Stacey Plaskett Does Not Know What Censorship Is

Anti-Christ DEM congressional representative Stacey Plaskett once stated:

Well, you know, first of all, they wanna talk about censorship. That anytime you point out untruths, you’re censoring, you’re stopping people from speaking. It’s not that we’re not stopping people from speaking [sic], people can speak, but we’re also going to give the American people the truth so that they can have science and facts and history against wild, outlandish claims that the Republicans are trying to get. That’s not only going to keep them from going to the polls or suppressing vote or telling untruths, but is also really very detrimental to the American people [1]

Plaskett clearly does not know what censorship is or she was attempting to make censorship out to be what it isn’t.  No one is claiming that pointing out untruths is censorship.  Exposing and discrediting lies is not censorship as that in and of itself is not going to stop people from repeating the lies even after they have been soundly discredited.

Censorship, as we all should know, is the act of controlling what people can say or cannot say; it is the act of suppressing and silencing unfavorable opinions, ideas, and worldviews which come in many forms:

Being banned from social media platforms and if not directly banned, at least shadow-banned,
Blocking certain internet sites or the internet altogether,
Social ostracization, intimidation, and even violence,
And civic punishments and threats thereof which can include fines, imprisonment, and worse even death

Those who are on the side of truth feel no need to silence or crush dissent as they believe that any opinion, idea, doctrine, creed, philosophy, or even religion will stand or fall on its own merits when subject to scrutiny and truth need not fear scrutiny as it is confident that it can withstand any challenge and any scrutiny and it is not afraid to be challenge nor is it afraid of debate.

But lies fear scrutiny.  Lies fear being challenged.  And lies fear debate.

Which is why anyone who calls for censorship to any extent is never on the side of truth but only shows themselves to be on the side of lies.  Suppressing and silencing dissent does not make favored and official narratives more credible; if anything at all, such efforts should give cause to question official and favored narratives all the more and the motives behind the censorship.

For if they were on the side of truth, they would feel no need to silence or censor anyone as they would be confident that truth and facts will always be on their side on any given issue but those whose power is built upon lies will always feel the need to suppress anything that challenges their favored narratives and the narratives with which they seek to hold captive the minds and hearts of the masses with and that is what censorship does: Holding captive and in bondage hearts and minds and in all actuality, that is where captivity, bondage and tyranny begin; in the heart and in the mind and it begins with a lie and if bondage, oppression, and tyranny begin with a lie, then it can only be with truth that liberty begins because if lies take captive hearts, minds, and souls, then it is only truth that can set them free and in order to hold what has been taken captive, that which is built on lies must carry out censorship because if that which is built upon lies fails to censor anything that might challenge and expose the lies for what they are, or if its attempts at censorship are bypassed and even thwarted, then the lies upon which it is established are exposed and soundly discredited, then it will lose hold of the minds, hearts, and souls that it took captive, and lose the power and influence that it once had.

That which is built upon lies is tasked, by whatever means necessary, with suppressing anything that might challenge and discredit those lies because it is by holding captive minds, hearts, and souls that its power is maintained and that is exactly what those whose power and influence is built upon lies will do which is why it is imperative and incumbent upon those who are on the side of truth to, by whatever means necessary, thwart, bypass, and circumvent all attempts at censorship and even silence all calls for censorship because our freedoms depend on our ability to counter and stop all attempts at censorship as censorship has never been conducive to a free society and never will be.  Only free and unfettered speech is.

But those who call for and demand censorship are not just opposed to opinions, ideas, and worldviews with which they may be at odds; they are at war with freedom itself which means they are also at war with anything that produces freedom and that includes truth itself because it is truth that sets free. (Jn. 8:32)

And what is it that truth sets free? The mind, the heart, and the soul.  And what it is it that the mind, heart, and the soul need to be set free from? They need to be set free from a bondage unseen that does not necessarily come in the form of chains, prisons, or an excess of laws and regulation; all of which are but symptomatic of a bondage that does not reside from without, but from within and it is a bondage into which we are all born but without even knowing that we are in bondage and not only is it a captivity and a bondage into which are born unawares, but it is also a bondage and captivity that, if not liberated from, will lead into a darkness and a torment beyond comprehension but it is a bondage that was never meant to be, because the very source of truth (Jn. 14:6) who is also the very source of our liberty who is the Lord God who made the heavens and the earth created the world to be a place of perfect liberty and it was a place in which there was only light, life, happiness, peace, and contentment and it was a world in which existed an uninterrupted harmony between God, man, and nature until the source of captivity, bondage, and oppression entered into the world in the form of a serpent and began its work with a lie and the lie that it began its work with began with a fruit from a certain tree called the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that the first man Adam and the first woman Eve were told by God to not eat from, having been warned that in the day that they ate thereof, they would surely die. (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3)

