It Is Not The Ethnic Demographics We Should Be Worried About
It is not the ethnicity making up the majority of any given state or even
the entire nation that we should be worried about but it is rather what they
have given themselves over to, aligned themselves with, and what is influencing
them that we should be worried about and there has been great concern among the
right, and probably legitimately so, that an increasing Hispanic population in
Texas may bring the state under the control of the anti-Christ party and
therefore make electing Republican President or acquiring a GOP Senate majority
even more difficult, if not impossible, for decades to come but one thing that
must be taken into account is if in Texas, with as many as 34 Presidential
electoral votes, Hispanics now outnumber whites, [1] how much of that Hispanic majority is even here legally.
It must also be taken into account that the anti-Christ party is not
counting or relying on legal Hispanic votes, (native-born Hispanics are
becoming increasingly disillusioned with the anti-Christ party policies across
the board) but they are relying on “illegal” votes from those who shouldn’t
even be here in the first place.
What the right fears is that changing demographics means that powers
will arise that will cause the work of our hands to fail by abolishing
capitalism, who will silence and punish any challenges to and dissent from the
narratives they want us to believe on any given subject, who will take away
from us all means to defend ourselves, our property, those whom we hold dear,
and our fellowman from any who would threaten us or them harm, and not only
that, will punish anyone who lawfully defends themselves, property, those whom
they love, and their fellowman from those who would do them harm, who will
poison the minds of their children with lies through the academic system,
corrupt their innocence, and subjugate them to perversion, who will impose
excessive taxation and regulations upon the populace, who will decide what we
can and cannot eat, what we can and cannot wear for clothing, what appliances,
tools, and instruments we can and cannot use, what form of transportation we
can and cannot use for travel, how far we can travel in a day, and restrict our
movements, who will subjugate different classes of people to different
standards rather than one law and one standard, who will decide what we can and
cannot buy, where we can and cannot work, what forms of entertainment we can
and cannot watch or engage in, what we can read or not read, who and what we
can listen to and who and what not to, who will determine for what is truth and
what is a lie, even if what they claim to be truth is a lie and what they claim
to be a lie is truth, who will decide was is fact and what is fiction, even if
what they call fact is fiction and what they call fiction is a fact, who will
punish the innocent while excusing the acts of the wicked, who will decide who
can and cannot get married and who can and cannot have children, and what lives
are expendable or valuable; they fear the loss of the way of life and the
God-given liberties that our Constitution was established to protect, but the
spirit behind all that the right fears, what MAGA fears, and what even
Bible-believing Christians fear did not come with the hordes of illegals who
have been flooding our southern border and are even infiltrating our northern
border as well, but it proceeded them and decades before illegal immigration
and the security of our borders ever became a major issue and it has been
invited in, tolerated, affirmed, celebrated, and even imposed upon society not
just by people of color or foreigners but by plenty of “white people” of
European descent as well because most have either forgotten what the source of
the liberties and way of life we hold dear is or have rejected that source
altogether.
In order to learn the source of the freedoms we hold dear, one need
only look to our own Declaration of Independence which states that our
liberties do not come from man but from a power and authority greater than that
of any man.
When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for the
people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another,
and to assume among the powers of the earth the separate and equal station to
which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to
the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which
impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created
equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,
that among these are the right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

Our founders did not believe that the rights and liberties that we
hold dear were given to them by men, but endowed to them by a God who made all
things and in order to preserve those liberties, they felt it necessary to form
a nation, government, and Constitution in which those God-given liberties would
be protected but though the liberties we seek to defend are external, they are
but the results, blessings, and rewards of a more perfect freedom that has been
forgotten, made light of, and even rejected; an inward freedom that begins with
what we call truth and a truth which the Bible says sets men free (Jn. 8:32)
and it is a truth of which our Creator is the source (Jn. 14:6) and in order to
know and understand the source of the external freedoms that we seek to
protect, we must first understand what it that we need to be free from inwardly
lest we should unsuspectingly allow the external freedoms we seek to protect to
be robbed of us.
