More Than Just Political Reform

A commentary piece from the news and commentary site, American Greatness examines some reasons as to why some incumbent Presidents in recent history lost their bids for re-election, and while it doesn’t go into a detailed explanation into as to why they lost their bids for re-election, it does go into some reasons as to why George H.W. Bush lost his bid for re-election in 1992 which had to do with internal conflicts from within his own party which has also been a common factor in other failed presidential re-election campaigns, though not necessarily the reason why they lost.  So what does the possible reasons for failed past political campaigns have to do anything?  Because it all has to do with why President Trump allegedly lost to the Biden creature
and as informative as the commentary piece is, we know that Trump did not lose for the reasons that previous incumbent presidents have lost their bids for re-election.  He was able to brilliantly overcome the internal obstacles, resistance and divisions within his own party in a way that other previous presidents were perhaps not able to [1] and in such a way that it can be safely said that any internal resistance and obstacles had nothing to do with his loss to the Biden creature nor did his loss have anything to with either his foreign and domestic policies by which our nation benefited but for a reason that in so far as we know never contributed to the loss of a presidential election at any time in our history until now as irrefutable data, testimony, and documentation have shown that he didn’t really lose to the Biden creature at all, but rather was cheated out of his win and as the end of the piece states, the anti-Christ party did NOT let the COVID crisis go to waste, but rather exploited it to its own ends, not at the federal level, but at the state and local levels to instill unnecessary panic within multitudes driving them into compliance with regulations that had nothing to do with public health and safety which became more apparent as it was revealed that the COVID virus was no more or less dangerous than the seasonal flu.

All for a virus that is not much different from the flu, the economy was virtually brought to a grinding halt, jobs and livelihoods were lost, and many businesses, due to a massive loss in revenue, were forced to close permanently.  The elderly were deprived visitations from family members, loneliness and despair set in from lack of personal human contact leading to a rise in suicides, alcohol and drug abuse, and mental illness.

Many churches and places of worship, though not all, because they feared man more than God before whom all men must give an account, and sought to appease fearful men rather than focus on pleasing the God who created man and will one day judge him in accordance to everything that he has done in this life, good and bad, closed their doors and thought online worship services could serve as a substitute for in-person gatherings, shut people seeking for answers out of the kingdom of Heaven who might otherwise have come to repentance.

Thank God for those Pastors and clergymen who had the courage to keep their doors open to their congregants but shame on those who in their faithless cowardice, shut their doors instead of going about the business that the Church was established to do, and that is to lead as many people as possible to the one thing that is able to be a light to all in the midst of darkness, bring hope in the face of despair, comfort in affliction, peace in troubled times, and who is able to bring redemption to those who recognize their inherently corrupt and fallen nature and cleanse them from all unrighteousness, and who will one day put an end to all evil.

They who have closed their doors will have to give an account for the souls, who might have otherwise come to repentance, that they turned away.

And finally, the COVID enabled the anti-Christ party to exploit the weaknesses in our electoral security as such were compromised by the manner in which our ability to vote was affected and the cheating and fraud that took place was not just an isolated incident, but was nationwide costing us not only a legitimate presidential win, but also legitimate wins in the legislative branch in both chambers, and possibly in state and municipal branches of government as well.

As a result of this sophisticated fraudulent takeover by the Biden creature and the anti-Christ party, our economy is being crippled by rising energy costs, resources are becoming scarce due to a stalled supply chain, wasteful spending continues, the stock market is undergoing a bearish season, our enemies abroad have become emboldened against us and our allies, our national security has been compromised in more ways than one, our military leadership is more focused on social justice issues rather than combat readiness, innocent law-abiding citizens are being subjected to terrible injustices by our government, and our civil liberties and God-given rights that our Constitution was designed to protect, are under constant threat and are being violated by governing authorities at every level.

Granted that we may never be able to undo the fraudulent 2020 election results, but there are still measures at every level of government that can be taken to ensure that something like what took place never happens again but it takes electing as many of the right leaders and representatives willing to pass those necessary reforms and it is possible, that with the right leadership, after the coming November mid-term elections, that at least some of the damage done to this nation under the Biden creature administration can be undone, but it is going to take a lot more than political reform to deliver us from the various perils that we face.

