christian bias
team [2] designed to track reported cases of
persecution against Christians by our government.
The Biden administration on the other
hand, was anything but friendly towards the Christian community, would condemn
Bible-believing Christians for refusing to affirm ungodly and sinful behavior,
would arrest pro-lifers for praying outside abortion clinics, and would denigrate
important Christian observances with perversion. The Biden creature hardly ever acknowledged
the authority of God whereas Trump, for all his faults, has acknowledged and
given reverence to Almighty God on a regular basis. The Trump administration would be considered
far more devout towards the Creator of Heaven and earth than either the Obama and
Biden administrations ever were.
Would America First.Win News
and Steven Andrew rather have had Kamala the Harlot as the President and the
anti-Christ party in control of the entire government?
Granted that Trump and his administration
may not be perfect and may not do everything that we think that they should but
the nation is on a better course with Trump in office than under the Biden
administration, but the U.S. government, regardless of who controls it, cannot
legislate theology because we live in a Constitutional republic in which is
guaranteed the freedom of speech and the free exercise of religion to people of
all respective faiths who reside here and in which governing officials are not
subjected to a religious test.
The government is simply the end
result of what a people become. Ungodly
governments arise from an ungodly people and godly governments can only arise
from a godly people. The more followers
of Christ there are in a nation, the more Christians we will find in the halls
of government, but the less Christian a people and nation are, the less
Christian their government will be and so if we want a godly government, we
must have a godly people.
It is not enough to attack the
symptoms. We have to attack the source
of those symptoms which is not political but spiritual. I believe that America First.Win and
Steven Andrew understand this but what they need to be doing is winning as many
souls over to Christ as they can and address the barriers that are blinding
people to the truth of the Gospel who might otherwise embrace it; of which
there are many which are philosophical, intellectual, theological, and
religious.
They also need to address all of the
lies and misrepresentations concerning the faith and dedicate themselves to restoring
faith in the authority of the scriptures by which the Gospel is delivered. There have been so many attacks against the
authority of scripture that most of our religious leaders have either been
ill-equipped or unwilling to address. It
is not enough to confront the darkness and corruption within the political
realm but it must also be confronted within the Church which is sadly permeated
with every kind of false doctrine, heresy, and ungodliness that there is and
instead of representing the light of the world which is Christ, much of the
Church has blended itself with the world and instead of calling the world to
conform to Christ, many professors of the faith are conforming to the ways of
the world and instead of placing their faith in God alone, many who claim to
call upon the name of Christ are placing their faith in the things, counsel,
and wisdom of this world, and instead of looking forward to the better world to
come when they should be setting themselves apart from the world, conforming
themselves to the ways of Christ instead of the ways of this world, placing more
faith and trust in God than in the things of this world, and relying more upon
the counsel and authority of scripture than on the counsels and wisdom of this world
which runs contrary to the counsels and wisdom of God.
When we read the Gospels, interestingly,
Jesus did not direct His condemnation and criticisms to the pagan Roman
occupiers of His day, but it was primarily towards the religious leaders of His
day. They were condemned for hypocrisy,
pride, self-righteousness, greed, civic corruption, putting their man-made traditions
above the law of God, placing their trust in outward performance to gain the
favor of God rather than in His grace and mercy, spiritual tyranny, and keeping
men out of the Kingdom of God who would have otherwise come to repentance and
just as it was with the Pharisees, so it is with many of those who profess to
follow Christ for though they may honor Him with their mouths, their hearts and
minds are far from Him. They may appear
godly on Sundays within the four walls of their respective congregations but when
they leave their respective fellowships, they live and act no different than
the unbeliever, sin and false doctrine are harbored and tolerated amongst professing
saints when such things need to be purged from the ranks of the saints and if
necessary, those who persist in living in sin and in the preaching of heresies
and false doctrines; both of which the Apostles had fought so hard against in
order to keep the body of Christ a credible representative on His behalf and to
preserve the pure doctrine and Gospel of the Church (Mt. 18:15-17, 1 Cor.
5:1-8, 11, 13, Titus 2:10, 13, Mt. 7:15-20, Acts 20:28-31, 2 Cor. 11:3-4,
12-15, Gal. 1:6-9, 1 Tim. 1:19-20, 4:1-3, 7, 5:22, 6:3-5, 20-21, 2 Tim.
2:16-18, 23, Titus 1:10-16, 2:11, 2 Pet. 2, 3:15-16, 1 Jn. 4:1-3, Jude) but
after the passing of the Apostolic generations, there then began a sad and
gradual departure from that pure doctrine and Gospel once delivered to the
saints by Christ, the Apostles, and the scriptures which foretold the coming of
Christ and to which our Lord and His Apostles appealed in defense of the message
they preached.
