Leftist Logic (Folly Really), Presented In A Nutshell

Commentator Ben Shapiro explains leftist logic, political, and cultural reasoning in a nutshell:

…We must cure all inequality, even inequality caused by differences in behavior – the unavoidable condition of humanity – by spending trillions of dollars not yet created. We must rectify the imbalances of history – the unavoidable condition of humanity – by skewing all institutions toward "equity." We must abandon our prior foreign policy commitments – and our real foreign policy interests – in the name of quixotic attempts to "build back better" at home. We must rewrite the basic social compact in order to alleviate all natural differences between human beings.

We must sacrifice our sons and daughters to our hunger. We must teach them idiotic doctrines about complete human malleability, training them for confusion and chaos. We must indoctrinate them with the evils of our own philosophy, while teaching them that cultural diversity mandates that we overlook the far greater evils of other cultures. We must demand that our children protect us, rather than protecting our children. And, of course, we must snarl them in a web of debt not of their own making, condemning them to a future footing our bills. [1]

And in a break-down analysis of what he describes, here is what the folly of leftist thinking leads to:

“We must cure all inequality, even inequality caused by differences in behavior – the unavoidable condition of humanity – by spending trillions of dollars not yet created.”

And drive ourselves into a massive amount debt and destroy the value of our currency in the process, thus sending ourselves into hyper-inflation.

“We must rectify the imbalances of history – the unavoidable condition of humanity – by skewing all institutions toward ‘equity.’”

By instituting affirmative action measures that demand admittance and hiring practices be not based entirely upon qualifications and prerequisites met but upon fulfilling a certain quota of genders and skin-colors whether they are qualified for the positions they are seeking or not.

“We must abandon our prior foreign policy commitments – and our real foreign policy interests – in the name of quixotic attempts to "build back better" at home. We must rewrite the basic social compact in order to alleviate all natural differences between human beings.”

Which has led to a betrayal of our allies for a “build back better” which has been nothing more than a restoration of a porous border, lax enforcement of immigration laws, the removal of vital national security measures, the establishment of a politically correct and “woke” military leadership, robbery of our energy independence and a weakened economy, lawlessness in some of our major cities, rising inflation, and assaults on our God-given liberties which our Constitution was designed to protect.

“We must sacrifice our sons and daughters to our hunger.”

To their detriment and misery.

“We must teach them idiotic doctrines about complete human malleability, training them for confusion and chaos.”

It has already begun by teaching our children that gender is not biologically determined or fixed but determined by subjective feelings given to change.  What is next? That it is bigotry to insist that 2+2=5?

“We must indoctrinate them with the evils of our own philosophy, while teaching them that cultural diversity mandates that we overlook the far greater evils of other cultures.”

Which will cause them to take for evil that which is good and that which is evil for good and hate that which is able to deliver them from the inequality and injustices that they claim they want to avoid and be free of

“We must demand that our children protect us, rather than protecting our children. And, of course, we must snarl them in a web of debt not of their own making, condemning them to a future footing our bills.”

Which will produce an angry and resentful generation and who will be so for good and understandable reasons.

And there is something that Shapiro notes that is not possible to fix with any number of civic or social justice policies:

And that is our present human condition.  And what is our present human condition?  An inwardly inherently corrupted nature that we have possessed ever since Adam and Eve, the first man and woman whom God created. (Gen. 1:26) This inward corruption is what the Bible calls sin and before sin entered into the world, man was not by nature corrupt but in fact was made good, innocent, and uncorrupted as was the all of creation and before sin entered into man, there was perfect uninterrupted fellowship and unity between him and God and perfect peace and harmony between him and all of nature, but man was given a choice between life and death and it was presented to him in the form of two trees:  The tree of life which would have enabled him to live forever and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which would bring death to him if he ate its fruit (Gen. 2:9, 16-17, 3:3) and when he and his wife ate of that fruit which was forbidden to them, sin entered into them and with sin came death (Gen. 3:19) with access to the tree of life, which would have enabled man to live forever, to be cut off from him (Gen. 3:22) but sin did not stop with Adam and Eve for it was passed down to all of mankind who descend from them (Rom. 5:12) which is why all sin and because all sin, all as a consequence die (Rom. 6:23) for it is in sin that death has power and sin is not merely an evil act or ill-spoken words, but rather it is the inherent inward corruption of our own nature affecting not just our actions but our very thoughts, intentions, motives, and attitudes as well which is why it is written that it is not that is from without that defiles a man but that which comes out of him (Mt. 15:11, 18-20) and which is why it is written that all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23)

Sin is the reason why there will always be injustices, unfairness, and inequities of one kind or another and while there are means that can be set in place to restrain the most destructive and egregious forms of human behavior, they alone are not enough to address the inward corruption from which the outward sinful, corrupt, perverse, and wicked acts are made manifest.