It is going to take reform throughout all of society but a reform that goes beyond a mere outward and superficial reform, but a reform that is transformational and one that begins in the mind, heart, and soul of each and every one of us; a spiritual and moral transformation, but in order to be given reason to sincerely submit ourselves to this transformation, it is important that we understand what it is that we need to be transformed from and into, and not only that, but how we came to be in need of this inward transformation, why we need it, and how we can be transformed.

That a transformation is required of us testifies that we are inherently not what we are supposed to be by nature and that we became far removed from what we were meant to be, thus being the reason for the world being far removed from what it was originally intended to be.  How we became inherently contrary to what we were supposed to be can only be known by divine revelation which can only come about by an act of divine intervention for it is only by such divine intervention that the manner of this needed transformation can be known because the way to this transformation cannot come from any man who is subject to fallibility in his character, corruption in his nature, error and confusion in his understanding, and limited in his knowledge, wisdom, strength, power, and resourcefulness.

And since mankind is subject to fallibility, error, corruption, and limited in his abilities and attributes so then are those institutions established, operated, and maintained by the hands of men no matter how credible, reliable, respectable, and honorable they may seem but yet when their failures and shortcomings come to light and our eyes are then opened to the corruption and evil that infiltrates them, it is only then we find the need to call upon that which is incorruptible for guidance, order, provision, peace, purpose and meaning, protection and deliverance from that which would do us and all that which we hold dear harm, to avenge every injustice and evil done against us, comfort and hope in times of trouble, and even for a love and mercy that cannot come from any man.

For it is only from that which is infallible and incorruptible that we receive an unfailing hope, promises that are always fulfilled in their time, love that never fails, comfort that always uplifts and edifies us, laws and precepts that are perfect and designed for our good, and guidance that will always direct us in a way that is right and good and in which there is no deceit or oppression.

But to those who would be so quick to charge the incorruptible and inerrant Creator of the universe for the production of a world filled with evil, suffering, and corruption, I would offer this challenge:

Why would a God who is good create a world filled with evil?
Why would a God who takes pleasure in joy, peace and happiness produce a world in which suffering, grief, sorrow, violence, war, and pain of every kind abound?
Why would a God of life subject His creation to a reign of death and decay?
Why would a God whose rule of law and justice is perfect subjugate a people to authorities that are oppressive and unjust?

And to which there can only be two answers:

1.  Death and decay have always been a part of the natural process, however much pain and grief they may cause, that the Creator set in place and for reasons we’ve yet to understand, and that evils we experience and witness are somehow just part of a natural cycle.

2.  The world of death, decay, evil, and suffering in which we presently live was never what the Creator intended but was brought about by a bad action on the part of one or more of His creations.

Now, I am not prepared to discuss what the different theological and philosophical thoughts may be on this, but it is interesting to note that there has been a drive in humanity to attain a state of perfection or at least what they think to be a state of perfection.

Mankind wants to be free of suffering, death, and of anything that interferes with his pursuit of prosperity, peace, joy, and happiness.  Mankind desires a perfect life, a perfect world, a perfect economy, a perfect education, and a perfect government and how to achieve that, the answers and proposals tend to vary and are at odds with one another.

But one thing that all of mankind has in common is that men despise suffering and hardship.  They try to innovate various means to ease and even escape the suffering and hardship that we experience.  They are even trying relentlessly to overcome even death itself.  They seek to live in a peaceful, prosperous, and orderly society and to live under a just rulership designed to maintain the peace, prosperity, and order they see the need for and they have devised various systems in an attempt to achieve this and granted some of those systems have shown themselves to work better than others towards those means.

Men do not want to live in misery, they do not want to be oppressed, or live in fear, or be subjected to injustice but in their pursuit in what they think would be the ideal society in which to live and the optimal way of life that they wish to attain, they often end up with remedies worse than the diseases, evils, and hardships that they have been trying to escape from.

Have we ever thought that our desire to avoid suffering and hardship as best we can is perhaps an indication that we were never meant to experience suffering and hardship?
Have we ever considered that our drive to rid ourselves of what we perceive to be evil may be an indication that it was never intended for us to be subjected to the evils and injustices that threaten and come against us?

