Prominent Science Publication, Live Science, Admits That We May Not Be As Genetically Related To Apes As Most Of The Scientific Community Has Thought

Prominent science publication, Live Science, admits that we may not be as genetically related to apes as most of the scientific community has thought.  They confess that upon further research, the genetic similarities between man and chimp may be more like in the range of 74 to 75 percent. [1]

The publication went on to state:

…the 99% figure is misleading because it focuses on stretches of DNA where the human and chimp genomes can be directly aligned and ignores sections of the genomes that are difficult to compare, Thomas Marques-Bonet   head of the Comparative Genomics group at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (CSIC/UPF) in Barcelona, Spain, told Live Science in an email. [2]

Still, the publication went on to theorize that the genetic differences between man and chimp are attributed what is called “insertions” and “deletions” [3] but they were careful to explain it in terms that did not necessarily have to do with a gain or loss of DNA or genetic information but theorized that, “In the course of evolution  from a common ancestor, some pieces of DNA in one species broke off and reattached elsewhere along the chromosome.” [4]

To simply put, the evolution from ape to man was due to a recombination of DNA and genetic information, and not due to a gain in information (which evolution requires for one form of life to descend from another) or loss in information, but is a simple recombination of genetic information sufficient for men to descend from apes? After all, while men and apes do undeniably share a lot of physical similarities, there is still so much that sets man apart from the ape such as body and facial structure, speech capabilities (chimps don’t possess it),
superiority in intelligence (chimps are immensely intellectually inferior to man)
the ability to reason (chimps act only on base instinct and impulse)
ranges of experienced emotions, (men experience a wider range of emotions than chimps do)
innovative skills, (Anyone ever see a chimp craft a wheel?)
the ability to make a wide variety of vocal sounds, (chimps can’t make even half of the vocal sounds we hear people make)
sophistication in social structures, (I won’t even get started on that) and what sets us apart the most from the animals, including apes, is that we are spiritual beings with a dependency upon a power and authority higher than ourselves. (Anyone ever see chimpanzees bow down before a deity besides in a Planet Of The Apes Film?)

Logically speaking all of that would have to require an increase in information which would include brain complexity, and while apes may be physically superior to men, they remain intellectually inferior to them which means that the brains of apes are not nearly as complex as that of men.

The publication did go on to insinuate that the genetic dissimilarities could very well be even greater than the 10 to 15 percent that they had admitted to:

The differences between human and chimp genomes lie mostly in noncoding DNA, the segments that do not code for a specific protein and that make up about 98% of the genome [5]

“the segments that do not code for a specific protein” make up about 98 percent of genome which, upon further study, (did you catch that part everyone?) could potentially reveal the genetic gap between man and ape even more significantly than what has been revealed already.  Even the publication admits that differences in non-coding DNA have an impact [6] but rather than go so far to admit that man and ape are separately created creatures, they try to explain this away by stating that:

While coding DNA contains the instructions for protein building, "regulatory regions" found in noncoding DNA control how, when and where these proteins are made.  They act like switches, controlling whether a gene is turned on or off.  That's why a small tweak in the genome, especially in these regulatory regions, can ripple out into large differences in traits. A small change in the DNA can have big consequences for how that DNA is expressed, and, in turn, changes in expression can lead to even bigger changes in phenotype — the scientific term for traits like hairy or not, large or small, etc. [7]

But the separation between man and ape is created by more than genes that determine size, hair length, or how much of the body is covered in hair or if it is covered in any amount of hair at all.
If the genetic differences between man and chimp are just a matter of certain genes being shut on or off, then what would have to be determined is what “switched off” genes would account for the genetic separation between man and ape.  And what would the results be if those “switched off genes” could be turned back on in both?