That is not to say that there have
not been godly men and women in their own rite who have sought to walk in the
truth delivered to them by the testimony of the Apostles and the instruction,
accounts, and prophecies of scripture written down by men from various walks of
life under the direction and inspiration of the Holy Spirit; there have been
many, and there have been many attempts to bring the Church back to the
doctrinal purity of the first century; the most effective attempt being the
reformation and though the reformation was not successful in bringing the
entire Church back to doctrinal purity, they were at least successful in
setting that precedent in translating into the tongue and language of the people
the scriptures which a corrupt and wicked elite class of clergy had withheld from
them so that the people could read and understand the scriptures for themselves
and so that the scriptures, before the people, could then be their own
interpreter and present their own rendering before the reader and it was when
the people were able to read the scriptures for themselves that they then could
search the scriptures to see whether what was being preached and taught to them
by their clergy was of God or man but rather than maintain and build upon that
precedent that was set, corruption within the body of Christ has only gotten
worse, false doctrines and heresies have only continued to spread like a
disease, complacency, apathy, laziness, cowardice, and biblical illiteracy have
infested the ranks of the professing faithful, and our church pews are being
filled with multitudes of unsaved and unregenerated souls.
We hear so much about the love of God
but little about the fear of God.
So much is preach about Heaven, but
hardly about Hell.
We may hear much about loving one
another, but how often are we instructed on what love really is and how we should
love one another?
Do we really know what it is to love
God?
Do we really know what it is to honor
Him?
Do we really know what it is to trust
in Him?
And how often do we ever hear instruction
on godly and righteous living?
How often are parishiners and
congregants admonished to read and study the scriptures for themselves daily?
How often are we told to watch out
for false teachers and heretics?
Where is accountability within the
body of Christ today?
And how many times do we ever hear
the preachers call any unsaved amongst their congregants to repentance?
When we hear within the Church that
the scriptures are outdated and not relevant for our time,
When we are taught that the Bible is
subject to interpretation rather than being its own interpreter and that it
doesn’t really mean what it says,
When we are told things which God has
called sinful is permissible,
When hardly anyone is well-versed in
the scriptures,
When Pastors and others of authority
and influence within the body of Christ are unable to defend the faith they
preach against intellectual, philosophical, theological, and doctrinal
challenges,
When the faith of those once professing
to follow Christ is being shaken and overthrown by challenges, questions, and
arguments to which they have no answer,
When that which is called sin by God
is tolerated and even celebrated,
When professing followers of Christ
continue to believe in things contrary to the Word of God,
When the teachings and instruction of
scripture are not regarded as sufficient for all that pertains to this present
life,
When doctrine is regarded as
unimportant,
When the grace of God is perverted
into a license and justification to live as sinfully and as wickedly as one
wishes,
When we fear men more than we fear
God,
When we value the favor of men more
than that of God,
When we place more faith in the
things of this life than in God,
When we place more hope in the things
of this present world than in the new and better world to come,
And when we are being told that there
are other ways to Heaven beside Jesus, then things within the Church need to
change.
Before there can be the revival and
Great Awakening that many within the body of Christ long for, there has to first
be a reformation within the Church and the reformation within the Church that
needs to take place is a reformation that restores confidence in the sufficiency
and authority of scripture,
That returns us to godly and righteous
living,
That brings us back to honoring God
in all that we do,
That instills in us not just the love
God, but also the fear of God and a love for God greater than a love for anything
else and a fear of God greater than that of man,
That causes us to value the favor of
God more than the favor of God,
That calls the unsaved and
unconverted to repentance in Christ,
That does not misuse the grace of God
as a license and justification to engage in sinful, ungodly, and evil practices,
That emphasizes the importance of
doctrinal purity,
That equips the saints with the
ability to provide a sound and reasoned and rational based defense for the
faith they profess,
And that declares Jesus to be the
only way to salvation.
When that happens within the body of
Christ, then we may very well have the Great Awakening that we have all longed
for because we will be better able to affect our culture for Christ and doing
so, we will then be able to lead the nation we love in a spiritual
transformation for the better that will transform households, neighborhoods,
communities, the way business is conducted, the way the private sector is run,
how students are educated, how news is reported, what entertainment is produced,
and finally our politics and government.
Now am I saying that we do not call
out our leaders when they are found promoting and doing that which is evil in
the sight of the Lord and when they renege on their campaign promises and that
we do not expose acts of evil, corruption, and ungodliness within our
government?