No one likes to have their belongings stolen from them.
No one likes being lied to, deceived, cheated, betrayed, or exploited.
No one likes anyone stealing their spouse away from them.
No one likes being disrespected by their children.
No one likes to bear the burden of the life of anyone they hold dear being suddenly ended by an act of evil.
No one wants to be discriminated against on account of things about themselves they cannot change such as age, gender, skin color, ethnicity, family background, economic, or social status but instead would rather be judged in accordance to their character.
No one wants to be unjustly punished by ruling authorities.
No one really wants to live in a culture of death but rather in a culture that celebrates and embraces life.
We do not want to live under evil perpetually but long for it to be eliminated and to see the forces of good triumph over the forces of evil.

All of us, including those of us who can’t seem to put their finger it, get the sense that not all is well within our society, that the institutions and governing authorities that we have trusted to maintain a peaceful and orderly balance are not functioning in the way that they ought to and are not carrying out the respective role and purpose for which they were designed.  We may even recognize that not everything is right in our own lives as well in some form or fashion and even for those of us who think they have everything they need or want, they still, even if they don’t yet know what it is, that there is something missing in their lives and so they wander about from one thing to another in search of lasting fulfillment.

That men possess some innate desire for peace, order, freedom from evil, liberation from hardship and suffering, and lasting prosperity, happiness, and joy, and cannot just simply accept co-existence with the things of darkness and view death as an enemy to them when it touches them or those things and persons they hold dear.

Even those who insist that death, struggle, suffering, and hardship have always been a part of the natural cycle would rather that these things were somehow not so, especially when they are the ones affected in some form or fashion.  Even they themselves seek to shield themselves from as much of this present world’s evils as they possibly can.  Even they themselves demand some form of justice or restitution when they wronged in some way.

Should not all of this suggest to us that perhaps the world as we know it, which is a place in which death, decay, evil, suffering, pain, grief, sorrow, and darkness dwell and abound, was not always as it was and we find ourselves desiring the world that was before the world as it presently is?  But let us suppose for a moment as some may insist that the evils of this world have always been:

That death, decay, hardship, every kind of suffering and upheaval are just somehow a part of a natural process and cycle of which we are a part.  Then the best thing we can do to preserve ourselves is to do everything we can at every level of our civilization to minimize the evils that plague our world though they will never be entirely eliminated despite our best efforts to devise political and economic systems by which all people can benefit regardless of what office, occupation or place in society they hold, establish centers of academia and education designed to equip students with the knowledge, wisdom, and skills needed to survive and prosper in this world, innovate advancements to improve our quality of life, produce medical advancements to prolong our longevity, implement means of governance designed to maintain a peaceful and ordered society but then again our efforts in all of this are destined for failure unless guided and directed by a moral guide and standard to which all people must be willing to subject themselves to and one that is fair to all and impartial to all but yet if we are to believe that those evils that we seek to at least minimize are just a part of a natural cycle that applies to all of life including humanity, then what solid basis do we have for a moral standard to govern our lives? As history itself testifies, one set of laws, morals, and standards is eventually replaced by another, one way of life is abandoned for another, and one kind of culture is replaced by another be it all for the better or the worse.  Kingdoms and empires eventually give way to other kingdoms and empires and nations and peoples rise up against each other and fall before one another and so goes this seemingly endless cycle.

Even empires lasting hundreds of years and governing systems that have endured for generations eventually come to an end, making way for another form of governance and with that those laws and ordinance that once governed society are replaced by another set of laws and ordinances however much we might long for a world in which there is lasting peace, no oppression, and a form of governance designed to see to the interests of all people and without partiality and not just a favored few at the expense and detriment of everyone else and how close we can actually come to achieving that depends on what set of principles we apply to ourselves but they cannot be just any set of principles.  They have to be a set of principles, virtues, and morals conducive to the kind of society and world we desire and such that go beyond that proposed by a political figure, propagated by our media, affirmed in our entertainment industry, or instilled in us by academia or even a religious establishment; a moral standard that does not change with the times or expire with a change of hands and in spite of cultural and political differences throughout the world, there is a universal understanding of right and wrong that is inescapable and resides in each and every one of us.

