According to Lifesite
News, Melania Trump, revealed in her Memoir which has already been released
as of the writing of this post, where she stands on abortion and I must say, it
is a major disappointment to know that she is for the killing of innocent
unborn children even in the late term, [1] but before we examine Melania’s
statements, it needs to be made clear that Lifesite News wrongfully
misled their readers into thinking that the rest of the Trump family, including
Donald, are all privately in favor of abortion, including late-term, but are
only condemning late-term abortion for political reasons, [2] but has not
produced any documented sources proving these accusations as, aside from Donald
Trump himself who strongly opposes late-term abortion, and none of the accused
Trump family members have stated one way or another where they stand on the
abortion issue except that, according to Eric Trump, his wife Lara Trump, like
Donald Trump, may very well be opposed to late-term abortion:
My father has
always been there on those issues…That’s reflective of my father and what he
believes in… and my wife Lara who runs the RNC and what she believes in. [3]
And that is not
the same as being for abortion for any reason at any given stage in the
pregnancy and though that is not as pro-life as the pro-life movement may like
to see, at least Trump and the GOP are still committed to mitigating abortion
as much as they feasibly can on the political level which still distinguishes
them from the Harlot’s campaign which promotes the unmitigated slaughter of
innocent babies in the womb at any given stage in pregnancy for no justifiable
reason at all but at least with the current GOP platform, the pro-life movement
is still left with something upon which they can build and not to mention, they
will still be afforded the freedoms necessary that will enable them to carry
much needed groundwork that needs to done in order to persuade as much of the
public as possible against abortion at any given stage of pregnancy and to
defend innocent life and the more people are persuaded to abandon abortion and
to defend innocent life, the more staunchly pro-life candidates we can elect to
office at every level and branch of government.
And we need to
remember that Melania is NOT on the ballot this coming election. Trump is. The platform upon which he is
running is. And that is what is going to
affect the course of this nation at the political level, not what Melania has
expressed in a book, but now going back to Melania Trump and the abortion
issue, she states the following:
It is imperative
to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having
children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or
pressure from the government. Why should anyone other than the woman herself
have the power to determine what she does with her own body?
A woman’s
fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the
authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes. Restricting a woman’s right
to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her
control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my
entire adult life. [4]
But what about the
rights of the unborn children to do what they want with their own bodies?
What about THEIR
freedoms? Do they have any?
And another
question I would pose to Melania as well as to any professing follower of
Christ is, how is advocating for the murder of babies in the womb consistent
with the faith you profess to hold to when the Bible clearly states: “THOU
SHALT NOT KILL!” (Ex. 20:13)
“the innocent and
righteous slay thou not.” (Ex. 23:7) (Emphasis in bold)
Scripture further
warns:
“the fearful and
unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake
which burneth with fire and brimstone.” (Rev. 21:8)
And it doesn’t
matter whether you call yourself a Christian or not, if you call yourself MAGA
or not. If you are an abortion supporter
or take part in killing unborn babies, then you are guilty of murder and you
need to repent before God because there is blood on your hands but if you
refuse and persist on killing or even support the killing of unborn children,
even with your vote, you will not inherit the Kingdom of God. There is only a fearful and dreadful judgment
of everlasting torment to look forward to no matter how you justify such an
act.