And the lie that was told to Adam and to Eve that if they ate of that fruit which was forbidden them that they would not surely die but that they would receive knowledge and wisdom that they never had before and even attain a status superior to that in which they were created (Gen. 3:4-5) and when they had eaten of that forbidden fruit, the only knowledge that they received was a shame that came upon their nakedness (Gen. 3:7) and instead of avoiding the sentence of death, the sentence of death was pronounced upon them just as they had been warned. (Gen. 3:19)

And the one responsible for telling this lie which caused Adam and Eve to commit that fateful  transgression which brought upon them the sentence of death to which they eventually succumbed was once a covering cherub named Lucifer who had served at the throne of God until the day that he became so lifted up in his pride that he thought that he could become equal to God and share in glory that belonged to God alone which consequently resulted in him and all who sided with him to be cast from their positions in Heaven (Is. 14:11-21, Ezek. 28:12-19) and it was in that day that Lucifer became known as Satan or the Devil and it was he who was that very serpent who deceived Adam and Eve into committing that very transgression, that very act of disobedience that brought death to them and it was that very lie of the serpent that made Satan the father of lies (Jn. 8:44) as it was the first known lie ever told and not only did that lie make Satan the father of lies, but it also made him a murderer (v. 44) because it was that very lie that led Adam and Eve into the eating of that forbidden fruit which brought upon them the sentence of death for it was in that day that when Adam and Eve had eaten of that forbidden fruit that sin entered into them and when sin entered into them, the sentence of death came upon them by way of the sin that entered into to them, but the sentence of death did not stop with Adam and Eve for it was in that day when Adam and Eve ate of that forbidden fruit that sin entered into them and from them, the sin which entered into them and brought about their eventual deaths, was also passed down to all of mankind for all of us are descendants of that first man and that first woman and because we are their descendants, we have also inherited the sin that entered into them (Rom. 5:12) and because of that sin which we have inherited, we all sin in some form or fashion and as a consequence we all die for as it is written, the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23) but sin is not merely confined to outward behavior or performance or even the words we speak, but it is rather the inherent inward corruption of our very nature defiling our thoughts, hardening and darkening our hearts, and corrupting our very motives which is why it is written that we are not defiled from that which comes from without, but that which comes from within (Mt. 15:11, 18-20) and which is why it is written that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23) which demands of us nothing less than moral perfection and not just in our outward acts but also in our inward as well which is why it is impossible by our own efforts and our own goodness to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, for sin taints, corrupts, defiles, twists, and distorts more than we can comprehend and the effects of sin are not merely confined to mankind, but all of creation is subjected to a curse because of sin which is why it is written that the entire creation groans and travails in pain to this day (Rom. 8:19-22) and not only did the transgression of Adam bring sin, death, and suffering into the world, it also made Satan justified in claiming lordship over all the nations, kingdoms, and empires of the earth, (Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7) which is why he is called the prince of this world (Jn. 12:31, 16:11) and has held the world captive ever since the transgression of Adam, overseeing its slow, painful, and agonizing decay and destruction.

By a lie did bondage to sin and death come into the world.
By a lie was creation itself subject to a curse due to sin.
By a lie was the dominion mandate initially given to mankind (Gen. 1:26) diminished and usurped.
And worst of all, by a lie was a separation between God and man placed due to sin and it is by lies that men are kept out of the Kingdom of Heaven to this day and it is lies that lead multitudes of souls into an eternity of perpetual darkness and an everlasting and unrelenting torment.

And it is by lies that Satan steals, kills, and destroys (Jn. 10:10) and it is by lies that he oppresses and holds captive multitudes of souls and in order to liberate souls from a damnation of which they may not even be aware, they first have to know what it is that is holding them captive and which is leading them on a road to Hell itself because in order for them to be persuaded of their need for redemption and liberation, they first have to know that they are lost because once they understand how lost they are and the eternal danger that they face, it is only then that they might be persuaded to come to repentance and receive deliverance and redemption that God lovingly and mercifully offers to any who will turn away from their sins and surrender themselves to His authority because God is not willing that any should perish in their sins and face eternal damnation, (2 Pet. 3:9) but that all would come to repentance and therefore has done for us what we could never do for ourselves in that He, in His graciousness has purchased redemption on our behalf in Christ Jesus, His only begotten Son, (Jn. 3:16) who came to us in the flesh, (Jn. 1:14) and being without any sin (2 Cor. 5:21) was made that perfect sacrifice (Heb. 7:26-27) that was needed to take away the sins of the world and because of His perfect goodness, He was able to offer Himself up on our behalf to satisfy the demanded penalty for all sin and granting mercy and grace through the shedding of His blood on the cross and after having died, rose again from the dead three days later that we might be justified in Him (Rom. 4:25) if we will but call upon His name so that we might be saved from what would otherwise be a terrifying everlasting punishment if we will but call upon His name (Rom. 10:9, 13) and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Rom. 10:9) for it is by calling upon His name in sincere repentance that salvation is granted and our souls made clean from sin thereby liberating us from the threat of eternal damnation and with that cleansing comes a new spiritual transformation (2 Cor. 5:17) that causes us to no longer desire to follow after selfish and worldly pursuits but after those things that pertain to the Kingdom of Heaven,
to no longer take pleasure in those things that are evil and displeasing in the sight of the Lord, but in that which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
to no longer desire to walk in the lies of this present world, but only in the truth that comes from Christ Almighty who is the source of all truth, (Jn. 14:6)
no longer placing our hopes in the things of this present world, but looking forward to that new and better world to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to no longer rely on worldly resources, men, or even our own power, abilities, skills, and wisdom for our needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet all of our needs, recognizing that the resources of this world and even the people He brings into our lives are but instruments and vessels through which God meets our needs and that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which we might acquire our provision are provided and instilled in us by God, (Mt. 6:25-33)
to no longer fear what men can do to us, but rather fearing the God before whom we will have to one day give an account for how we lived our lives, (Mt. 10:28)
to no longer look to corruptible institutions within our society for direction and order in our lives but to God who, by His written Word has given us laws and precepts to be applied to our lives and which serve to produce and maintain an ordered life, and who, by His Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon repentance, establishes in our lives a course and direction in our lives to pursue for His glory,
to no longer seek our own glory but the glory of God,
to no longer rally behind corruptible men, but instead behind the incorruptible God in Heaven bearing in mind that those men and women God raises up for our edification are but instruments and servants of His for that respective purpose to which He has called them,
to no longer seek to align ourselves with the things of darkness but only with the things of the light,
to no longer trust in the wisdom of the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge that comes from above, (Jas. 1:5) nor depend on corruptible earthly authorities to swiftly administer justice, but only in the power of God to deliver us from evil.