What this truth first seeks to free within us are our minds, hearts,
and souls and what our minds, hearts, and souls need to be free from is an
inward condition into which we are all born; a condition that was never
intended by our Creator for us to be born into and which causes us to be
estranged from Him and places us in a spiritual darkness that, if it continues
to persist within us, will only lead us into an eternity of darkness in which
dwells no light and in which there is nothing but an everlasting captivity
consisting of nothing more than an unrelenting torment for they who remain in
this spiritual darkness and this spiritual darkness is an inward corruption
that we have inherited from the first man and first woman whom God had created
by way of a transgression when they had eaten the fruit from a tree which the
biblical account of our history and origins calls the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil. (Gen. 2:9)
Before the first man Adam and the first woman Eve, being Adam’s wife,
had committed that transgression which caused the corrupted condition to enter
into them which was then passed down from them to the rest of us God had
created a world without evil, death, decay, violence, hate, destruction,
misery, grief, suffering, pain, hardship, adversity, and oppression. It was instead a world in which dwelt only
love, life, light, happiness, peace, contentment, joy, and with a perfect harmony
between God, man, and nature until one day evil entered into the world in the
form of a serpent who deceived Eve, the wife of Adam, into eating of that
forbidden fruit who then gave the forbidden fruit to Adam who was with her who
also joined her in the transgression.
Before then, nothing was withheld from Adam and Eve except the fruit
from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, having been warned that in the
day they ate thereof, they would surely die (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3) but instead,
they listened to the voice of the serpent who falsely and deceitfully assured
them that they would not surely die, but that they would become more
enlightened and achieve a divine state (Gen. 3:4-5) but instead they were
reduced to a state of shame (Gen. 3:7) and reduced to a state inferior than the
one in which they were created and they did not receive the enlightenment that
the serpent promised them and the sentence of death came upon them because of
their disobedience as they were warned. (Gen. 3:19)
The serpent who lied to them was none other than a fallen angel who
had once served as a guardian of the cherub at the throne of God but in his
pride he had thought to make himself equal with God and attempted to take for
himself that which belonged to God alone and as a consequence, he and those who
followed him, lost their positions in Heaven (Is. 14:11-21, Ezek. 28:12-19)
That fallen angel who thought to make himself equal to God is none
other than Lucifer who is also known as Satan or the Devil and after he had
lost his place in Heaven, the war between God and Satan which had begun in
Heaven had taken on a new phase when he had entered the world that God had
created for man to dwell in; a phase that has lasted to this day and that is a
war for the souls of men.
The lie that Satan told to Eve which led her and Adam into the first
act of disobedience which brought upon them the sentence of death was the first
known lie ever known to man or ever told by anyone as far as scripture is
concerned which is why Satan is called the father of lies (Jn. 8:44) and it is
by a lie that he brought death into the world through sin, for when Adam and
Eve had eaten of that forbidden fruit, sin entered into both of them and it is
by sin that the sentence of death came upon them and it is by causing Adam and
Eve to do the thing that brought death to them through sin that has made Satan
a murderer (v. 44) and not only did he bring death to Adam and Eve through
deception, the sentence of death did not stop with Adam for the sin that
entered into him has also been passed down to all of mankind because it is from
Adam and his wife Eve all of us descend and as a consequence of their partaking
of that forbidden fruit, the sin that entered into them also entered into us
(Rom. 5:12) and the sin that disrupted the once perfect fellowship and harmony
that they had with God estranges us all from our Creator and the sin that
brought death to them also brings death to us all because since we are all born
into sin, we all die as a consequence which is why it is written that the wages
of sin is death (Rom. 6:23) and so if you would like, Satan is not only the
murderer of Adam and Eve, he is also the murderer of everyone who has ever
lived because sin is not simply an outward act or even ill-spoken words, but is
the corrupted condition of human nature which not only influences our actions
and speech, but it also corrupts our very thoughts, darkens our hearts and
attitudes, and produces within us even wrong and self-serving motives.
But not only is Satan a liar and a murderer, he is also a thief and a
destroyer. (Jn. 10:10)
He is a thief in that the transgression of Adam gave him justification
to claim lordship over the kingdoms, peoples, nations, and empires of the earth
(Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7) which is why he is presently called the prince of this
world (Jn. 12:31, 16:11) for by causing Adam and Eve to eat of that forbidden
fruit, Satan stole dominion from them that was initially given to them by God.
(Gen. 1:26)
And Satan is also a destroyer in that he brought death and destruction
not only to man by way of sin, but also to the entire creation by the touch of
sin which has brought a curse upon all that God has created and it is because
of the curse brought upon all of creation because of sin that the entire
creation groans and travails in pain to this day. (Rom. 8:19-22)
Through a lie did Satan cause Adam and Eve to partake in something
that they were warned not to do by making that which the forbidden fruit
offered out to be something better than what they already had but the eating of
that fruit subjected them, mankind, and all of creation from that day forth to
this day to sin, death, decay, misery, pain, grief, sorrow, turmoil, hardship,
and adversity of every kind, level, degree, and severity.
