If You Believe That Trump Is A Godsend…
I do not know about the rest of you
out there, but it would not seem that Trump was delivered from multiple
attempts on his life and the lawfare waged against him, was made to withstand
all of the lies and slander hurled against him, and elected again as President
only to have him fail, but if indeed, as many believe and as it would appear,
that God has called our President to fulfill a specific purpose, then we must
pray for success in that and believe that somehow, that purpose will be
fulfilled and we have to admit, that it was an act of God by His grace and
mercy that we were spared what might have otherwise been a very dark era for
our nation which would have consisted of continued widescale rigged elections,
increased government corruption and oppression, the continued and intensified
persecution of Christians and members of the MAGA movement, more severe
assaults on and deprivation of our civil and Constitutional liberties, ongoing
dependency on foreign energy, an ever increasing debt, massive tax increases
and regulations that would have impoverished millions, amnesty for millions of
illegals who shouldn’t even be here including criminals and terrorists, an
increase in violent crime, the continued deception of our children and students
in academia, the loss of our national sovereignty to globalist powers, and the
high possibility of another world war abroad and even civil war at home which
would have ended in the dissolution of our union but it appears for the moment
that we have been spared all those things and we are now on track to have, at
least to a certain extent, those evils reversed and those dangers actively
addressed in an effective and meaningful fashion.
And if there is any way to repay our
Creator and demonstrate our gratitude for the grace and mercy that He has shown
us, it would be to:
Honor Him in everything we do.
Honor Him in our choice of
relationships.
Honor Him in the entertainment we
produce.
Honor Him in our academics.
Honor Him in how we conduct business
in the private sector.
Honor Him in our politics.
Honor Him in our homes.
And honor Him in how we live our
lives.
And if you don’t know how to do any
of those things, then I urge you reader, to humbly seek out your Creator and He
will show you the way and there is a book out there that you can read that
reveals to us what is in the mind of Go insofar as what we need to know in
terms of our beginnings, His character, His nature, how He is to be approached,
what He expects of us, and desires for us, and the future of mankind, and the
book of which I speak is called the Bible which claims divine inspiration. (2
Tim. 3:16)
When we are spared from evil and
delivered from those who would do us harm and even destroy us, it is not
because we are such a good people, but it is only because God is gracious and
merciful and who is not willing that any should perish but that all might come
to repentance and make Him their God and their God alone, having no others
before Him.
But we as a people and nation have
placed other gods before Him, have placed our faith in things that are not God
and not even of Him, have cast Him out of our public education and activities,
have blasphemed and made a mockery out of Him, rejected His moral values, and
have gone from embracing a culture of life and purity to embracing a culture of
death and depravity.
We abort babies when they are deemed
to be inconvenient rather than just give them up for adoption.
We have made a mockery out of the
divine and sacred institution of marriage in normalizing LGBT behavior.
Our academic institutions have
poisoned the minds of students against anything having to do with God.
Mike Huckabee explains even further:
…people sue a city so that we aren't
confronted with a manger scene or Christmas carol,
and lawsuits are filed to remove a
cross that's a memorial to fallen soldiers.
Churches and Christian owned
businesses are told to surrender their values
under the edict of government orders
to provide tax funded abortion pills.
We carefully and intentionally stop
saying things are sinful and we call them disorders;
sometimes, we even say they're
normal, and to get to where we
have to abandon bedrock moral truths.
[1]
And we then wonder why our government
has become increasingly unreliable, untrustworthy, corrupt, evil, and even
oppressive. We wonder why our media is
so dishonest, why our entertainment is so depraved, and why our private sector
is consumed with greed and our corporations cheat and defraud their consumers
and exploit their employees, and why the integrity of our electoral system
cannot be trusted.