At least to
Trump’s credit and that of the GOP, they still seek to mitigate abortion, but
Melania is indistinguishable from the left and the anti-Christ party and set
apart from her husband [5]
and
most of the GOP for that matter in the sense that she supports unmitigated
abortion for any reason though she, like anti-Christ party, would have us
believe that most abortions are performed for medical reasons such as the health
of the mother:
It is important to
note that historically, most abortions conducted during the later stages of
pregnancy were the result of severe fetal abnormalities that probably would
have led to the death or stillbirth of the child. Perhaps even the death of the
mother. These cases were extremely rare and typically occurred after several
consultations between the woman and her doctor. As a community, we should
embrace these common-sense standards. [6]
But according to a
study conducted by the Guttmacher Institute going back to as far as 1987, that
turns out to be a lie:
Most respondents
to a survey of abortion patients in 1987 said that more than one factor had
contributed to their decision to have an abortion; the mean number of reasons
was nearly four. Three-quarters said that having a baby would interfere with
work, school or other responsibilities, about two-thirds said they could not
afford to have a child and half said they did not want to be a single parent or
had relationship problems. A multivariate analysis showed young teenagers to be
32 percent more likely than women 18 or over to say they were not mature enough
to raise a child and 19 percent more likely to say their parents wanted them to
have an abortion. Un- married women were 17 percent more likely than currently
married women to choose abortion to prevent others from knowing they had had
sex or became pregnant…
Three-quarters
said they had decided to have an abortion because they were concerned about how
having a baby would change their life. About two-thirds said they could not
afford to have a child now; half said that they did not want to be a single
parent or had relationship problems. Slightly fewer than one-third of
respondents said they had decided to have an abortion because they were not
ready for the responsibility of having a child, because they did not want
others to find out that they were sexually active or had be-come pregnant or
because they were not mature enough to have a child. Ninety-nine percent who did
not want others to know said they were concerned about people finding out that
they had become pregnant; 15 percent specified that they did not want others to
know they were sexually active.
The six most
commonly mentioned fac-tors were given by 82 percent of the patients as the
most important reason they were having an abortion. The rank order of the most
important reasons differed, however, from the overall ranking of factors
reported to have contributed to the women's decision. The two factors most
frequently given as most important were that the woman could not afford a child
and that the woman was not ready for the responsibility (both cited by 21
percent). Although feeling concerned about the changes a baby would bring or
about single parenthood or relationship problems were noted by over half of all
respondents, these reasons were described as most important by only 16 and 12
percent of respondents, respectively. These four were mentioned by 70 percent
of all respondents. The other factors cited by many respondents as having
contributed to their decision were in most cases mentioned by few as the most
important reason…
Two thirds of
those who said they were concerned about the changes their lives would undergo
explained that they chose abortion because having a child now would interfere
with their job, employment or career. (This rep- resented half of all abortion
patients in the survey.) Almost half said that having a child now would
conflict with their schooling, while more than a quarter reported that children
or other people depended on them for care…
Some 33 percent of
those who said they could not afford to have a baby gave no further
explanation. Of those who did, two in five said they were students or were
planning to study, one in five that they were unmarried or unemployed and one
in seven that they had a low-paying job. Among women who said that they did not
want to be single parents or that they had relationship problems, the reasons
most commonly reported were that they did not want to marry their partner
(given by half of such women who provided explanations), that their current
relationship might break up soon (by one-third), that their partner or was
unable to marry them (by three-tenths) or that they were not in a relationship
with anyone (one-quarter). Nineteen percent gave no further information…
Only eight percent
said, however, that a physician had advised them that the fetus had a defect or
was abnormal…
At all ages, the
most commonly cited reason was that the respondent was concerned about the ways
in which having a baby would change her life; respondents under age 18 were
most likely to have cited this factor (92 percent), while women 30 and older
were least likely to have mentioned it (69 percent). Not being mature enough to
have a child was the second most commonly cited reason among the youngest
patients, and financial problems ranked third. These reasons were ranked third
and second, respectively, by women aged 18-19. Financial reasons were cited by
an equal proportion of 18-19-year-olds and those under 18; in fact, financial
concerns were the second most important reason for those 18 and over, although
women 25 and older were less likely than younger women to have obtained an
abortion for this reason. Among those aged 20-29, the desire to avoid single
parenthood or relationship problems (given by 55-56 percent of respondents) was
the third most common reason, while the fact that they had completed childbearing
was cited by substantially fewer (23-31 percent). Among respondents 30 and
over, however, the latter reason was given by about the same pro- portion as
the former (51 percent and 50 percent, respectively).