And just as we have been redeemed spiritually, so one day we look forward to the liberation of our bodies from death itself when our mortal and corruptible forms are transformed into that which is immortal and incorruptible and from that which is imperfect to that which is perfect (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) and lastly, creation itself will be delivered from the curse placed upon it because of sin when it is made into a new and better world (Rev. 21-22) and liberated from the hand of our adversary Satan, who presently claims dominion, when he is given his final sentence and cast into an everlasting tormenting fire prepared for him and his followers (Mt. 25:41, Rev. 20:10-15) and in that new world which will be made, there will be no sin, no death, no decay, nor any curse, nor any evil, or violence, suffering, misery, grief, sorrow, mourning, pain, or hardship of any sort for all of these will pass away with this present world.  Instead, there will only be light, life, happiness, joy, contentment, peace, and rest before the Lord God Almighty.

This is the very truth that brings freedom (Jn. 8:32) and not only does it bring freedom, but it also brings an unfailing hope, purpose, and meaning to this present life and it is the very truth that Satan wars against every day and it is that very truth that he attempts to suppress by any and all means possible which means, he will suppress anything that might lead souls to that very truth by which they are set free from eternal damnation, spiritual darkness, hopelessness, and even an empty existence and that is what efforts to censor certain ideas, opinions, and information is all about; to keep mankind from entering into the Kingdom of Heaven and on the road to eternal damnation because without censorship, the lies that hold souls captive would be easily discredited and defeated and to such an extent as to leave all who then hear the truth that sets free, which is the Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ, and the case and defense that is made for it, without any excuse for rejecting it.

But those who are calling for censorship and attempting to censor don’t want people to be able to make an informed decision as to whether to side with Heaven or Hell as the spirit behind calls for censorship and all attempts at censorship seeks hold as many souls as he can captive by blinding as many as he can to that very truth that sets free and brings salvation to the soul that would otherwise be damned to Hell for all eternity which is why any who would call for censorship or attempt to censor is serving as an instrument of Satan.

And if you don’t want to be an instrument of Satan whose rule and authority is built upon lies which he maintains through various forms of censorship, then not only should you seek to be a speaker and champion of truth, but you should also stand opposed to censorship of any kind in any form because censorship hinders the spread and receiving of truth and those claiming that censorship is done to preserve truth are lying.  Censorship doesn’t preserve truth.  It only preserves lies.  Truth flourishes best when there is no censorship which means the Gospel of Jesus Christ also flourishes best when it is given free course.

Authority has not been given to any man or any power to silence any form of thought, idea, opinion, or to withhold any information from public knowledge.  That is reserved for God alone and for the time being, it is always best to allow ideas, opinions, and different forms of thought to be disseminated, exchanged, and civilly debated freely and to even freely compete against one another.

A day is coming when the lies that fill this world will be silenced once and for all and when there will be a world in which only truth will dwell and reign but that requires an act of God and not man.  Until that day, all that a man can do is to be a faithful steward of the truth with which he has been entrusted, to faithfully preach it, and to persuade as many as he can to embrace truth and to abide in it, and to be ready to make a sound defense for the truth and to earnestly contend for it when necessary.

If you have not done so already and wish to be on the side of truth and not on the side of lies, then I urge you reader to call upon the name of the one who is the way, the truth, and the life (Jn. 14:6) and who is that very truth that sets free (Jn. 8:32) for the forgiveness of sins and surrender yourself to His authority.  It is but a simple prayer of repentance away:

"Lord Jesus I need you.

I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.

Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.

Amen."

Know that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