Even Donald Trump himself stated:
I think our country’s missing a lot
of religion. I think it really was a much better place with religion. It was
almost a guide. To a certain extent it was a guide. You want to be good to
people. Without religion there are no guardrails. I’d love to see us get back
to religion, more religion in this country. [2]
People would say that we were a
Christian, religious, and even other faiths country and that seems to be
heading in the wrong direction and as that goes down I think that our country
goes down…I really think this country needs religion, it’s like the glue that
holds it together. [3]
Now, I look forward to the promised
changes for the better that Trump claims he will bring to our nation and I hope
and pray that he will do his best to follow through in fulfilling the platform
on which he ran and that he will be surrounded with a trustworthy
administration and with advisors who will give him sound truthful counsel, but
if we do not make ourselves right before the God who has extended this season
of grace to us, then the political gains that we have made are going to be
short-lived but if we want them to endure, then we must in all sincerity turn
back to the God upon whose principles this nation was built and founded and
submit ourselves to the laws, standards, and precepts that He has set before us
for our governance and by which our lives are ordered because if we would do
so, then we might discover that we find ourselves in no need of any other laws
and what God requires of us is far less than what is required of us by any
earthly government or any doctrines and traditions of men which is why He calls
us to take upon ourselves His yoke and not that of any other because His yoke
is light (Mt. 11:29-30) and I myself have found it to be easier to bear than
any other. How much liberty might we
experience if we would but submit to nothing more than those good and perfect
laws that come from God Almighty for I would rather that than to become a slave
and property of the state.
When we read the opening statements
of our own Declaration of Independence, it should be made abundantly clear to
the reader thereof that the signers of that Declaration did not believe their
liberties and rights to come from man, but that their rights and liberties came
from God [4] because they believed in a God who
is not only the source of the freedoms and liberties we enjoy and which our
Constitution was designed to protect, but also the sole decider of what is
right and what is wrong and what makes God the supreme moral lawgiver and the
decider of what is right and wrong and what God deems to be evil in His sight
is anything that goes against what He originally intended when He first made
the world and when we understand what kind of world that God had first created,
it is only then we begin to understand why it is He sets in place certain
boundaries and demands of us to not violate those specific boundaries for the
laws and standards that He has set in place and commands for us to abide in are
not for our hurt or to bring misery upon us but to protect us from needless
suffering and misery for the laws He has set forth were not for the world He
had initially created, but rather they were made for the world as it presently
is because the world as it presently is not the world that God had initially
created for when God made the world, He created it to be a world of life,
peace, happiness, and contentment and in which was enjoyed a perfect harmony
between God, man, and nature. It was not
a world filled with evil, death, turmoil, destruction, suffering, grief,
sorrow, and misery as we witness and experience presently, and so what change
the world the world from the perfect world that God had made into the
corrupted, death-filled world in evil and suffering of various sorts, degrees,
and severities abound, you might ask?
That change from the best that there was to an increasingly evil and
darkened state began with the first man Adam and the first woman Eve, Adam’s
wife whom God had created and from whom we all descend.
Man was given a perfect world in
which to live and nothing was withheld from Him except for one thing and that
was a certain fruit from a tree called the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil, having been warned that in the day that they ate thereof, they would
surely die (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3) but they did not heed the warning that was given
to them and disobeyed that one prohibition and when they had eaten of that
fruit, a corruption called sin entered into them inwardly corrupting them
changing them from being that which was inherently good into that which was
inherently evil and as a consequence, the sentence of death that was warned of
man came upon him (Gen. 3:19) but the sentence of death did not stop with just
Adam and Eve as the sin that entered into them was also passed down to all of
mankind for all of us are descendants of that first man and that first woman
and because we are their descendants, we have also inherited the sin that
entered into them (Rom. 5:12) and because of that sin which we have inherited,
we all sin in some form or fashion and as a consequence we all die for as it is
written, the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23) but sin is not merely confined
to outward behavior or performance or even the words we speak, but it is rather
the inherent inward corruption of our very nature defiling our thoughts,
hardening and darkening our hearts, and corrupting our very motives which is
why it is written that we are not defiled from that which comes from without,
but that which comes from within (Mt. 15:11, 18-20) and which is why it is
written that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23)
which demands of us nothing less than moral perfection and not just in our
outward acts but also in our inward as well which is why it is impossible by
our own efforts and our own goodness to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, for
sin taints, corrupts, defiles, twists, and distorts more than we can comprehend
and the effects of sin are not merely confined to mankind, but all of creation
is subjected to a curse because of sin which is why it is written that the
entire creation groans and travails in pain to this day. (Rom. 8:19-22)
What led Adam and Eve to eat of that
forbidden fruit was that they, by a lying and deceptive spirit who came to them
in the form of a serpent, were made believe that if they had eaten of that
forbidden fruit, promising them greater enlightenment than what they already
had and an elevation to a higher status than the one in which they were already
created (Gen. 3:4-5) but instead of the enlightenment they were promised, they
enlightened to their shame (Gen. 3:7) and instead of being elevated to a higher
status, they were reduced to an inferior status that was corrupted by sin by
which death came into the world and not just to them but to all of humanity and
from that point, all of creation itself became affected by the presence and
touch of sin and that lying spirit who caused Adam and his wife Eve to eat of
that forbidden fruit which inwardly corrupted humanity and changed the world
from the once perfect place that God had made it to be into the fallen
sin-cursed world that it is today in which death reigns and all kinds of evil
and suffering abound and this spirit responsible for leading man into the
bondage and tyranny of sin and death and for bringing upon the creation a slow
destruction had once served as a covering cherub at the throne of God before he
was lifted up in his own pride against his Creator and thought to claim for
himself that which belonged to God alone and as a consequence, he and all who
followed him, were cast from their positions in Heaven. (Is. 14:11-21, Ezek.