In contrast to the
large proportion of teenagers who said they were not mature enough to have a
child, only 28 percent of 20-24-year-olds gave this as a reason, as did only
4-7 percent of those 25 and older. Younger women were most likely to say they
did not want others to find out that they were having sex or had become
pregnant; however, unexpectedly, we found that 21-22 percent of respondents 25
and older also gave this reason. As anticipated, adolescents were more likely
than older women to say that their parents wanted them to have an abortion;
18-29 percent of women of all ages reported that their husband's or partner's
desire that they have an abortion influenced their decision. Never-married
respondents were the most likely to attribute their abortion decision to their
concern about the effect bearing a child would have on their lives (82
percent), but this reason was also noted by 58 percent of currently married
abortion patients (not shown). Both never-married and formerly married women
were more likely to say they could not afford to have a child (69-71 percent)
than were currently married women (52 percent). Thirty-eight percent of
never-married and 26 percent of formerly married women said they were having an
abortion because they did not want others to know they were having sex or had
become pregnant. (Surprisingly, 10 percent of currently married women gave this
reason as well.) [7]
And another study
published by Guttmacher in 2005 showed that the predominant reasons women cite
for having abortions have not changed.
While a small
proportion of women who have abortions do so because of health concerns or
fetal
anomalies, the
large majority choose termination in response to an unintended pregnancy…
Among the
structured survey respondents, the two most common reasons were “having a baby
would dramatically change my life” and “I can’t afford a baby now” (cited by
74% and 73%, respectively…). A large
proportion of women cited relationship problems or a desire to avoid single
motherhood (48%). Nearly four in 10 indicated that they had completed their
childbearing, and almost one-third said they were not ready to have a child.
Women also cited possible problems affecting the health of the fetus or concerns
about their own health (13% and 12%, respectively)…
The most common
sub reason given was that the woman could not afford a baby now because she was
unmarried (42%). Thirty-eight percent indicated that having a baby would
interfere with their education, and the same proportion said it would interfere
with their employment. In a related vein, 34% said they could not afford a
child because they were students or were planning to study. In the in-depth
interviews, the three most frequently stated reasons were the same as in the
structured survey: the dramatic impact a baby would have on the women’s lives
or the lives of their other children (32 of 38 respondents), financial concerns
(28), and their current relationship or fear of single motherhood (21).
Nine women cited
health concerns for themselves, possible problems affecting the health of the
fetus or both as a reason for terminating the pregnancy. [8]
Now, my challenge
to Melania and anyone else favoring abortion is to produce a credible study
that shows that the reasons for why women have abortions is no longer based on
inconvenience but due to serious health issues to themselves and the pro-life
movement may very well be rest assured that perhaps not nearly as many
abortions are taking place as we have all thought which would mean that the
pro-life movement is making significant progress in minimizing the killing of
innocent babies after all, but if the roughly 626,000 [9] abortions that
take place in this nation every year and the roughly 73 million abortions that
take place worldwide [10] every year are
due to legitimate health concerns of either the mother, the child, or both,
then that means we have a serious health crisis on our hands that is affecting
pregnant women and the children they are carrying in their wombs that needs to
be addressed; killing the babies is not the answer.
How cold-hearted,
calloused, and selfish does anyone have to be to destroy an innocent life in
the womb just because it is an inconvenience?
And that is exactly what the Guttmacher institute studies show for the
vast majority of cases. And all because
women refuse to accept the consequences of their bad decisions and not being
responsible with what they do with their bodies.
And if they don’t
want to keep the baby that they’ve been made pregnant with, why is giving that
baby up for adoption such a hard thing for them to do? That is always a better option than ending
its life and there are a lot of people out there who can’t even have children
of their own who would love to adopt a child and provide a good home and life
to.