Not everyone might agree as to what constitute as murder but all will say that murder is wrong.
Not everyone might agree as to what constitute as theft, but all might say that stealing is wrong.
Not everyone might agree as to what constitutes as adultery, but most may say that adultery is wrong.
Everyone might agree that lying is wrong though there may be disagreement as to what circumstances might make lying to anyone justifiable.
All parents may desire respect and honor from their children even if they themselves haven’t necessarily been so to their own parents.

The origin of that universal understanding of right and wrong and that need for a moral compass to bring order and stability to our lives cannot be credited to any man, people, nation, empire, civilization or culture because that understanding has resided in mankind from day one of his existence for the purpose of restraining the evils and miseries of this present world for if it were not for this innate understanding of right and wrong residing in all of humanity, then there would be nothing to restrain evil and immorality because there would be no basis for law and order nor for any form of governance.  Each person in essence would be a law unto themselves doing whatever it is they please regardless of the consequences or whether or not anyone is harmed by their actions.  We would be no different than the animals who are governed by nothing more than blind instinct, but no, we would not be like the animals, we would be much worse.

But it is this basic understanding of right and wrong and the concept of morality that sets us apart from the animals and could not be possible were it not for the source of our existence being not only the establisher of natural law and the laws of physics by which our universe is sustained, but also a moral lawgiver. and if it is this universal understanding of right and wrong that is needed to keep the evils of this world in check, then is it possible that the evil and darkness of this world from which spring forth all kinds of pain, suffering, and misery were never desired by the Creator of this universe in the first place?

And if the world as we know it was not the will of the God who created the universe to be different than what it is today, then what happened to bring about its present condition in the first place?

If death, evil, hardship, and suffering were never meant to be a part of the natural cycle of life, then either the God who made the world was not able to prevent those ills from entering into the universe and therefore is not able to prevent every evil from happening or they were brought upon this world as a consequence of an unfavorable act or a series of unfavorable acts done in the sight of the Creator, but if the our Creator is not powerful enough to put an end to all of the evil and suffering in the world, then we really have no hope of the present condition of our world being rectified, but if our Creator is powerful enough to end all the evil that is in our world, then we do have hope of the present condition of this world being eventually rectified and restored to the state desired by our Maker.

There are sacred scriptures that do speak of a time when the world was once in a state of perfect harmony, peace, and unity between God, man, and nature.  There was no death or decay, no hardship or suffering, or anything to cause pain, grief, or sorrow, but only life, peace, joy, and happiness.

But man was given a choice to choose between that which was good and that which is evil in the form of two trees in the midst of a garden in a land called Eden.  Those trees were the tree of life, which would have enabled man to live forever, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Gen. 2:9) which man was told not to eat from, being warned that in the day that he ate therefrom, he would surely die. (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3)

But sadly the first man called Adam, and his wife who was called Eve, disobeyed their Maker and ate of that forbidden fruit and it was from that point on that everything began to change and the world that once was became no more and was transformed into the world that we know and experience today, but the beginning of the end of that good and perfect world that once was started when sin entered into Adam after he had eaten of that fruit that he was told not to eat from.

Sin is not merely defined by a bad action or wicked deeds nor by carelessly and cruelly spoken words and though it is manifested in both actions and words, but it is so much more and more than we can comprehend.  Sin is the corrupted condition of our very nature that not only influences the things that we say and do, but it also taints our very thoughts, our motives, and the attitudes of our very hearts which is why it is written that what goes into a man is not what defiles him but rather what comes out of him is what defiles him. (Mt. 15:11, 17-19)

Man is not made evil and sinful by the things that are external.  It already resides within him by nature just as the capacity to live upright and to do that which is good also resides within him as well and just as the first man and first woman were given the choice to choose between good and evil, so then are we also given but no matter how good we try to be, our goodness will always fall short of what God requires of us (Rom. 3:23) because the sin that entered into Adam was then passed down to all of mankind thus making all people inherently corrupt by nature (Rom. 5:12) and therefore carry that corruption everywhere they go.

Furthermore, as a consequence for their transgression, Adam and Eve were sentenced to eventual death (Gen. 3:19) and just as they were sentenced to death so we ourselves are also subjected to death because all of us sin which is why it is written, the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23) but the affects of sin are not confined to just man, but all of creation itself has been subjected to the curse that has come upon it due to man’s sin which is why it is written that the entire creation groans and travails in pain (Rom. 8:19-22) and therefore because of sin, death and decay reign and every kind and degree of evil, suffering, misery, hardship, grief, pain, and sorrow that there ever has been or could be abound and the greater the sin, the greater the evil, darkness, misery, suffering, pain, sorrow, and grief become.