28:12-19)
That very spirit who thought to make
himself equal with God and then by way of that fateful transgression of Adam
and Eve brought sin, death, evil, and suffering into the world was an angel
called Lucifer who is better known as Satan or the Devil who has been since
even before the creation of the world at enmity with God and has been the
adversary of the souls of men and not only did the disobedience of Adam cause
sin to enter into mankind and death to come into the world by way of sin, but
it also gave Satan justification to claim lordship over the kingdoms and
nations of the world (Mt. 4:8-9, Lk. 4:6-7) thereby diminishing the dominion that
God had given to man (Gen. 1:26) and it was all brought forth by a lie and it
was the very lie that falsely assured Adam and Eve that they would not die from
eating the fruit forbidden them as they were warned of God but that they would
be granted wisdom and knowledge that they did not have and that they would even
become divine and it was believing that lie which led them right into a bondage
and oppression that they never could have imagined: the bondage of sin and the
tyranny of death and not only them but all of mankind as well since the sin
that entered into Adam and Eve was passed down to all who are born into this
world and it was also this same lie that subjugated all of creation to the
effects of sin, and by which Satan was able, to a certain extent, steal
dominion from mankind which is why he is called the father of lies and a murder
(Jn. 8:44) and the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (Jn. 10:10) but
there is coming a day when evil will be done away and the spirit who ruined
this world with that evil will also be cast out of it (Jn. 12:31) but the doing
away with evil will also require eliminating all sin from the world as well and
that is going to require the elimination of all people who remain in their sins
and the worst part about sin is that it estranges and separates man from His
Creator because God cannot have any unity with sin and He cannot allow any
place for it in His Kingdom or in the better world to come lest His Kingdom and
that better world to come were to be tainted and defiled just as this present
world is which is why God demands more from us than just a mere change in how
we live and our behavior. He demands
something from us that we cannot do ourselves but what He can and will do for
us if we will only allow Him to and that is an inward transformation of our
hearts, minds, and souls, for if we are to be made free from anything else, we
have to first be made free from our inwardly corrupt condition beginning with
the redemption of our souls so that we may escape the judgment that is to come
upon the face of the earth and so that we need not worry about what will happen
after this present life has expired, but can be assured of our admittance into
the Kingdom of Heaven and if God holds back and delays judgment, it is because
He takes no pleasure in punishment or destruction, but would rather have us
turn from our evil ways because the Lord God who made us is a God of love and
mercy and would rather demonstrate and love and mercy towards us than wrath and
punishment which is why that He is not willing that any should perish and be
eternally separated from Him but that all should come to repentance (2 Pet.
3:9) and that is where our fight against the darkness begins. It first begins with turning away from and
fighting the darkness from within ourselves and that is the first thing that
God wants to liberate us from and He offers that liberation through the
forgiveness of sins that He offers through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior
whom He sent to take away the sins of the world and Jesus in whom there is no
sin (2 Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15) purchased our redemption on the behalf of sinful
man through His death upon the cross on which He was crucified and after having
shed His blood was raised again from the dead that we by faith in him, may be
justified in Him (Rom. 4:25) so that any of us who call upon His name for the
forgiveness of sins (Rom. 10:13) will not perish in eternal damnation, but be
saved from condemnation and be admitted into Heaven on the merit of Christ
alone by the grace of God and our faith in Him and when we in all sincerity and
faith call upon the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins, with the
cleansing of the soul comes a change within us; a new nature (2 Cor. 5:17) that
enters into us when we receive the forgiveness of sins and a nature that causes
us to no longer desire to follow after selfish and worldly pursuits but after
those things that pertain to the Kingdom of Heaven,
to no longer take pleasure in those
things that are evil and displeasing in the sight of the Lord, but in that
which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
to no longer desire to walk in the
lies of this present world, but only in the truth that comes from Christ
Almighty, (Jn. 14:6) no longer placing our hopes in the things of this present
world, but looking forward to that new and better world to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to no longer rely on worldly
resources, men, or even our own power, abilities, skills, and wisdom for our
needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet all of our needs (Mt.
