Earlier
in the year, I wrote about how paleontologists discovered how the Cambrian
explosion extended to layers below the Cambrian layers; those layers known as
the Ediacaran period which, according to evolutionists, began 635 million years
ago followed by the Cambrian period which they claim began 538 million years ago.

The
Cambrian layers are best known for the sudden appearance of a diversity of incredibly
complex organisms without any lead up to their appearance which has long
baffled evolutionists. Now,
evolutionists have been attempting to trace at what point the origins of animal
life actually began with some believing that animals might have originated as
early as roughly 1 to 2 billion years ago [2] despite admitting they do not have any
concrete evidence supporting that hypothesis.
Evolutionists,
of course, believe that the first forms of animal life were bacterial and
microscopic in nature and despite admitting that they have no concrete evidence
to support their hypothesis of animal origins arising 1 to 2 billion years ago,
they base this claim on the presence chemical fossils [3] and lipid
biomarkers [4-5]
but
they confess that even chemical fossils and biomarkers are not enough to
determine at what point animals originated.
As
early as the Ediacaran period, anything recognizably animal appears suddenly. There is no fossil record of a transition
from bacterial to non-bacterial but evolutionists seem to take on faith that
animals must have originated as early in history as 1 to 2 billion years ago;
their explanation for why animals are absent from the earliest layers of what
they deem to be the history of the earth is due to conditions in those
particular layers not being suitable for fossilization, but then again, if that
goes for the earliest layers of the geologic column, then that also goes for
any given layers in the column and biomarkers, chemical fossils, and
microfossils of whatever sort they may, since these are all of a substance that
is soft, cannot be explained by uniformitarian processes which are taught as
being slow and gradual, but only by rapid formation regardless of what proposed
preservation processes may take place.
But
how is taking on faith that the first forms of animal life evolving billions of
years ago any different than taking on faith that all animals were created by
God on the fifth and sixth days of creation as recorded in the book of Genesis
(Gen. 1:20-25) and that He had created them to reproduce after their own kinds
and not evolve into something that is not after their own kind?
The
evolutionists don’t demand concrete evidence for believing that animals originated
at some point in history, and yet they have the audacity to deem belief in the
existence of God as being incompatible with science while they themselves
cannot explain how the universe can only be the product of random processes that
cannot think or plan because they, to this day, have not been able to provide
any mechanism to how the universe came into existence by chance instead of a
conscious act and if they cannot explain that, then nothing else matters because
if they cannot tell us what ignited the big bang or where the condensed energy necessary
for the igniting of the big bang came from, then they will never be able to have
an adequate explanation for how the planets and stars were formed, what holds
them together and in their places, or how time and random processes knew
exactly where in the universe to place the earth, the distance that it needed
to be from the sun in order to be suitable for life, what atmospheric
conditions were necessary for life, the distance the moon needed to be from the
earth to keep the tides regulated, how life came from non-life, and how all
things were formed with such intricate details that I personally cannot
describe myself and in the manner needed for them to live, function, and thrive
in the manner that they were intended to.
Science
can only tell us about the present and how things presently operate, but it
cannot really tell us what happened in the past or how things operated in the
past in comparison today; that is what history is for and yet evolutionists seem
to conflate the two and call it science.
Neither evolutionists nor creationists can repeat the past or replicate
the origins of life (evolutionists keep trying however) but creationists are
willing to admit that since the origins of life cannot be replicated that the
Genesis account of creation must be taken on some measure of faith and while
the evolutionists may scoff at believing in divine or supernatural
intervention, in the end, whether they will admit it or not, they also must
take on faith that the universe came into existence by way of unthinking and
unplanning processes over a gradual and very long period of time but where the
debate centers around is which faith best fits the facts.
Both
sides have the same evidence before them, but both sides are going to interpret
the evidence according to their own respective presupposition. If a
creationist were to examine the Cambrian, Ediacaran, and earlier rock layers,
they would deduce that upon the sudden appearance of animal life without a
trace of preceding ancestry, that they were created very quickly, even in an
instant and they would also deduce that the remains of the animals could only
be preserved by rapid processes and not processes slow and gradual and
especially since most Cambrian and virtually all Pre-Cambrian organisms are
soft-bodied creatures.
The
evolutionist, upon examining the Cambrian layers and the layers before it will
notice the sudden appearance of the fossilized remains of incredibly complex
life forms. He will insist that they evolved
from much more simpler life forms, but cannot tell what preceding forms of life
from which he believes the late Ediacaran and Cambrian life forms had evolved
because there is lacking any record of a transition from single-celled
organisms, to immensely more complex organism, even though he believes that there
must somehow be.
The
Ediacaran-Cambrian explosion has posed one of the greatest challenges to biological
evolution but rather than concede that the theory of evolution may be flawed,
evolutionists will continue to look for anything that will provide them with an
answer to the challenges that they cannot answer. They will do anything to avoid admitting that
there is a God in Heaven by whom all things are made and who is the source of
all things which makes Him the definer of reality, the source of truth, justice,
law, and order who has determined what is good and what is evil, and before
whom all will have to give an account for all that they have said and done in
this present life because they hate and despise submitting to a divine
authority who will hold them accountable for everything they say and do which
is why they will cling to anything they think might discredit all theistic
religions, even if they cannot produce any solid evidence supporting the
theories and conjectures they hold to because they take too much pleasure in
the things that are evil and displeasing in the eyes of God which is why for
them, their reasons for rejecting the existence of God has nothing to do with
evidence but with the attitude of the heart.