As a pro-lifer and
a Bible-believing Christian, I believe that to a certain extent women do have
the right to do whatever it is they want with their own bodies, but I also
believe that they, like men, have to be responsible with their bodies and in
most cases, with the exceptions of rape and incest, unintended and unwanted
pregnancies are the result of women and their partners being irresponsible with
their bodies and when faced with the consequences of those actions, instead of
accepting the consequences of their bad choices, they run from them by ending
an innocent life.
And I have no
polite way of saying this, but before any woman allows a man to stick his dick
where it shouldn’t be at a time in her life where it shouldn’t be, pregnancy
needs to be first and foremost on her mind.
And it is before she lets that man stick his dick in a certain place
that she must say that she doesn’t want a baby, not afterwards. And if it must come down to it, why don’t
women just tell the men who want to be intimate with them to get a vasectomy
first and show medical proof of the procedure being done before they give their
bodies over to them? Why is that so hard
for women to do?
And if the men
they are with refuse or try to pressure the women they are with into doing
something they don’t feel comfortable in doing, shouldn’t that be made
abundantly clear to those women that these are not the kind of men they need to
be with and they need to only confine themselves to those men who love and
respect them enough to not cause them needless distress or push them into
uncomfortable situations?
But it seems as if
Melania believes that women should be able to do whatever it is they want, no
matter who is harmed in the process, without having to face and accept the
consequences of their actions, but it doesn’t work that way no matter how much
Melania or anyone else thinks that it should. Melania goes on to state:
I have always
believed it is critical for people to take care of themselves first. [11]
This seems to be
the attitude of abortionists and most women who have had abortions: Putting themselves ahead of everyone else
when they should be putting others ahead of themselves.
And that is in
stark contrast to her husband who has risked his life, his family, his fortune,
the possibility of a prison sentence, and his reputation for the best interests
of our nation thereby showing himself to be an example of what a self-sacrificing
love for this country and for the people of this nation looks like despite what
faults and flaws may be in his character which is why at this point, I have no
choice but to declare Donald Trump to be the better half of Melania and Melania
to be the dark half of Trump.
Now, I am not
saying that people shouldn’t take care of themselves, but when it comes to
taking care of ourselves, we should only take care of ourselves so that we can
be productive members of society and be of service to others in need, but that
doesn’t seem to be what Melania is talking about. The kind of self-care she is talking about is
the self-care done for the sole purpose of pursuing selfish ambition,
self-edifying pleasures, and self-gratifying lusts and even to the detriment of
our fellow man and I know many within the MAGA movement and a lot of Trump
supporters, including fellow followers of Christ may take issue with what I am
about to say, but based upon her own aforementioned words, Melania Trump has
revealed to us the kind of woman she really is.
She is not the caring and empathetic woman we all thought her to be. She is in fact instead at heart, a very
selfish individual who doesn’t really care about anyone but herself and the
only reason why she is even tolerating the MAGA movement and the pursuits of
her husband is for what she thinks she can gain from them and honestly, no
matter what side anyone claims to be on, and no matter what they claim their
spiritual and political leanings to be, I do not see how anyone who has such
disregard for the innocent lives growing and developing in the wombs of their
mothers can ever possibly have any regard or empathy for anyone else. Melania states further:
we are all born
with a set of fundamental rights, including the right to enjoy our lives. We
are all entitled to maintain a gratifying and dignified existence. [12]
But don’t the
unborn have a right to enjoy the lives they are about to live? Don’t they have the right to a gratifying and
dignified existence? Don’t they possess the same fundamental rights that the
rest of us do? And if not, then what is
there about the unborn that makes their lives less valuable than the lives of
those already born into the world? Why
are they not entitled to the same fundamental rights that the rest of us are?