And just as Satan deceived Adam and Eve into thinking that what the
forbidden fruit had to offer would elevate them to a state of being superior
than in which they had been created in order to bring them into the bondage of
sin and death, so to this very day deceitfully lures multitudes into bondage,
captivity, and oppression by presenting them with a way of life appearing to be
better than what they are living under and offering that which he makes to
appear to be better than what they already have and in doing so, he leads many
from that which was good to that which is evil and even from one form of
oppression to an oppression and bondage that is even worse than what they had
already been under and all for the sake of keeping as many souls as he possibly
can under sin in order to lead them into everlasting damnation.
But the Lord God Almighty in His infinite love and mercy for man, is
not willing that any should perish or be damned to hell for all eternity, but
that all would come to repentance (2 Pet. 3:9) so that they may be free of sin
and saved from eternal damnation and He has made a way of escape from what
would otherwise be an eternity of everlasting torment for those willing to
receive it and that way of escape and deliverance is made by Jesus Christ our
Lord and Savior who came into the world to take away our sins and He, being
without sin, (2 Cor. 5:21) was that eligible sacrifice that was perfect and
without fault (Heb. 4:15) needed to take away our sins and it was when He
offered Himself up on our behalf through His death and the shedding of His
blood upon the cross on which He was crucified and after having by His death,
satisfied the demanded penalty for the sins of all, He was then raised from the
dead on the third day so that we, in Him will be justified before the Heavenly
Father (Rom. 4:25) if we will but call upon His name for the forgiveness of our
sins in sincere faith and repentance (Rom. 10:13) and it is this truth that
sets the captives free for those who embrace it for with repentance in Christ
comes the cleansing of the soul of sin which brings reconciliation between the
sinner and His Maker (2 Cor. 5:18) and with redemption and reconciliation with
God comes an inward transformation (2 Cor. 5:17) that causes us to no longer
desire to follow after selfish and worldly pursuits but after those things that
pertain to the Kingdom of Heaven,
to no longer take pleasure in those things that are evil and
displeasing in the sight of the Lord, but in that which is good, right, and
pleasing in His sight,
to no longer desire to walk in the lies of this present world, but
only in the truth that comes from Christ Almighty, no longer placing our hopes
in the things of this present world, but looking forward to that new and better
world to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to no longer rely on worldly resources, men, or even our own power,
abilities, skills, and wisdom for our needs and provision but upon God who is
able to meet all of our needs, recognizing that the resources of this world and
even the people He brings into our lives are but instruments and vessels
through which God meets our needs and that the skills, power, knowledge, and
wisdom by which we might acquire our provision are provided and instilled in us
by God,
to no longer fear what men can do to us, but rather fearing the God
before whom we will have to one day give an account for how we lived our lives,
(Mt. 10:28)
to no longer look to corruptible institutions within our society for
direction and order in our lives but to God who, by His written Word has given
us laws and precepts to be applied to our lives and which serve to produce and
maintain an ordered life, and who, by His Holy Spirit which comes to dwell
within us upon repentance, establishes in our lives a course and direction in
our lives to pursue for His glory,
to no longer seek our own glory but the glory of God,
to no longer rally behind corruptible men, but instead behind the
incorruptible God in Heaven bearing in mind that those men and women God raises
up for our edification are but instruments and servants of His for that
respective purpose to which He has called them,
to no longer seek to align ourselves with the things of darkness but
only with the things of the light,
to no longer trust in the wisdom of the world but only on the wisdom
and knowledge that comes from above, nor depend on corruptible earthly
authorities to swiftly administer justice, but only in the power of God to
deliver us from evil.
This is where freedom begins: The inward transformation of the soul
and spirit of every person that can only be acquired by Christ Jesus and not by
any other means and it is this inward transformation from which all other
liberties eventually are birthed be they social, academic, economic, political,
or any other sort, but they are liberties that are consistent with what God
desires for all men and which can only be found in Him and in nothing else, not
even our own selves and if we would inquire as to what liberties are consistent
with the will of God, we need only consult His inspired Word which is
“profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness” (2 Tim 3:16) that we “may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto
all good works” (v. 17) and which we should study diligently and often to show
ourselves approved unto God (2 Tim. 2:15) for it is the words of the divinely
inspired scripture that largely inspired our founding documents such as the
Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.
