This month marks the fifth year
anniversary of Contender’s Edge. It was
first launched in 2019 of this month. As
of today, the site has had a total of 21, 985 views up from 8, 519 from last year and that is
a huge jump by the way; the biggest I have ever seen yet.
On USA.LIFE we have a total of 74
followers; two down from the 76 I had last year (a couple people appear to have
left that platform)
On Twitter, also called X, we have
329 followers; down from 335 last year.
On Spreely, I did have a total of 18
followers last year but due to a revamping of the site, I had to start my
account completely over again and so this year, I have 12
Same thing on Twellit and Magabook:
On Twelllit, I have 16 followers down
from 125 last year
And on Magabook, I have 18 followers
down from 43 last year
Last year has been at least the third
time that both Twellit and Magabook were revamped and so most of the users who
were once there have not yet come back and I can understand as to how a
repeated revamping of platforms can be discouraging to a lot of people but
Contender’s Edge is still sticking it out on both sites; Hoping and praying to
get more followers from both sites both new and returning.
Also World Anon and Pro America are
now defunct platforms. On World Anon I
had 12 followers and on Pro America, I had 16 and with those platforms now
defunct, that has costed Contender’s Edge a total of 28 followers. May we all find each other again on other
platforms.
There is a reason why Contender’s
Edge does not rely on just one platform but on several and why I advise other
SM users to establish themselves on multiple platforms as well because you
never know when a platform might go belly-up or if the administration of any
given platform decides they don’t like you very much.
Over this last year, I have lost more
followers to platforms being revamped or going belly-up than I ever have to
anything else and when either one happens, that can be a huge blow.
As for sites like Free Talk, still
one follower; no change there from last year.
On America First Patriot, still two
followers; no change from last year.
And on Creation.social, still two
followers; no change from last year.
But now here is some good news:
On Gab, 147 followers up from 133
from last year
Anon Up: 451 follower up from 380
from last year
Right Only: 51 followers up from 49 last year
Clouthub: 25 followers up from 21 last year
New sites that I have joined:
Truth social: 26 followers
Yubnub: 2 followers
Brighteon.social: 1 follower
TLB Talk: 1 follower
Christian.social: 1 follower
In spite of the losses sustained,
Contender’s Edge has a combined total of 1,156 followers up from 1,083. Great to see the audience still growing. Been trying to keep actively engaged with my
audience in more efficient ways as well as getting blogposts done in a timely
manner. Would love to have a blogpost
ready to publish at least once a week, if not more often but with a presently
busy work schedule, meeting that goal becomes difficult and what has also added to that difficulty is that I had to buy another computer; the one I was using beforehand is on its last legs and in an attempt to transfer some important information over to my new one, somehow, some of the content and data that I was transferring to the new computer got deleted causing me to have to spend a good part of a day recovering and rewriting what I had lost.
The post to get the most views this
cycle was called, This May Have Serious Implications For The Q Anon Movement
[1] with 170 views. Seems like anything I write concerning the Q
Anon movement gets a lot of attention and even more so than most of my other
posts. What the blogpost was covering
was a news piece from Western Journal reporting statements former
national security advisor and retired three start General Mike Flynn said about
the Q Anon movement:
“Information warfare is something our
government gets involved in.”
“I raise this because… I really do
believe that it [the QAnon movement] is some type of government campaign. Maybe
it’s being done by … ultra-government organizations, you know, that are working
on behalf of it.
This is something that I can see our
government — and they’re going to go crazy on this — but I can see our
government, you know, somewhere, at some level, putting something like this
together, but bifurcating it from the government and turning it over to another
body [2]
He urged conservatives to reject any
notion that there are going to be a mass amount of arrests [3]
To be clear, I have remained fairly
neutral in regards to Q Anon, neither endorsing nor condemning the movement in
and of itself and though there are some things propagated within the movement
that have been a concern to me but which I will not really get into here, I
believe most of the people within the Q Anon movement are good well-meaning
people---some of them godly men and women who love Jesus---who do not want to
see the destruction of this nation nor do they want to be robbed of their God-given
freedoms.
The identity of Q remains unknown to
this day; some claim that the Q Anon movement may be government psyop and then
there are others who claim it to be an operation run by Trump himself and some
have theorized that even Trump himself could be Q but there is no telling who
is behind it nor who really formed it which is why I have approached Q Anon
with a sense of caution from day one. I
am not one to give in to pessimism too easily, but at the same time, I do not
want to fall for any false hope either and I don’t want anyone else out there
to be deceived by a false hope that does nothing more than bring disappointment,
disillusionment, and demoralization, but at the same time, I do not want to see
anyone give into pessimism either and say “all is lost” because I don’t believe
that all is lost.
