Contender's Edge 6th Year Anniversary

This month marks the 6th year anniversary of the Contender’s Edge blogsite.  Sorry everyone for the late post; been very busy.
The Contender’s Edge blogsite has received 31, 489 views up from 21,985 of last years which makes that an increase of 9, 498 views which is very good.
On the social media platforms on which I am established, I am going to place my focus on those platforms that are the most active and will no longer be active on those sites on which there is little to no activity.
I will no longer be active on Twellit because I don’t think anyone can see my posts there and I no longer have access to MAGA Book and they used to be such great platforms; the constant revamping of both SM platforms has costed me every follower (16 on Twellit and 18 on MAGA Book) there and I am not going to be active anymore on the Creation Social site nor on the America first platform
On Clouthub, I have 13 followers down from 26 of last year due to a revamping of the platform.
Gab does not like the use of VPN and as a consequence, I have been unable to access the site for several months but I am hoping to get that remedied soon.  The last time I checked, I had as many as 155 followers on Gab; up from 147 from last year.

But now for some good news:

On USA.Life, I have as many as 77 followers there; up from 74 from last year
On X, there is now as many as 351 followers, up from 335 from last year
On Truth Social, 67 followers; up from 26 from last year
On Anon Up, 470 followers which is up from 451 from last year
On Spreely, a total of 16 followers which is up from 12 of last year
On TBL Talk, 2 followers which is up from 1 from last year.
On Christian.social, there are as many as 6 followers which is up from 1 of last year
No change on Right Only; still at 51 friends and followers
And no change on Free Talk which is still at 1 follower

New platforms joined:

MeWe:  No followers yet as I have just recently joined
Pilled with 4 followers
Wimkin with a total of 18 followers
WeGo.social which is an affiliate of Anon Up with 3 followers
Getter with a total of 58 followers
A return to Parler with a total of 58 followers

That stands at a total of 1,337 followers up from 1,156 from last year

The blogpost that got the most attention was the blogpost concerning Jerusha Duford [1] who is the granddaughter of famed evangelist Billy Graham who, despite being a professed Christian threw her support behind Kamala Harris during the 2024 election.  Kamala Harris is an anti-Christ, LGBT behavior affirming, baby-killer who sought to destroy the integrity of women’s athletics and organizations and force women to share their designated showers, locker rooms, and restrooms with potential sexual predators and I do not see how anyone calling themselves a Christian can ever justify supporting a candidate like that, but thank God the people chose wisely and re-elected Donald Trump and that attempts to steal the 2024 election for Harris were thwarted.  Sadly some House and Senator races were likely stolen away and were it not for the theft of some of those races, we might have a larger majority in the House and Senate, but the important thing is, is that we have the Presidency and a GOP majority.
But as I said in my blogpost, any professor of the faith who hates Trump, the GOP, and MAGA so much that they would rather have a baby-killing, LGBT affirming, anti-Christ people in power who endanger women and poison the children into submitting to procedures that are harmful, regrettable, and irreversible needs to have their heart and soul examined because their heart and soul are not in the right place.
Trump, though not where we would all like him to be on the pro-life/abortion matter, is still by far, more pro-life than anyone on the left, cares more about the safety and welfare of both women and children than any anti-Christ DEM ever would, is a much greater defender of our First and Second Amendment rights, than anyone on the anti-Christ ever would be, and is restoring dignity and honor to both our government and military by eliminating WOKE/DEI/LGBT affirming ideology from both the federal government and our armed services and he is much more on the side of Christians than a Harris administration ever would have been and his record on those matters is plain on those accounts to any who are willing to examine his record.
For those of us who profess to follow Christ, it is vitally important that our lives and mindset reflect our profession of faith and that we honor God in all that we do and that includes our politics and who we choose to lead us but sadly, there are a sizeable number of those who profess Christ and claim to have a biblical worldview but when it comes to the elections, they either refuse to vote or they vote for candidates who are diametrically opposed to what they claim to believe in.  By refusing to vote, they are complicit in the prevailing of evil that otherwise might not take place if they had voted  and by voting for godless, anti-Christ candidates who promote and impose perversion and slaughter the most innocent among us, they empower evil and a day is coming when we will all have to stand before God Almighty and give an account and answer for our priorities in this life, how we have lived our lives, and every decision and choice that we have made in this present life, including the kind of leadership that we choose.
How many professing followers of Christ are we going to see shut out of the Kingdom of Heaven because instead of honoring and including Him in all that they did, they decided to hold to a mindset and a way of living contrary to His teachings and to the teaching and instruction of scripture? They will say to Him, Lord, Lord, but He will plainly tell them that He never knew them and will shut them out of the Kingdom of Heaven (Mt. 7:22-23) in spite of all the things that they claim to have done in His name because their hearts were never really with Him nor with the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.  Instead, their hearts were only with the things pertaining to this present life and this present world.  They were more concerned with pleasing men than they were with pleasing God, feared men more than God, loved other things more than God, placed their faith and hope in other things than in God, and relied on wisdom and counsel that did not come from God.  And instead of striving to live righteous and godly lives, they took pleasure in the things of sin.
Instead of being champions of godliness and righteousness, they became affirmers and celebrators of sin and evil.
Instead of purging those things not of God from their ranks, they harbored and tolerated those things of darkness and evil and in doing so, disgraced themselves before the Lord God Almighty.  Rather than being conformed to Christ as it is commanded, (Rom. 12:1) they became conformed to the things of this world.
Instead of loving and taking pleasure in the things of Heaven, they loved this present world and the things in it.
Instead of being champions of truth, they persisted in adhering to and preaching lies and they join the unbelieving in the condemning and persecution of those who truly want to serve the Lord and to honor Him in all things.

We are admonished by the Apostle Paul to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith (2 Cor. 13:5) for there are those who may think they are in the faith but never really gave themselves over to it and the practice of their faith is simply a Sunday hobby within the four walls of the church rather than a daily way of life and so I would encourage you professing Christian: Examine your life and not just your outward performance, but also your inward person, to see if you are in the faith lest you should find yourself shut out of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus died to redeem you from your sins, not for you to remain in them.
He saved you to be an instrument of goodness and not evil.
He took away your sins that you might give yourself to purity and holiness and not corruption and perversion.
He called you to be set apart from the unbelieving world and not to be a part of it even though you may live in it and to be His light to the world and not to blend into its darkness.
He commissioned you to walk in His truth and not in the lies of this world and to be a preacher of that truth whenever opportunity is given and not to be silent nor to be a propagator of falsehood.
He delivered you from darkness that you may walk in His light, not so that you could continue living in darkness.
He reconciled you to Himself that you might grow closer to Him every day, not drift away from Him.
Your redemption was purchased, and to be first and foremost in your life, not secondary or an afterthought.
And the grace and mercy that He has shown you should be received with the utmost gratitude which can only be shown by turning away from the sins that you have been forgiven of and not living in them.

And if upon examining yourself you have any doubts as to your salvation, then I urge you reader to call upon the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  It is but a simple prayer of repentance away:

"Lord Jesus I need you.

I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.

Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.

Amen."

Know that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