No, I am NOT saying that. There is a time when that must be done but we
must understand that the corruption, evil, and ungodliness that we witness
within our civic leadership are but mere symptoms of a much greater problem
which, as I mentioned much earlier in this post is not political. It is a spiritual problem and it is a problem
that is inherent in all people and as a consequence, we bring that spiritual
problem everywhere we go and into everything we do and that includes our
politics and it is a spiritual problem that goes all the way back to our very
first ancestors, Adam and Eve who were the first man and woman that God had
created and when He had first created man, He had given Adam and Eve a world in
which there was no death, suffering, decay, pain, nor any grief or misery of
any sort but a world filled with light, life, contentment, and peace with perfect
harmony between God, man, and nature and there existed between God and man a relationship
unhindered and a fellowship uninterrupted.
Adam and Eve were given dominion over
the entire earth (Gen. 1:26) but were forbidden one thing and that was a
certain fruit from a tree called the tree of the knowledge of good and evil having
been warned that in the day they that fruit, they would surely die. (Gen.
2:16-17, 3:3)
But instead of heeding of that
warning, they had committed that fateful act of disobedience that would to this
very day change the very world that God had made to be good into a world filled
with evil, darkness, death, decay, suffering, hardship, grief, and sorrow of every
kind and varying degrees and ate of that forbidden fruit having been led to
believe by a lying spirit who came to them in the form of a serpent who told
them that they would not surely die if they were to eat of that fruit but that
they would receive wisdom and become more like God (Gen. 3:4-5) and when they
had eaten of that fruit, the only revelation that they received was the shame
that came upon their nakedness (Gen. 3:7) and instead of gaining more power,
they were reduced to a status inferior to the one in which they were made, and the
sentence of death of which they were warned was pronounced upon them and to
which they eventually succumbed. (Gen. 3:19)
And the lying spirit who had come to
them in the form of a serpent and caused them to commit that fateful act of
disobedience had succeeded in taking dominion on the earth that he could not
succeed in taking in Heaven for before he crept into the newly created world
and brought evil into it, he had once served as a covering cherub at the throne
of God until he was lifted up in pride which caused him to try and make himself
equal with God and as a consequence, this certain angel and all who sided with
him, were cast from their positions and offices in Heaven (Is. 14:11-21, Ezek. 28:12-19)
and it was in that day that this angel called Lucifer became known as Satan and
it was the very lie that he told which caused Adam and Eve to eat of that
forbidden fruit that was the first lie ever known which made him the father of
lies (Jn. 8:44) and not only was he in that day made the father of lies, but that
lie that he told also made him a murderer (v. 44) because it was when Adam and
Eve had eaten of that forbidden fruit that sin had entered into them and when
sin had entered into them, the sentence of death came upon them but the sentence
of death did not stop with Adam and Eve, but the sin that entered into them
when they ate of that forbidden fruit was then passed down to the rest of mankind
(Rom. 5:12) for since we are all descended from Adam and Eve, we have also
inherited from them the sin that entered into them and the sin that we have
inherited from them and are born into is not defined by just our outward acts nor
even the words that we speak, but it is described as the corrupted condition of
our very nature that has turned us into what God never intended for us to be
and causes us to do those things that God never intended for us to do which is
why it is written that we are not defiled by that which is from without but by
that which is from within (Mt. 15:11, 17-20) and it is the defilement from
within that influences not just what we say and do, but also our very thoughts,
motives, and attitudes of the heart and it is that inward defilement that
brings death to us because, as it is written, the wages of sin is death (Rom.
6:23) and because we all sin, we all die, but the effects of sin and the eating
of that forbidden fruit still is not confined to mankind, but because of sin,
creation itself is subjected to a curse and because of the curse brought upon
it by way of man’s sin, the creation groans and travails in pain to this day
(Rom. 8:19-22) which is why this world is filled with death, decay, suffering,
evil, grief, sorrow, misery, and hardships of all kinds and varying degrees and
severities but it gets even worse as the disobedience of Adam and Eve gave
Satan justification to claim lordship over the earth (Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7)
which is why he is called the prince of this world (Jn. 12:31, 16:11) thereby diminishing
the dominion that was once given to man but that is still not the worst of it because
the sin into which we are born causes us to be estranged from our Creator with
whom we would otherwise have an unhindered relationship and fellowship because
that which is without sin cannot allow into His direct presence that which is
in sin nor can He allow into His Kingdom which is undefiled by sin that which
is sinful lest Heaven should become defiled as the earth has become defiled.