Now, if I am
somehow wrong about my assessment of Melania and if she does happen to be more
compassionate, more empathetic, and self-sacrificing at heart than what some of
her statements make her out to be, and if there are people who, in spite of
their support for abortion rights, who do happen to have regard for their
fellowman, then there is a disconnect and an inward contradiction within her
and within them that needs to be addressed and corrected which can only be done
by way of a genuine spiritual transformation within her and within them because
Melania, like the rest of us, was born inherently and inwardly corrupt and
therefore is a sinner in need of redemption just like the rest of us and just
because she calls herself a woman of faith, that does not necessarily mean she
is born again and her stances on certain issues tells me that she is NOT a born
again Christian, but is still just as unconverted, unsaved, unregenerated, and
every bit as lost and in danger of entering into an eternity of unrelenting
torment as anyone on the left and unless she takes some time to examine herself
before God, turn from her errant ways, and cry out to Christ Jesus for the
forgiveness of sins, she will sadly be among the many who will cry out to Him,
“Lord, Lord,” but instead will be told by Him “I never knew you: depart from
me, ye that work iniquity.” (Mt. 7:23)
You cannot hope to
inherit the Kingdom of God when you are knowingly and willfully doing,
supporting, and even enabling things that are displeasing in the eyes of God
for if we really know Christ, then we are not going to want to do, support, or
enable the things that are evil in His eyes but rather, we should want to
minimize evil in our own lives and in the world as much as we possibly can
while maximizing righteousness.
A day is coming
when the evil of this world is going to reach a full measure and when it does,
judgment will inevitably come and not because the God who made all things
desires to punish, but because there is no other remedy and presently, He is
calling out to everyone to repent of their evil and to turn to Him and to
embrace a culture of life and not death, but when man becomes too hardened
against the love, grace, and mercy of the God of life and takes pleasure in the
things that bring death instead of the things that bring life, and in the
things of sin instead of the things of righteousness, and in evil instead of
the things that are good, then He will have no choice but to bring judgment and
in that day, all that is evil in His sight will be eliminated from the earth
but that is also going to require the elimination of everyone who unrepentantly
remains in their sins because the sin and the evil that presently abound in
this world are not fit to be in the new and better world to come but must be
done away with because the new and better world to come will be as what God
intended the world to be when He had first created it and when God made the
world, it had once been a world in which there was no sin, no death, no decay,
no misery, no suffering, no sorrow, nor grief of any sort but only peace, joy,
happiness, contentment, a perfect unity between God and man, and a perfect
harmony between God, man, and nature.
But that harmony
was disrupted when the first man Adam and the first woman Eve who was Adam’s
wife ate a fruit from a tree called the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil. They had been warned that in the
day that they ate that fruit that they would surely die (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3) and
it was in that day that as a result of that first act of disobedience, that sin
entered into them and when sin entered into them, then so did death (Gen. 3:19)
for it is by sin that death receives its power, but sin and death were not
confined to just Adam and Eve, from whom all of mankind descend, but was passed
down to all of us, because we all descend from them, (Rom. 5:12) for sin is not
merely confined to an outward act or even wrongly and evil spoken words, it
begins from within because it is an inward corruption that influences not only
speech and actions, but also defiles our thoughts, darkens our hearts, corrupts
our motives, and poisons our attitudes and because sin is the corrupted
condition of our inward human nature that produces within us things that are
contrary to what God created us to be and because of this corrupted condition,
we all sin and as a consequence, we all die (Rom. 6:23) just as Adam and Eve
did but the consequences of sin have not been kept confined to just man alone,
but have, by way of a curse, been extended to all of creation which is why the
creation groans and travails in pain to this day (Rom. 8:19-22) which is why
the earth is filled with famines, sickness, disease, death, decay, misery, evil,
suffering, hardship, cataclysms, grief, pain, and sorrow of every sort and
severity but worst of all, our sin has made us to be estranged from our Creator
for that which is sinless and incorruptible cannot join itself to that which is
filled with corruption and sin and when we take time to examine ourselves
before the Lord God Almighty and not just our acts and even the words we speak,
but also every thought, motive, and attitude of our hearts, it is only then we
begin to understand how we all fall short of the glory of God which (Rom. 3:23)
which is moral perfection and why we are all in need of redemption which God
has provided for in Christ Jesus, the only begotten Son of God (Jn. 3:16) in
whom there was and is no sin (2 Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15) and after having offered
Himself up as that needed perfect and unblemished sacrifice, (Heb. 7:26-27) He
rose from the grave so that we may be made justified in Him by our faith in Him
for the forgiveness of sins and the salvation of our souls (Rom. 4:25) from
what would otherwise be an unimaginably agonizing terrifying, fearful, judgment
and punishment filled with an unrelenting torment from which there is no relief
day or night for that is what must be done with all sin and with those who
remain in their sins, but those who call upon the name of Christ for the
forgiveness of sins are saved from that judgment (Rom. 10:13) and are assured a
place in Heaven and in the new and better world to come and with the
forgiveness of sins comes the inward transformation of our souls (2 Cor. 5:17)
and reconciliation to God from whom our sins had once separated us (2 Cor.