Sin is affects more around us than we can comprehend.  It has even tainted and ruined even creation itself subjecting it, along with humanity, to every kind of pain, grief, sorrow, misery, hardship, and adversity that there ever could be (Rom. 8:19-22) and eventually, all sin, when it has reached a certain measure, must face judgment and elimination, including everyone who remains in their sin and when we take time to examine ourselves and not just by way of our outward performance and behavior but also our inward condition as well including the attitude of our hearts, our thoughts, and motives, it can not only be a humbling experience, but it can also be a terrifying one knowing that we will all have to give an account before God for everything that we have done in this life and not only will our actions and every word be judged but also the nature of our very thoughts as well; all sin, no matter how seemingly insignificant, being subject to an everlasting and terrifying punishment whose torment is beyond anything that we can imagine because the incorruptible holy God cannot allow sin to dwell in His Kingdom lest it be defiled by the taint thereof just as earth has been, but though He be holy, perfect in His justice, and righteousness, our Creator takes no pleasure in exacting punishment upon anyone, but would rather that we turn away from our wicked ways for He is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Pet. 3:9) but not by our own goodness, even at its best, since even our own goodness is tainted by sin which is ever present in us but by reliance on His goodness for in His love for us He provided redemption on our behalf in His one and only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, King, and Creator (Jn. 1:1) who came into the world as a man (Jn. 1:14) to offer Himself as that needed sinless and perfect sacrifice (2 Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15, 7:26-27) to satisfy both the demanded penalty for sin and grant mercy on our behalf through the purchase of our redemption which He did by way of His death on the cross upon which He was crucified and after having purchased our redemption through the shedding of His blood, was raised from the dead so that we might be made justified in Him (Rom. 4:25) if we will confess Him as our Lord and Savior and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Rom. 10:9)

Therefore, if we will, in sincerity of faith and genuine repentance, call upon the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, we shall be saved and delivered from what would otherwise be an unimaginably terrifying everlasting torment from which there would be no relief day or night (Rom. 10:13)

And upon receiving Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, we are made reconciled to God the Father in Him (2 Cor. 5:18) and are made spiritually anew in the Lord (2 Cor. 5:17) and it is that very inward change that causes to no longer desire the things of sin but instead those things that are good and pleasing in the sight of the Lord, doing everything out of love for the God that redeemed us and in appreciation and gratitude for the forgiveness of sins that we have received, causing us to no longer hate one another but love one another, to wish and seek the best for one another, to treat each other fairly, and to no longer exalt ourselves against one another but to esteem each other as greater than ourselves being made possible with the love of God in us.

It is that inward change within us made possible in Jesus Christ that addresses that otherwise impossibly corrupt human condition better than anything else ever can and in a way that nothing else can and just as our souls are made clean from sin by the forgiveness found in Christ Jesus and just as we are changed spiritually in Him, so one day we will experience a bodily physical change by which we are made free from the inward corruption caused by sin and in being made free from that inherent corruption we will be liberated from death when our corruptible bodies are changed into incorruptible immortal forms (1 Cor. 15:15-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) and lastly, creation itself will be liberated from the curse placed upon it because of sin when it is made anew into a new and better world in which there will be no sin, no death, no decay, no corruption, no evil, nothing perverse, no darkness, no sorrow, no grief, nor pain, nor hardship or adversity of any sort, but only life, joy, happiness, goodness, peace, and contentment before the Lord God Almighty. (Rev. 21-22)

If you have not done so already but would like to be sure of your salvation, then I would urge you reader to ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior and Lord today.  It is but a simple prayer of repentance away:

"Lord Jesus I need you.

I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.

Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.

Amen."

Know that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