The founders recognized that external liberties could not exist
without a spiritual freedom. For
example, John Adams a founder who had also served as the second President of
the United States stated that the Constitution, which was designed to protect
the liberties and rights that the founders declared to come from God and not
man was designed to govern only a God-fearing and morally sound people and that
it could not govern any other [3]
But the founders were not the only ones to recognize the connection
between an inward spiritual liberty and the external liberties we enjoy and
have taken for granted. French statesman
Alexis De Tocqueville, in his first volume of his most well-known work, Democracy
In America, stated:
Religion perceives that civil liberty affords a
noble exercise to the faculties of man, and that the
political world is a field prepared by the Creator
for the efforts of the intelligence . Contented with
the freedom and the power which it enjoys in its
own sphere, and with the place which it occupies,
the empire of religion is never more surely esta
blished than when it reigns in the hearts of men
unsupported by aught beside its native strength
Religion is no less the companion of liberty in
all its battles and its triumphs ; the cradle of its in
fancy, and the divine source of its claims . The safe
guard of morality is religion , and morality is the best
security of law, and the surest pledge of freedom. [4]
And in a report he reportedly had sent back to his respective
government who had sent him over to America to find out what made the nation
great and prosperous in its own rite in that day, he had told them:
“ I went at your bidding, and passed along their thoroughfares of
trade. I ascended their mountains and went down their valleys. I visited their
manufactories, their commercial markets, and emporiums of trade. I entered
their judicial courts and legislative halls. But I sought everywhere in vain
for the secret of their success, until I entered the church. It was there, as I
listened to the soul-equalizing and soul-elevating principles of the Gospel of
Christ, as they fell from Sabbath to Sabbath upon the masses of the people,
that I learned why America was great and free, and why France was a slave.” [5]
But a spirit has arisen that has led many to think that they don’t
need God to be a free and prosperous people and actually believe that they
would be more free without Him and as a result, as commentator Mike Huckabee
stated some years ago:
we've systematically have attempted to remove God
from our schools, our public activities...It's far more than just
taking
prayer or Bible reading out of the schools; its the fact that people
sue a city so that we aren't confronted with a manger scene or
Christmas carol,
and lawsuits are filed to remove a cross that's a memorial to fallen
soldiers.
Churches and Christian owned businesses are told to surrender their
values
under the edict of government orders to provide tax funded abortion
pills.
We carefully and intentionally stop saying things are sinful and we
call them disorders;
sometimes, we even say they're normal, and to get to where we
have to abandon bedrock moral truths. [6]
An article from Mid-West Christian Outreach gives us an
in-depth history of how the spirit behind all that we fear that changing
demographics will bring had already been creeping in before the demographics
began to shift and where the blame is laid is not in the halls of government,
the media, private sector, entertainment industry, or even in academia, but the
Church which had been serving as the spiritual and moral conscience of the
nation ever since the Pilgrims and Puritans had been colonizing the North
American continent:
A living, vibrant Christianity had retreated from cultural engagement
in the 1930’s and 40’s. At the same time, those who adhered to Darwinist and
Communist/Marxist/Socialist worldviews (going under the name “Progressives”)
filled the significant vacuum bequeathed to the halls of academia. Christians
created and maintained a sort of “Christian ghetto” in an attempt to protect
their offspring from exposure to ideas (either against or not compatible with
Christianity) that would challenge their faith…
During the 1950s, psychiatry/psychology really began to come into its
own with the advent of Abraham Maslow’s humanistic psychology. Maslow’s
theories included the hierarchy of needs, self-actualization, and peak
experiences as a way to become fully human. Intellectual elites and cultural
thought-shapers began changing the way man thought about himself and others.
Psychiatrists and psychologists became the new priests of the new religion.
Both of these were road markers or warnings about what was coming, but few
recognized it. [7]
And this spirit would convince multitudes to deny the existence of a
Creator and with denying the existence of a Creator comes the rejection of His
moral standards:
The false worldview of Darwinism eliminated the need for a Creator. In
this view, we and, in fact, all of creation are little more than accidents in
time and space. Once the cosmos accidentally and for no apparent reason
sparked, the universe simply mutated and changed until everything we see came
to be all by itself- divided over time and sheerly by chance. Throughout the
1960s, the move was made to teach Darwinism alongside Creationism in school.