But Mike Flynn is right about one
thing:
You know, I keep telling people. The
plan is ‘We the People.’ The plan is you and I…
The plan is me and guys like me and
people like me getting out there to encourage people to get involved in the
everyday life of this country
That’s the plan! That’s it. It’s that
simple [4]
We CANNOT just wait for something to
happen, we need to be involved, in some form or fashion in bringing about the
changes we desire to see done our nation and we have to do more than just vote
and we cannot rely on the legislators, courts, executive branch, law
enforcement, or even the military to bring about those changes for us nor can
we rely on them to deliver us from those who would do us harm from without or
within; in fact many within our civic institutions at every level and within
every branch and sector are a part of the problem instead of being part of the
solution and it seems that increasingly so, that the civic institutions in
which we have place so much faith and trust in to uphold our Constitutional
freedoms and to properly administer justice end up doing the opposite.
Granted when the right people are placed
within those civic institutions, they can do much in our favor, but when the
wrong people are placed in power, they can turn the very institutions that were
designed to protect us against us which is why it is vitally important for each and every one of us to find
out what our part is in restoring our nation to that which was the original
intent of its founders and maintaining it from there on out whether that respective
part given to each and every one of us is big or small.
And this I find that the maintaining
of a nation and the body of Christ have in common: It is not the sole responsibility of the
leadership in either the Church or a nation to bring either one to greatness
nor to maintain its greatness; granted that they have their part and purpose,
but everyone must be involved in some form or fashion whether it be in a big way
or a small way.
We have all instilled within each of
us some talent or gift designed for the respective purpose and calling that God
has made each and every one of us for and if we would but humbly seek out our
Creator for the purpose and calling that He has made us for, then we will then begin
to see what our part is in both the expansion of His Kingdom which is to come
and the maintaining of the nation in which He has placed each and every one of
us.
The one thing that I can say to the credit
of the Anons is at least they know and understand that this present world
system is built on lies and that no man-made institution is worthy of our full
trust but for those of them who have not yet done so, I pray their distrust and
distain of this present world might lead them to a saving faith in our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ whose Kingdom is not of this world but is of the world whose
ruler created the world into which we are born.
No matter what we read and hear comes
from, whether it be from a source on the right or the left, we need to be very
careful what it is we take for truth and in whom and what we place our faith
and trust because that which we embrace as truth can turn out to be a lie, those
in whom we place our trust can deceive and betray us, and that in which we place
our faith and hopes can fail and disappoint us especially at the most critical
conjunctures and that does include Q, Trump, and anyone else we look up to and
trust for deliverance. They are just
people after all and just as fallible and subject to corruption as any of us
are.
But the only one who cannot and will
not fail us is the God who is incorruptible.
His promises do not fail and nothing that He decrees to come to pass
will ever fail to come to pass and it is by Him that the world in which we live
was initially created in a pure state; a world of peace, happiness, and joy in
which was enjoyed a perfect harmony and unity between God, man, and
nature. There was no evil, death,
adversity, grief, sorrow, pain, misery, or hardship of any sort until the day
that the first man Adam and his wife Eve, the first woman, did something that
was forbidden to them by God to do and that was the eating of the fruit of a
certain tree called the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, having been
warned that in the day that they ate thereof, they would surely die. (Gen.
2:16-17, 3:3) and when they did not heed the warning and admonition of the Lord
forbidding them to eat of that certain fruit, sin entered into them, corrupting
their very inward nature and turning their inward being into that which God did
not intend for when God had created the heavens and the earth, He created
everything to be good, including man, but when Adam and Eve had eaten of that
forbidden fruit, they then ceased to be inwardly good and became inwardly evil
and that inward corruption of their once good and pure nature brought upon them
the sentence of death as they had been warned (Gen. 3:19) but the sentence of
death did not stop with Adam and Eve because the sin that entered into them was
then passed down to all of mankind since we all descend from them (Rom. 5:12)
and because of the inherited corruption of our nature, we all sin and as a
consequence, we all die (Rom. 6:23) and not only did sin bring death to
mankind, but it also brought decay corruption, grief, misery, pain, and
hardship to all of creation which is why it is written that the entire creation
travails in pain to this day. (Rom. 8:19-22)
Sin does not merely affect just our
actions or even the words that come out of our mouths, but it affects our very
thoughts, the attitude of our heart, and our motives which is why it is written
that man is not defiled by that which is from without but from that which is
within (Mt. 15:11, 17-20) and it is because of this inward defilement that even
our own goodness is tainted, making it impossible for us to attain a state of
moral perfection as demanded of us by God Almighty who is morally perfect and when
we take time to examine ourselves before our Creator and not just our outward
performance, but our inward condition, it is only then that we come to
understand how it is that we all sin and fall short of the glory of God (Rom.