It is because of the incomprehensible pervasiveness of sin that they who remain and die in their sin will never be admitted entrance into Heaven because it would ruin the Kingdom of Heaven just like it is doing to the earth and there will come a day when sin reaches a certain measure, it must face judgment and that judgment requires the elimination of all that have given themselves over to evil and the destruction of everything that has been defiled by the touch of sin.

But God delays His judgment because He is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance. (2 Pet. 3:9) Therefore, in His love and mercy for us, the Almighty has provided a solution in sending Christ Jesus, His only begotten Son, into the world to redeem us from our sins and it is by giving Himself up as the required perfect and faultless sacrifice on our behalf for our sins, (2 Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15) thereby satisfying through the shedding of His blood on the cross upon which He was crucified, the demanded penalty for sin and the need for mercy upon man and after having died for our sins, Christ was then raised from the dead so that our faith in Him for the forgiveness of sins would be justified. (Rom. 4:25)

It is in Christ Jesus that we are made justified and are made citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven and not only that but that new and better world to come that we have been promised to be set in place of this present world in which we live (Rev. 21-22) but the needed transformation begins within our own selves when we call upon the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins for as it is written, we then become a new person in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17),
no longer following after selfish and worldly pursuits but after those things that pertain to the Kingdom of Heaven,
no longer taking pleasure in those things that are evil and displeasing in the sight of the Lord, but in that which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
no longer desiring to walk in the lies of this present world, but only in the truth that comes from Christ Almighty, no longer placing our hopes in the things of this present world, but looking forward to that new and better world to come,
no longer relying on worldly resources, men, or even our own power, abilities, skills, and wisdom for our needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet all of our needs, recognizing that the resources of this world and even the people He brings into our lives are but instruments and vessels through which God meets our needs and that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which we might acquire our provision are provided and instilled in us by God,
no longer fearing what men can do to us, but rather fearing the God before whom we will have to one day give an account for how we lived our lives,
no longer looking to corruptible institutions within our society for direction and order in our lives but to God who, by His written Word has given us laws and precepts to be applied to our lives and which serve to produce and maintain an ordered life, and who, by His Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon repentance, establishes in our lives a course and direction in our lives to pursue for His glory,
no longer seeking our own glory but the glory of God,
no longer rallying behind corruptible men, but instead behind the incorruptible God in Heaven bearing in mind that those men and women God raises up for our edification are but instruments and servants of His for that respective purpose to which He has called them,
no longer seeking to align ourselves with the things of darkness but only with the things of the light,
no longer relying on the wisdom of the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge that comes from above,
and no longer trusting in corruptible earthly authorities to swiftly administer justice, but only in the power of God to deliver us from evil.

And the more of us embrace the forgiveness of sins offered to us by the Savior of the world and submit our hearts, minds, and souls to the transformative power of the His Spirit, the greater of a difference we will see in how households are run, how marriages are maintained, how children are raised, in the sincerity and authenticity of religious leadership, in how education is taught, how news is reported, in how business is conducted and how the private sector is operated, in what is affirmed in our entertainment industry, and in the manner of governance we live under.

The changes that many may so long for will never begin in the halls of government, nor can we rely on it to begin within the religious establishment or in the classrooms of academia nor in the newsrooms of our media or the studios of our entertainment industry or in the factories and offices of our private sector.

They can only be acquired when men submit themselves to the Messiah who is able to inwardly transform them spiritually and morally and such lasting change for the better can only begin at the base and from there work its way into our religious establishments and then into academia, the private sector, the media, entertainment industry and finally government itself.

If you haven’t done so already, would you like to undergo the spiritual transformation that not only cleanses the soul from sin so that there will be no need to worry about what happens after death, but will also set your life on a better and more fulfilling path?  Would you like to become not only a citizen of Heaven, but also that of the better world to come that we are promised?

It only takes a simple prayer of sincere repentance:

"Lord Jesus I need you.

I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.

Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.

Amen."

Know that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