Within a few years of winning that right in court, Creationism was soon
eliminated from public education. Teaching the truth of God as Creator was no
longer deemed necessary, and therefore, God’s morals and ethics could easily be
swept aside. [8]
And this same spirit would also infiltrate the Church in an attempt to
conform it to the culture:
With the Christians near abandonment of the major universities, the
worldviews of Karl Marx, Lenin, and others would shape the thinking of the
future educators, politicians, public servants, and, yes, leaders in the
church. In addition to the liberalism that had been growing within the church,
Liberation Theology (Marxism wrapped in Christian terminology) was birthed and
growing in the 1950s and 60s. Without the active involvement of Christians in
areas of cultural thought, those who were shaping the world went on without
biblical influence…
Feelings became the arbiter of what is true. As the high priests of
psychology invaded culture and psychology became the grid through which the
Bible would be interpreted, the church began changing direction and its
understanding of human nature. The new view being embraced in culture was that
humans are basically good; therefore, laws, morals, and ethics needed to change
to protect the good individual from evil society…
As much as was possible, anything that might be “offensive” to
unbelievers was eliminated, and a user-friendly “experience” replaced it.
Unwittingly, psychology became the grid through which the Bible was to be
understood and to convey “spiritual” truth. Personal experience and feeling
good about faith were the arbiters of what was true…[9]
And both within and outside the Church, there would come a denial of
absolute truth and with it, absolute morality.
Morality was no longer considered objective and knowable because
according to the new thinking – it was not objective and knowable. The
prevailing belief that everyone was entitled to “their own truth” resulted in
those who were attempting to demonstrate the folly of this absurdity were now
being marginalized. [10]
Which meant that even if people of faith still retain the right to
abide by the dictates of their respective religion, they would be forbidden to
challenge the falsehoods, spiritual darkness, and moral depravity of the
culture.
Sure, Evangelicals had the right to hold to their truth, but they were
not to question culture’s new relativism or say anyone else’s claims were false…
Beliefs are idolized as personal and subjective, and no one has a
“right” to claim another individual’s or group’s beliefs are false. Churches
and religious organizations may be allowed to provide for the poor or hurting
as long as they exclude any biblical teaching or moral guidance from the
Scriptures. [11]
And not only that, what was once called evil would be called good and
it would not simply be enough for those things once deemed sinful to be
tolerated, they would have to be affirmed and celebrated.
Subsequently, sexual sin is now outdated. Homosexuality must not only
be affirmed as normal, but also must be celebrated; and marriage can be
redefined to include same gender unions! This slippery slope will be further
expanded to include those beliefs that advocate other deviant sexual
proclivities. Even now, university academics are making the case that
pedophilia is normal. [12]
And with a demand to not only tolerate, affirm, and celebrate what is
evil, even of those would otherwise not want to, comes an entitlement mentality
and a refusal to take personal responsibility for one’s own welfare.
the new individualism is based on denying personal responsibility.
Healthcare paid for by someone else is deemed a “right.” A guaranteed high wage
is a “right” whether one is qualified, industrious, or not. [13]
Being blessed with prosperity is seen as evil by those not content
with what they have.
Being a financially successful businessperson is now judged to be a
great moral evil. [14]
And anything but the truth is to be protected and tolerated. Freedom of speech for everyone as long as
they are not a follower of Christ and a proclaimer of the Gospel in its purity.
Objecting to the federally approved and perpetrated religions of
Darwinism and/or Climate Change are the unpardonable sins.
All religious views, groups, and most anything which is opposed to
Christianity is protected, while the move to eliminate Christianity from being
seen or heard in the public square is underway. All claims must be tolerated
except, of course, biblical Christianity. [15]
Is it any wonder then that we should be faced with the dangers of
economic and financial collapse, threatened with hostile forces from without
and treachery, treason, and tyranny from within, that we should be constantly
fending off increasing assaults upon our civil and Constitutional liberties
that we have so valued and which have set our nation apart from most others,
assailed by civil unrest, plagued by the sowing of discord and division amongst
those who might otherwise be joined in unity and harmony, and victimized by the
establishments and institutions that we had once trusted and should be able to
trust to guide the course of our society?