5:18) and it is that transformation that causes us to no longer desire to
follow after selfish and worldly pursuits but after those things that pertain
to the Kingdom of Heaven,
to no longer take
pleasure in those things that are evil and displeasing in the sight of the
Lord, but in that which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
to no longer
desire to walk in the lies of this present world, but only in the truth that
comes from Christ Almighty, (Jn. 14:6) no longer placing our hopes in the
things of this present world, but looking forward to that new and better world
to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to no longer rely
on worldly resources, men, or even our own power, abilities, skills, and wisdom
for our needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet all of our needs,
recognizing that the resources of this world and even the people He brings into
our lives are but instruments and vessels through which God meets our needs and
that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which we might acquire our
provision are provided and instilled in us by God, (Mt. 6:25-33)
to no longer fear
what men can do to us, but rather fearing the God before whom we will have to
one day give an account for how we lived our lives, (Mt. 10:28)
to no longer look
to corruptible institutions within our society for direction and order in our
lives but to God who, by His written Word has given us laws and precepts to be
applied to our lives and which serve to produce and maintain an ordered life,
and who, by His Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon repentance,
establishes in our lives a course and direction in our lives to pursue for His
glory,
to no longer seek
our own glory but the glory of God,
to no longer rally
behind corruptible men, but instead behind the incorruptible God in Heaven
bearing in mind that those men and women God raises up for our edification are
but instruments and servants of His for that respective purpose to which He has
called them,
to no longer seek
to align ourselves with the things of darkness but only with the things of the
light,
to no longer trust
in the wisdom of the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge that comes from
above, nor depend on corruptible earthly authorities to swiftly administer
justice, but only in the power of God to deliver us from evil.
And just as our
souls are made clean from sin, so one day also will we be liberated from bodily
death when our bodies are transformed from that which is corruptible into that
which is incorruptible (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) for in that which is
incorruptible dwells no sin and where no sin is, death is not. And finally, creation itself will be
delivered from the curse that came upon it because of sin when it is made anew
into a creation in which there is no sin, no death, no curse, no decay, no evil,
no pain, no grief, no misery, no sorrow, no hardship, nor any suffering of any
kind but only peace, joy, harmony, and happiness before the Lord God Almighty.
(Rev. 21-22)
If you wish to be
a part of a culture of life and not of a culture of death, it must begin within
yourself by allowing God to transform you from a vessel of sin and death into a
vessel and instrument of life because the Kingdom of God is filled only with
life in which death and the things thereof will have no part and no presence,
and in order to receive assurance that you will be part of such a Kingdom and
not condemned to an eternity of torment is but a sincere faith-filled prayer of
repentance away:
"Lord Jesus I
need you.
I realize that I
am a sinner
who has fallen
short of the glory of God
and that my
goodness falls short
of your standard
of Moral perfection.
Please forgive me
of all of my sins.
Come into my heart
and into my life
to be the Savior
and Lord of my life.
Make me into the
servant and follower
that you want me
to be.
In your name Lord
Jesus, I pray.
Amen."
Know that God is
not concerned with the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but
with the attitude of your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked
Christ to forgive you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your
salvation and in nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in
Heaven is certain.