Until evolutionists can identify such genes, and that is assuming those particular dormant genes even exist and account for the genetic differences between man and ape, that explanation for the genetic dissimilarities between men and apes still remains in the realm of theory and conjecture and as far as we who believe ourselves to be a unique creation of God and made in His image, (Gen. 1:26) chimps have always been chimps and men have always been men; both of whom were created to reproduce after their own respective kinds, just as every other living thing has been created to reproduce after their respective kinds. (Gen. 1:11-12, 20-25)

But there is a spirit and a power at work in the world which is at enmity with our Creator that would have us believe that we are no more or less significant than an ape and that we are nothing more than just a sophisticated animal whose existence is the product of the unthinking processes of time and chance and thus blind us to the existence of our Creator to keep captive our very hearts, minds, and souls and that same spirit that would have us blind to the existence of our Creator and separated from Him for all eternity is also the same spirit who would normalize in our minds all that which is evil in the eyes of God and which bring needless suffering and death to us all and would delude us into thinking that our bodies are mistakes and that we are not the gender assigned by our biology along with a host of other lies.  After all, if we are just products of time and chance, then the universe would no doubt be full of mistakes including our own bodies but if there is a God in Heaven by whom we are all created, then we were made exactly the way He had destined us to be and our bodies are not mistakes but the enmity against our Creator of this spirit who would have us believe otherwise began in Heaven when he was lifted up in pride and thought to make himself equal to God and as a consequence, he and all who sided with him were cast from their positions in Heaven (Is. 14:11-21, Ezek. 28:12-19) and it was in that day that this evil spirt, who had once been called Lucifer, became known as Satan or the Devil and after having been cast from his place in Heaven, he then crept into the newly created world in the form of a serpent where he, from that day forward, would take his war against the Lord God Almighty who is the Creator of Heaven and earth.

When God created the world, He created it to be good and He made all things in it to be good as is declared after each day of creation in the first chapter of Genesis.  It was a world filled with a perfect peace and harmony between God, man, and nature until an act of disobedience disrupted that harmony and that act of disobedience involved the eating of a fruit from a certain tree called  the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which Adam, being the first man whom God had made, and Eve, being the first woman whom God had made and was Adam’s wife, were warned not to eat from or else they would surely die in the day that they ate therefrom (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3) but rather than heed that warning, they heeded the lies of Satan who came to them in the form of a serpent which falsely assured them that they would not surely die if they ate of that forbidden fruit, but that instead, they would become more enlightened and even divine (Gen. 3:4-5) and after having eaten of that forbidden fruit (v. 6) instead of becoming more enlightened as that lying voice had told them, they only became enlightened to a shame that came over their nakedness (v. 7) and instead of becoming gods, they were reduced to a mortal state and a status inferior and lower than the one in which they were made, and as warned, the sentence of death was pronounced upon them (v. 19) as they had been warned but the sentence of death did not stop with Adam and Eve for it was sin which entered into them that brought death to them and the sin that entered into them and brought to death to them was then passed down to all of mankind because it is from Adam and Eve all mankind descend and because we are all descended from them, we have also inherited from them the very sin that entered into them (Rom. 5:12) and just as they died because of sin, so we all die because of sin; (Rom. 6:23) sin being defined not by just our actions, behavior, conduct, and what we say, but as the inwardly corrupt condition of our nature that not only influences our outward acts and what we say, but also our very thoughts, motives, and the attitude of the heart which is why it is written that we are not defiled from without but from within (Mt. 5:11, 17-20) but the consequences of the transgression that brought sin into the world and death with it did not confine themselves to man but spread to all creation which is why it is written that the creation groans and travails in pain to this day (Rom. 8:19-22) and it is the reason why suffering, pain, misery, and hardship of every sort and severity abound in the world today and why creation itself is dying a very slow death which means when a plant or animal goes extinct, it is never replaced and when a star burns out or explodes, no new ones are forming.  It is also the reason why we have earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, and forest fires, extreme and even unnatural weather conditions and not only did the disobeying of that one simple command subjugate the world to sin and death and all of creation to the curse that has come upon it because of sin, it also gave that lying spirit who led Adam and Eve into that disobedience which brought sin and death into the world and a curse upon all of creation justification to claim lordship over the kingdoms and nations of the world (Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7) which is why he is called the prince of this world. (Jn. 12:31, 16:11)