The changing demographics in Texas, California, or in any other state
for that matter are not entirely to blame for the current state of the nation
nor for the dangers that we face from both without and within but make no
mistake, it is vitally important that our borders are protected and secure so
as to prevent as many as would do us harm or freeload off of us and refuse to
be an upright contributing member of our society from entering our borders and
we do need comprehensive and reasonable immigration reform that guards from
injustices against any immigrants desiring to be a contributing member of our
society but at the same time is not going to be a detriment to the citizens of
our nation and granted, the anti-Christ party has high hopes that changing demographics
in Texas will grant them an indefinite control over the state and perhaps even
further control over the course of the nation as well. I am sure they are even hoping that a large
Hispanic population might lead to Republicans possibly losing one or both
Senate seats representing the state of Texas and currently, Senator Ted Cruz, a
Senator representing the state of Texas, is already in a competitive race with
a potential anti-Christ party challenger [16] and if we do lose Texas at any given time to the anti-Christ party,
just as we have lost states like California, Colorado, New Mexico, Minnesota,
and Illinois to the anti-Christ party, it will not be because there are
reportedly more Hispanics residing in Texas than whites, it will be for the
same reasons that we have lost other states to the anti-Christ party.
It is because we, as the prophet Jeremiah said of the people in his
day, have forsaken “the fountain of living waters and hewed…out broken
cisterns, that can hold no water” (Jer. 2:13) and it should then be no surprise
at all to us that God Almighty should over time remove His hand of protection
over us and His blessings of liberty and prosperity from a nation that has
increasingly turned away from the God upon whose laws, principles, counsels,
and precepts it was built and established and has embraced things evil in His
sight and has rejected the things that are good and pleasing in His sight and
has put its trust in things corruptible and errant rather than in the
incorruptible God and His inerrant instruction, counsels, laws, precepts, and
moral standards because we have been made to doubt and disbelieve the divinely
inspired scriptures by which they are delivered and His standards have been
made out to be burdensome, limiting, and even oppressive when the opposite is
true for His commands are not grievous (1 Jn. 5:3) and His yoke is easy and His
burden is light. (Mt. 11:30) He is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34) but has
given one standard to be applied to all people (Num. 15:16) for all are made
equal in Him. (Gal. 3:28, Col. 3:11)
The way may be straight but there is peace.
It may be narrow and even confining but there is stability and order.
It may even appear a difficult path at times but it will lead to a
place of comfort, beauty, and rest beyond what anyone can imagine.
But the broad wide path, as pleasant and as easy of a journey as it
may seem, will only lead to destruction and the eternal damnation of the soul, and
I fear that presently, this nation, as well as the rest of the world, is taking
the broad wide path to destruction that will invite the eventual judgment of
God though He would rather show love and mercy to the world rather than bring
punishment, but as the world increasingly rejects His love, mercy, truth,
instruction, counsel, and His moral laws and standards, so we draw ever nearer
to judgment because there will come a day when the sin and evil of this world
will reach a measure at which point it must be judged and eliminated and that
means the elimination of all those who remain in their sins and take pleasure
in the things that are evil in the sight of God rather than in the things that
are good and pleasing in His eyes.
But the more people come to repentance and commit themselves to
faithful service and obedience to their Creator and dedicate themselves to
abiding in His truth, instruction, doctrine, precepts, and moral laws and
standards, the less evil there will be, the weaker the forces of darkness
become, and the more subdued sinful tendencies will become but that call to
repentance does not begin with our government, media, entertainment industry,
business and corporate sector, in academia, or even with our religious leaders
within our respective places of worship.
It begins with people like you and me and on an individual basis for
when the individual turns away from his or her evil and sinful ways and commits
themselves to the faithful service of God Almighty and seeks to persuade as
many as he or she can do to the same, it is then that there is hope that what
begins with each individual may then extend itself to entire households,
families, neighborhoods, communities, states and provinces, and finally nations
and kingdoms and the more souls come to Christ, the less power in the world the
prince of darkness has and the day comes when he will be cast out (Jn. 12:31)
and will suffer his final defeat when he, and all who follow him, are cast into
everlasting damnation (Rev. 20:10-15) and just as we, who are in Christ have
been liberated from damnation, so too will we also be delivered from bodily
death when our present form into which we are born and in which sin dwells are
changed from that which is corruptible and subject to death into forms
incorruptible and no longer subject to death (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess.