For
those who are resolved to reject the authority of their Creator, no amount of
evidence in favor of the Gospel and in favor of the authority, inerrancy, and
divine inspiration of scripture (2 Tim. 3:16) is ever going to persuade them to
repentance and they will always seek for new ways and come up with new lies,
deceptions, and fabrications to discredit the Gospel of salvation in the hearts
and minds of as many people as possible because those who insist on setting
themselves at enmity with their Creator are already in the service of the
father of lies (Jn. 8:44) who, before he became the father of lies, was once an
angelic being named Lucifer who served as a covering cherub at the throne of God
until the day that he became so lifted up in pride that he thought he could
make himself equal to God (Is. 14:11-21, Ezek. 28:12-19) which ended with him
and those who sided with him against God being cast from the places in Heaven
they once held, and it was in that day that Lucifer became better known as
Satan or the Devil and after his defeat in Heaven, he then took his war against
God to the newly created world that God had made which was a good world in
which there existed a perfect uninterrupted harmony between God, man, and
nature and in which there was no death, no suffering, no pain, nor evil, nor
any grief, sorrow, anguish, or hardship of any sort, until the day that Satan entered
into that world in the form of a serpent and deceived the first man Adam and
his wife Eve into committing an astronomically fateful and consequential act of
disobedience which was the eating of a certain fruit from a tree called the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil, having been warned of God beforehand that in
the day that they ate thereof, they would surely die (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3) but
Satan who came to them in the form of a serpent falsely assured them that the
eating of that fruit would not bring death to them as they had been warned and
deceived them into thinking that the eating of that fruit would cause them to
attain to greater heights (Gen. 3:4-5) and when they had eaten of that
forbidden fruit, instead of attaining to greater heights, they were reduced to
a lesser status and the only thing that to which they had been enlightened was
the shame that had come upon their nakedness (Gen. 3:7) and instead of being
spared the sentence of death that they had been warned of, that very sentence
of death for their disobedience was pronounced upon them just as they had been
warned (Gen. 3:19) and the lie that led Adam and Eve into that disobedience was
the first lie that was ever known to be told which would from that day forth be
followed by a multitude of other lies and it was that very lie told that made
Satan who told that lie the father of lies (Jn. 8:44) and it was by that lie
that he led Adam and Eve into the very transgression that would bring upon them
the sentence of death of which they had been warned but the consequences of
their disobedience did not stop with just Adam and Eve because the sin that
entered into them when they had eaten of that forbidden fruit and which brought
upon them the sentence of death was then passed down to the rest of humanity
because it is from Adam and Eve that all of mankind descends and because we are
all descendants of Adam and Eve, we inherit within ourselves the sin that
entered into them (Rom. 5:12) and just as they had eventually died to the sin
that entered into them, so we too die as well because of the sin that we
inherited from them which is why it is written that the wages of sin is death
(Rom. 6:23) and because we all sin, we all die, but the consequences of the
transgression do not stop with even mankind because the touch of sin taints,
defiles, perverts, corrupts, and destroys all that it touches; such is its
pervasiveness which is why the entire creation groans and travails in pain to
this very day (Rom. 8:19-22) and the reason for why the death, suffering,
grief, sorrow, decay, hardship, evil, and pain that we witness and experience
abound in the world today and it is by sin and death that Satan reigns over
this present world and by sin and death does he come to steal, kill, and
destroy (Jn. 10:10) and it is due to the transgression of Adam that Satan is
given justification for claiming lordship over the people, nations, kingdoms,
and empires of the world (Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7) which is why he is called the
prince of this world (Jn. 12:31, 16:11) and it is upon lies that he builds and
maintains his power and it is only truth that weakens and shatters his power
which is why Satan will do all in his power and use every resource at his
disposal to suppress anything that will discredit the very lies with which he
poisons every mind and heart that he can and takes captive every soul that he
can because truth detoxifies the mind, cleanses the heart, and sets free the
captive soul (Jn. 8:32) and the truth that does this is the truth that God is
not willing that any should perish but that all come to repentance, (2 Pet. 3:9)
even though not all do, and because He is not willing that any be eternally
damned, He, in His love and in His mercy, has done for us what we could never
do for ourselves in that He has purchased redemption on our behalf in Christ
Jesus, His only begotten Son, (Jn. 3:16) who came to us in the flesh, (Jn.
1:14) and being without any sin (2 Cor. 5:21) was made that perfect sacrifice
(Heb. 7:26-27) that was needed to take away the sins of the world and because
of His perfect goodness, He was able to offer Himself up on our behalf to
satisfy the demanded penalty for all sin and granting mercy and grace through
the shedding of His blood on the cross and after having died, rose again from
the dead three days later that we might be justified in Him (Rom. 4:25) if we
will but call upon His name so that we might be saved from what would otherwise
be a terrifying everlasting punishment if we will but call upon His name (Rom.