6:25-33) recognizing that the resources of this world and even the people He
brings into our lives are but instruments and vessels through which God meets
our needs and that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which we might
acquire our provision are provided and instilled in us by God,
to no longer fear what men can do to
us, but rather fearing the God before whom we will have to one day give an
account for how we lived our lives, (Mt. 10:28)
to no longer look to corruptible
institutions within our society for direction and order in our lives but to God
who, by His written Word has given us laws and precepts to be applied to our
lives and which serve to produce and maintain an ordered life, and who, by His
Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon repentance, establishes in our
lives a course and direction in our lives to pursue for His glory,
to no longer seek our own glory but
the glory of God,
to no longer rally behind corruptible
men, but instead behind the incorruptible God in Heaven bearing in mind that those
men and women God raises up for our edification are but instruments and
servants of His for that respective purpose to which He has called them,
to no longer seek to align ourselves
with the things of darkness but only with the things of the light,
to no longer trust in the wisdom of
the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge that comes from above, nor
depend on corruptible earthly authorities to swiftly administer justice, but
only in the power of God to deliver us from evil.
And it is this new inward
transformation that reconciles us to our Creator (2 Cor. 5:18) from whom we had
once been estranged and just as our souls are cleansed from sin and our spirits
regenerated in Christ Jesus thereby liberating us from the eternal tormenting
punishment that must come upon all who remain in their sins, so one day we look
forward to the liberation of our bodies from death itself when our mortal and
corruptible forms are transformed into that which is immortal and incorruptible
and from that which is imperfect to that which is perfect (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1
Thess. 4:13-18) and lastly, creation itself will be delivered from the curse
placed upon it because of sin when it is made into a new and better world (Rev.
21-22) and liberated from the hand of our adversary Satan, who presently claims
dominion, when he is given his final sentence and cast into an everlasting
tormenting fire prepared for him and his followers (Mt. 25:41, Rev. 20:10-15)
and in that new world which will be made, there will be no sin, no death, no
decay, nor any curse, nor any evil, or violence, suffering, misery, grief,
sorrow, mourning, pain, or hardship of any sort for all of these will pass away
with this present world. Instead, there
will only be light, life, happiness, joy, contentment, peace, and rest before
the Lord God Almighty which is that perfect liberty to which we must look and
place our hope in because it will be an everlasting liberty never to be stolen
from us again like it had been stolen from us in the garden where that first
act of disobedience took place which had cost man that perfect liberty for by
subtlety and deceit did that wicked and fallen angel Satan who is the source of
tyranny and oppression beguile mankind out of his perfect liberty through
granting the illusion of a greater freedom, a counterfeit freedom which only
estranged man from God, subjected him to a corrupted nature, sentenced him to
death, placed him under the threat of eternal damnation, brought the entire
creation under a curse, and empowered the source of all tyranny, darkness,
oppression, evil, suffering, hardship, pain, grief, sorrow, and misery of every
sort to claim lordship over all the nations, kingdoms, and empires, tribes,
kindreds, and tongues and there is not a place in the world this day, that has
not been influenced or infiltrated in some in some way by this evil spirit who
is lord over all tyrannical powers but if you want to deliver a blow to his
power, it begins with your own life and it begins with repentance and calling
upon the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins because every soul who calls
upon the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins and dedicates themselves to
His service and each person that does so brings a little more light to a dark
world and if you have not already done so, I urge you reader to repent of your
sins and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus who is able to wash away our sins
from our very souls and it is but a simple prayer of repentance away:
What do you reader choose? If you
have not done so already and choose redemption, love, mercy, and forgiveness
and salvation, and to be on the side of life, light, liberty, and all that is
good and right, that I would urge you to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus
for the forgiveness of sins so that you may be made a member of His everlasting
empire of liberty and a perfect liberty at that and also a citizen of the
Heavenly Kingdom which will be joined to that that new and better world that is
to come. It is but a sincere prayer of
repentance away:
"Lord Jesus I need you.
I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of
God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.
Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.
Amen."
Know that God is not concerned with
the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of your
heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive you of
your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in nothing
else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