3:23) and albeit some fall further short of His glory than others, we all
nevertheless fall short and such an honest examination of ourselves may be ever
the most humbling experience that we ever have because it is then our moral
imperfections and flaws are revealed to us, but it can also be the most
terrifying experience that we may be faced with knowing full well that all sin
will eventually be judged and punished because a perfectly good and holy God
cannot allow evil to persist forever. A
day comes when it must be dealt with in righteous judgment and that includes
they who remain in their sin and persist in their evil ways and in light of our
inherent corruption, our situation may appear to be a hopeless one as our sin
is what estranges and separates us from God and they who die in their sins are
left separated and estranged from Him for all eternity but we have not been
left without hope, for God who made us is also a God of love and mercy who,
because of His great love for us is not willing that any should perish but that
all would come to repentance. (2 Pet. 3:9)
And in His love for us, He has shown
us mercy in Christ Jesus, His only begotten Son, whom He sent into the world to
take away our sins and by the shedding of His blood was redemption bought
thereby satisfying both the demand for the penalty, which He, being without any
sin (2 Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15) took upon Himself, to be paid for all sin and
granting mercy in His death upon the cross and by His resurrection are we made
justified in Him (Rom. 4:25) so that anyone placing full trust in Him alone for
the forgiveness of sin and salvation will not have to face eternal damnation,
but be made a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven and granted eternal life and it
is in calling upon Him for the forgiveness of sins and believing that God
raised Him from the dead that we are saved from an otherwise terrible
everlasting judgment (Rom. 10:9, 13) and it is by Him that we are reconciled to
our Creator (2 Cor. 5:18) and with the cleansing of our sins which reconciles
us to our Maker, we inwardly transformed and made anew; (2 Cor. 5:17) that
spiritual transformation and awakening which causes us to no longer desire to
follow after selfish and worldly pursuits but after those things that pertain
to the Kingdom of Heaven, (Mt. 6:33)
to no longer take pleasure in those
things that are evil and displeasing in the sight of the Lord, but in that
which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
to no longer desire to walk in the
lies of this present world, but only in the truth that comes from Christ
Almighty, (Jn. 14:6) no longer placing our hopes in the things of this present
world, but looking forward to that new and better world to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to no longer rely on worldly
resources, men, or even our own power, abilities, skills, and wisdom for our
needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet all of our needs, (Mt.
6:25-33) recognizing that the resources of this world and even the people He
brings into our lives are but instruments and vessels through which God meets
our needs and that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which we might
acquire our provision are provided and instilled in us by God,
to no longer fear what men can do to
us, but rather fearing the God before whom we will have to one day give an
account for how we lived our lives, (Mt. 10:28)
to no longer look to corruptible
institutions within our society for direction and order in our lives but to God
who, by His written Word has given us laws and precepts to be applied to our
lives and which serve to produce and maintain an ordered life, and who, by His
Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon repentance, establishes in our
lives a course and direction in our lives to pursue for His glory,
to no longer seek our own glory but
the glory of God,
to no longer rally behind corruptible
men, but instead behind the incorruptible God in Heaven bearing in mind that
those men and women God raises up for our edification are but instruments and
servants of His for that respective purpose to which He has called them,
to no longer seek to align ourselves
with the things of darkness but only with the things of the light,
to no longer trust in the wisdom of
the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge that comes from above, nor
depend on corruptible earthly authorities to swiftly administer justice, but
only in the power of God to deliver us from evil.
And just as we are made spiritually
alive in Christ, so also we will one day be delivered from bodily death itself
when our present bodies are changed from that which was born into corruption
into that which is without corruption (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) and
finally, creation itself will also be delivered from the curse of sin when it
is made anew, there will be no sin, no evil, no darkness, nor any curse. There will be no death, no decay, nor any
pain, nor any hardship, no oppression, no misery, no cruelty, no despair, or
any grief for all of these things will have passed away with the old corrupted
creation.
Instead, in this new and undefiled
creation, there will only be life, light, goodness, happiness, joy, peace, and
contentment before the Lord God Almighty. (Rev. 21-22)
The key to making a nation great and
maintaining its greatness is to be a dedicated servant of the Kingdom of Heaven
of which one day, earth itself will be a part
If you, reader have not done so
already and would like be sure that you have place in the Kingdom of God and in
the new and better world to come, and not only that, if you want to live a life
filled with meaning and purpose, then I would urge you to call upon the name of
Jesus Christ today to take away your sins so that you can be sure of your
salvation. It is but a simple prayer of
sincere repentance away:
"Lord Jesus I need you.
I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of
God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.
Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.
Amen."
Know that God is not concerned with
the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of
your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive
you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in
nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