10:9, 13) and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Rom.
10:9) for it is by calling upon His name in sincere repentance that salvation
is granted and our souls made clean from sin thereby liberating us from the
threat of eternal damnation and with that cleansing comes a new spiritual
transformation (2 Cor. 5:17) that causes us to no longer desire to follow after
selfish and worldly pursuits but after those things that pertain to the Kingdom
of Heaven,
to
no longer take pleasure in those things that are evil and displeasing in the
sight of the Lord, but in that which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
to
no longer desire to walk in the lies of this present world, but only in the
truth that comes from Christ Almighty who is the source of all truth, (Jn.
14:6)
no
longer placing our hopes in the things of this present world, but looking
forward to that new and better world to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to
no longer rely on worldly resources, men, or even our own power, abilities,
skills, and wisdom for our needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet
all of our needs, recognizing that the resources of this world and even the
people He brings into our lives are but instruments and vessels through which
God meets our needs and that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which
we might acquire our provision are provided and instilled in us by God, (Mt.
6:25-33)
to
no longer fear what men can do to us, but rather fearing the God before whom we
will have to one day give an account for how we lived our lives, (Mt. 10:28)
to
no longer look to corruptible institutions within our society for direction and
order in our lives but to God who, by His written Word has given us laws and
precepts to be applied to our lives and which serve to produce and maintain an
ordered life, and who, by His Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon
repentance, establishes in our lives a course and direction in our lives to
pursue for His glory,
to
no longer seek our own glory but the glory of God,
to
no longer rally behind corruptible men, but instead behind the incorruptible
God in Heaven bearing in mind that those men and women God raises up for our
edification are but instruments and servants of His for that respective purpose
to which He has called them,
to
no longer seek to align ourselves with the things of darkness but only with the
things of the light,
to
no longer trust in the wisdom of the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge
that comes from above, (Jas. 1:5) nor depend on corruptible earthly authorities
to swiftly administer justice, but only in the power of God to deliver us from
evil.
And
that is the very truth that Satan has from the beginning fought and still
continues to fight against, suppressing that truth and anything that might lead
any soul he holds captive by any means that he can and the
lies that he uses to deceive hearts and minds into disbelief in the Gospel of
salvation are many; the theory of evolution being just one of them and which Satan
has used to great and devastating effect, casting a blindness in the minds and
hearts to the Gospel of Jesus Christ by which any who would believe in it will
be saved out of their sins and delivered from eternal damnation, by making out
what is not scientific to be scientific and what would otherwise be regarded as
foolish to seem like wisdom and in such a way that it has even caused those who
have professed to be of the saving faith to question and doubt the Gospel message
by which they were saved by casting in their hearts and minds doubting of the
authority, account, and teachings of the very scriptures by which the Gospel
message is delivered which has resulted even in the overthrowing of the faith
of some and when his lies and deceptions are to no avail, and when his attempts
to lure professing saints into sin by which they will be disgraced fail, and
when he is unable to sow discord among those who enjoy unity with one another
in the Lord, he will then resort to various forms of persecution and threats
thereof ranging from ridicule and social ostracization, to discrimination and even
acts of violence and varying degrees of civic punishment ranging from financial
penalties to imprisonment and even death itself but the day is coming when
Satan’s rule over the earth will be put to an end; in fact the beginning of his
end began with the redeeming of our souls in Jesus Christ.
And
just as we have been redeemed spiritually, so one day we look forward to the
liberation of our bodies from death itself when our mortal and corruptible
forms are transformed into that which is immortal and incorruptible and from
that which is imperfect to that which is perfect (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess.
4:13-18) and lastly, creation itself will be delivered from the curse placed
upon it because of sin when it is made into a new and better world (Rev. 21-22)
and liberated from the hand of our adversary Satan, who presently claims
dominion, when he is given his final sentence and cast into an everlasting
tormenting fire prepared for him and his followers (Mt. 25:41, Rev. 20:10-15)
and in that new world which will be made, there will be no sin, no death, no
decay, nor any curse, nor any evil, or violence, suffering, misery, grief,
sorrow, mourning, pain, or hardship of any sort for all of these will pass away
with this present world. Instead, there
will only be light, life, happiness, joy, contentment, peace, and rest before
the Lord God Almighty.
If
you have not done so already and want to be sure that you are at peace with
your Creator, then I urge you reader to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus
for the forgiveness of sins. It is but a
simple sincere prayer of repentance away:
"Lord
Jesus I need you.
I
realize that I am a sinner
who
has fallen short of the glory of God
and
that my goodness falls short
of
your standard of Moral perfection.
Please
forgive me of all of my sins.
Come
into my heart and into my life
to
be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make
me into the servant and follower
that
you want me to be.
In
your name Lord Jesus, I pray.
Amen."
Know
that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him
forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all
sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in
Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven
and your place in Heaven is certain.
