From now until July fourth, I am going to be doing something different with my blog in that I will be posting each day a prayer for our nation from each state within our nation and for those of you out there who do not know what that is all about. The Reverend Franklin Graham began fifty days of prayer on May 15, one prayer for our nation a day from a representative from each state until the fiftieth day.
I will still continue
writing and publishing my normal posts and other material as consistently as I
possibly can. For more information about
the fifty days of prayer visit the following:

And for those of
you who have not been able to watch the initial airing of the rededication of
our nation to the God upon whom it was founded, visit the following at:

I will probably repost
an encore presentation of it on July fourth as a reminder of what the real
source of our liberty and independence is.
Here are the
transcripts from the past three days:
Day 1: From Jim Lowe of Birmingham, Alabama:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4W49f2QVJo
“Hello, I'm Jim
Lowe of Birmingham, Alabama, representing the state of Alabama. Let us pray.
Heavenly Father,
we humble ourselves before You today and pray on behalf of this nation. A
nation founded 250 years ago by wise, prudent, and God-fearing men, who, having
studied the rise and fall of mankind’s civilization up to that time, endeavored
to build a nation based upon Biblical principles, recognizing that there are
truths that are self-evident, that all men are created equal and endowed by You
with certain inalienable rights. And governments are instituted among men to
secure those God-given rights.
Lord, now we pray
for every current leader in this nation, that You remind them of the principles
of our Founding Fathers, declared in our Declaration of Independence, and help
them uphold them.
Strengthen them to
support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies,
foreign and domestic, so that this country might remain strong, and help them
to value the rights of the people above party, special interests, or personal gain.
And Father, as
Your Word declares, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” May this
nation's leaders and its people honor You and recognize You once again, as it
has so many times in the past.
And as there are
those who have desire to make America great again, I pray that we realize we
cannot be great again until we unite to make America godly again.
We ask these
things in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
May the Lord bless
you and keep you.”

Day 2: From Pastor Ron Huffman of Mountain City
Church in Anchorage, Alaska:
Hey, everyone. I’m
Pastor Ron Hoffman, here from Mountain City Church in Anchorage, Alaska, and
we’re so excited to be able to pray for this year’s 250th celebration of this
incredible nation. Let’s pray.
Father, we thank
You for Your goodness to us.
Lord, we thank You
for Your love for us, we thank You for this great nation, the USA.
Lord, You have set
this nation aside to be a beacon of hope, a beacon of light to the rest of the
world.
Lord, we are a
nation who falls under You, that submits to Your authority.
Lord, I pray that
we would be a nation who continue to make a difference throughout the entire
world.
That we would
proclaim Your truth, Your Gospel.
And Lord, we thank
You for it.
Lord, I pray for
our president. Lord, I pray for our House, for our Senate, for our Supreme
Court.
Lord, I pray that
Your hand would be upon them, that they would rule us in fear of You.
But I pray that
we’d be a nation of freedom and liberty and justice for all.
Lord, I pray that
we would be a nation who makes a difference. That we would wake up every day
saying, “How can we change the world and make it a better place, one that
reflects Your glory and who You are?”
We ask this in
Jesus’ precious Name, amen and amen.

Day 3: Pastor Josue Castro of Iglesia Cristiana
Tierra Fértil in Yuma, Arizona:
“Hi, I am Pastor
Josue Castro, and I live in Arizona, the state of the Grand Canyon. Let’s pray
together.
Lord, we come
before Your presence in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, thanking You because
You are God—the God of the nations, the Lord of our cities, the King over every
authority and every town. Today, we lift up before You the cities of the United
States. Father, have mercy on every community, every neighborhood, and every
family. You know the needs and struggles of every inhabitant of this nation.
Today, we ask You,
Father, to extend Your hand over our mayors, community leaders, and public
servants. Please, Lord, give them wisdom, integrity, discernment, and the fear
of God to govern with justice and compassion.
We pray for peace
in our streets, for unity among communities, and for protection over our
families, our youth, and our children. May all violence, division, and
corruption flee before the power of Your presence, Lord.
Father, we pray
for a spiritual awakening in this nation, that hearts would return to You and
that homes would be restored. Lord, may a new generation come to know Your love
and Your salvation.
Father, we know
that our cities belong to You and that we will see Your glory manifested on
this earth.
We pray for the
United States in the powerful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
God bless you.”