It was that very lie that led Adam and Eve into eating of the fruit that they were warned not to eat from that earned Satan the title of being the father of lies (Jn. 8:44) as it was the first known lie ever told and it was by this lie that sin and death came into the world and to all of mankind which made Satan a murderer. (v. 44) It was also by this lie that Satan diminished the dominion mandate initially given to man (Gen. 1:26) which made him a thief and not just a thief, but the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (Jn. 10:10) for ever since that fateful day, the world has been a place in which death, destruction, and all kinds, severities, and degrees of pain, suffering, anguish, and misery abound and it is by these things that it is held captive due to sin entering into the world by a lie and every lie that has followed after it and if one lie led the world into an unprecedented bondage, then it is kept in bondage by lies and there is only one thing that can set this world free and that is truth (Jn. 8:32) and what is this truth by which we are set free? It is the truth that God, in His mercy and in His love for mankind, is not willing that any should perish and be eternally damned but that all would come to repentance and be redeemed out of their sins, (2 Pet. 3:9) and for our redemption, He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who is Himself God, (Jn. 1:1) into the world to take away the sins of the world (Jn. 3:16) which He did by offering Himself up to death; the sinless Christ (2 Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15) dying on behalf for sinful, thereby serving as that needed perfect sacrifice (Heb. 7:26-27) needed to purchase our redemption which was purchased by the death of Christ upon the cross on which He was crucified  and after having purchased our redemption by His death, He was raised again from the dead so that we by our faith in Him would be justified in Him (Rom. 4:25) so that any calling upon Him for the forgiveness of sins in sincere faith and repentance would be justified before God the Father by Him and in Him (Rom. 10:13) and with the redemption of our souls comes a transformation (2 Cor. 5:17) that causes us to no longer desire to follow after selfish and worldly pursuits but after those things that pertain to the Kingdom of Heaven, (Mt. 6:33)
to no longer take pleasure in those things that are evil and displeasing in the sight of the Lord, but in that which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
to no longer desire to walk in the lies of this present world, but only in the truth that comes from Christ Almighty, (Jn. 14:6) no longer placing our hopes in the things of this present world, but looking forward to that new and better world to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to no longer rely on worldly resources, men, or even our own power, abilities, skills, and wisdom for our needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet all of our needs, (Mt. 6:25-33) recognizing that the resources of this world and even the people He brings into our lives are but instruments and vessels through which God meets our needs and that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which we might acquire our provision are provided and instilled in us by God,
to no longer fear what men can do to us, but rather fearing the God before whom we will have to one day give an account for how we lived our lives, (Mt. 10:28)
to no longer look to corruptible institutions within our society for direction and order in our lives but to God who, by His written Word has given us laws and precepts to be applied to our lives and which serve to produce and maintain an ordered life, and who, by His Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon repentance, establishes in our lives a course and direction in our lives to pursue for His glory,
to no longer seek our own glory but the glory of God,
to no longer rally behind corruptible men, but instead behind the incorruptible God in Heaven bearing in mind that those men and women God raises up for our edification are but instruments and servants of His for that respective purpose to which He has called them,
to no longer seek to align ourselves with the things of darkness but only with the things of the light,
to no longer trust in the wisdom of the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge that comes from above, nor depend on corruptible earthly authorities to swiftly administer justice, but only in the power of God to deliver us from evil.

It is this inward transformation in Christ Jesus that has the power to not only change lives for the better, but also the power to change entire households, neighborhoods, communities, states, provinces, and entire nations and the more people embrace this liberating and transformative truth which is Christ Jesus, the weaker the power of Satan becomes which is why he does all that he can to keep those who might otherwise embrace it from ever knowing and experiencing the truth that sets us free and with the redemption of our souls we also look forward to the day when, just as our souls have been redeemed and delivered from eternal damnation, we shall also be delivered from bodily death when that which is sinful is made sinless and that which is corruptible is transformed into that which is incorruptible (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) for wherein dwells no sin there is no death and finally, creation itself will also be liberated from the curse that has come upon it because of sin when the adversary of our souls faces his final defeat and receives his final sentence when he and all who have sided with him are forever cast away into a lake of fire which burns forever and ever (Rev. 20:10-15) and after that has been done, the creation will be made anew, and it will be a creation in which there will dwell no death, no decay, no evil, no darkness, no grief, no sorrow, and no misery, and no hardship, but only light, life, happiness, peace, contentment, and joy before the Lord God Almighty for all eternity. (Rev. 21-22)

If you desire to be a part of a new and better world to come and have not done so already, then I urge you reader to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus who is the source of all truth for the forgiveness of sins.  It is but a sincere prayer of repentance away.

"Lord Jesus I need you.

I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.

Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.

Amen."

Know that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