4:13-18) for wherein dwells no sin will dwell no death and lastly, death itself
will be done away with, when this present creation is liberated from the curse
of sin when it has been made anew and it will be a creation in which neither
sin nor evil will have any part and in which will dwell no death, nor decay,
nor any misery, sorrow, grief, hardship, adversity, or pain of any sort, level,
or degree, but it will be a world and a universe in which there will only be
light, life, peace, harmony, happiness, contentment, and joy before the Lord
God Almighty. (Rev. 21-22)
But we need not wait for the Kingdom of Heaven to come to earth to
make our nation, and the world for that matter a better place. We make the world a better place by inviting
as many as are willing to become citizens of the Kingdom Heaven and the world
that is to come but before we can ever hope to be a shining light in the
darkness, for those of us who are in Christ, we must fear only God and not man
because it is God who before whom all man will stand and give an account (Mt.
10:28) and stop appeasing the culture but resolve to be conformed only to
Christ (Rom. 12:2) and we must value the praise of God more than the favor of
man, (Mt. 10:32-33, Mk. 8:38) and we must not get caught up in the cares,
worries, and pleasures of this world, but concern ourselves only with storing
up treasures in Heaven, (Mt. 6:19-20) and when called to sacrifice anything and
possibly all that we may have for the sake of Christ, we must trust that the
reward promised to us will exceed any sacrifice that we may be called to make (Mk.
10:30) and that the honors to come will supersede any suffering we may be
subjected to on behalf of the Kingdom (Mt. 5:11-12) and we must place our trust
in God to meet and provide for our needs rather than in the things of this
world. (Mt. 6:25-33) We must also seek
to abide in the truth, doctrine, instruction, precepts, counsel, and laws of
God rather than those of man and when the laws of God and men conflict, we must
resolve to obey God rather than man (Acts 5:29) and we must commit ourselves to
the teaching and upholding of sound doctrine and godly living within our ranks,
hold accountable they who refuse, and when necessary, purge the disobedient,
infiltrators, and rebellious from our fellowships (Mt. 7:15-20, 18:15-17,
Acts 20:28-31, 1 Cor. 5:1-8, 11, 13, 2 Cor. 11:3-4, 12-15, Gal. 1:6-9,
1 Tim. 1:19-20, 4:1-3, 7, 5:22, 6:3-5, 20-21, 2 Tim. 2:16-18, 23, Titus 1:10-16,
2:10, 11, 13, 2 Pet. 2, 3:15-16, 1 Jn. 4:1-3, Jude) if we are to be the light
and representative of Heaven that we were intended to be (Mt. 5:14-16) for as
it is written, judgment must begin in the house of the Lord (1 Pet. 4:17)
because if there is to be any hope the revival and awakening that many pray and
hope for, that awakening is going to first have to take place within the Church
and draw it back to the doctrinal purity upon which it was first established
and to a renewed zeal and love for our Lord and Savior before it can ever begin
to impact the lost whom we hope and pray may turn from their sinful, evil, and
misguided ways to the Lord in sincere faith and repentance because we cannot
hope to be an agent of change by conforming ourselves to the ways, doctrines,
philosophies, ideologies, traditions, and cultures of this world. We can only do so, by setting ourselves apart
from the world just as Christ is set apart from the world.
And I would implore all readers, both Christian and non-Christian to
examine yourselves to determine whether or not you are contributing in your own
way to the welfare of the nation you claim to love or to its ruin by way of
your priorities, attitude, desires, ambitions, the manner in which you regard
your fellowman and treat others around you including those whom you are
supposed love, honor, respect, and cherish, the things by which you are
influenced, the values, precepts, principles, philosophies, beliefs, and
ideologies that you embrace, the causes you commit yourself to, and to whom and
what you devote yourself to and serve because everyone, in their own way is
responsible for the well-being or the detriment of the society in which they
live and in more ways than they realize and if any of you reading this post
have not done so already and desire to be an agent of change for the better and
not just for yourself but also for your respective household, community, state,
province, and nation, and more importantly, seek peace and assurance as to
where you will be spending eternity, then I urge you reader to, in all faith
and sincerity turn away from your sinful, wicked, evil, dark, and selfish ways,
and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. It is but a simple heartfelt sincere prayer
of repentance away:
“Lord Jesus I need you.
I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.
Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.
Amen.”
Know that God is not concerned with the words that you use to call
upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with
all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your
trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are
forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