No matter what we do or where we go, our
inherently corrupt nature is with us everywhere we go and we bring it in to
everything that we do and all people give into that nature to a certain extent;
it is just that some give into that nature to greater extents than do others
but sin, no matter how seemingly insignificant, is enough to prevent us entry
into Heaven and since we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God
(Rom. 3:23) we cannot by our own merit enter into Heaven because no matter what
we attempt to do to earn our way into Heaven, it cannot be done because of sin
ever present within us but God is not willing that any should perish but that
all come to repentance (2 Pet. 3:9) because our Creator is a God of love and
mercy, not taking pleasure in judgment or punishment but in bestowing His
goodness upon all who are willing to receive and in His goodness, love, and
mercy, the Almighty has provided redemption on our behalf in a man called Jesus
Christ who is not only a man, but God in the flesh (Jn. 1:14) in the form of a
man who, being God, was without sin (2 Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15) and in being
without sin, was that perfect sacrifice needed to take away the sins of the
world (Heb. 7:26-27) which He did by the shedding of His blood on the cross
upon which He was crucified and, after having by His death purchased redemption
on our behalf, was raised again from the dead for our justification (Rom. 4:25)
so that we, by our faith in Him for the forgiveness of sins and the redemption
of our souls, may be justified in Him if we will but call upon His name for salvation
(Rom. 10:13) in sincere faith and repentance and it is by calling upon the name of
Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins that we are reconciled to our Creator
(2 Cor. 5:18) and with the cleansing of our souls from sin and reconciliation
to our Creator comes an inward transformation (2 Cor. 5:17) and it is this inward cleansing
of the soul and this regeneration which cause all who are willing to call upon
Christ for it, submit to it, and embrace it to no longer desire to follow after
selfish and worldly pursuits but after those things that pertain to the Kingdom
of Heaven, (Mt. 6:33)
to no longer take pleasure in those
things that are evil and displeasing in the sight of the Lord, but in that
which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
to no longer desire to walk in the
lies of this present world, but only in the truth that comes from Christ
Almighty, (Jn. 14:6) no longer placing our hopes in the things of this present
world, but looking forward to that new and better world to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to no longer rely on worldly
resources, men, or even our own power, abilities, skills, and wisdom for our
needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet all of our needs, (Mt.
6:25-33) recognizing that the resources of this world and even the people He
brings into our lives are but instruments and vessels through which God meets
our needs and that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which we might
acquire our provision are provided and instilled in us by God,
to no longer fear what men can do to
us, but rather fearing the God before whom we will have to one day give an
account for how we lived our lives, (Mt. 10:28)
to no longer look to corruptible
institutions within our society for direction and order in our lives but to God
who, by His written Word has given us laws and precepts to be applied to our
lives and which serve to produce and maintain an ordered life, and who, by His
Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon repentance, establishes in our
lives a course and direction in our lives to pursue for His glory,
to no longer seek our own glory but
the glory of God,
to no longer rally behind corruptible
men, but instead behind the incorruptible God in Heaven bearing in mind that
those men and women God raises up for our edification are but instruments and
servants of His for that respective purpose to which He has called them,
to no longer seek to align ourselves
with the things of darkness but only with the things of the light,
to no longer trust in the wisdom of
the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge that comes from above, nor
depend on corruptible earthly authorities to swiftly administer justice, but
only in the power of God to deliver us from evil.
And it is that very transformation
that changes the way that households are run, how people treat one another, how
education is taught, how the private sector is operated, how news and
information are reported, the nature of the entertainment that is produced, and
finally how our politics are conducted and the kind of government to which we
are subject.
And we look forward to the day that,
just as our souls have been redeemed and delivered from eternal damnation, when
we shall also be delivered from bodily death when that which is sinful is made
sinless and that which is corruptible is transformed into that which is
incorruptible (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) for wherein dwells no sin
there is no death and finally, creation itself will also be liberated from the
curse that has come upon it because of sin, when Satan who is the adversary of
our souls and is that thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (Jn. 10:10)
is given his final sentence and cast into eternal damnation along with all who
have sided with him (Rev. 20:10-15) and after that, the creation will then be
made anew, and it will be a creation in which there will dwell no death, no
decay, no evil, no darkness, no grief, no sorrow, and no misery, and no
hardship, but only light, life, happiness, peace, contentment, and joy before
the Lord God Almighty for all eternity. (Rev. 21-22)
If you want to be an agent of change
for the better in this life and want to be sure that you will be granted entry
into the Kingdom of God, then I urge you reader, if you have done so already,
to call upon the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the forgiveness
of sins. It is just a simple prayer of
repentance away:
"Lord Jesus I need you.
I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of
God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.
Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.
Amen."
Know that God is not concerned with
the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of
your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive
you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in
nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
