I Never Knew What GEOTUS Stood For Until Very Recently
On one social media platform that I
happen to be active one I would find users frequently calling Donald Trump the
GEOTUS and for the longest time, I never knew what that stood for until very
recently and what I found it to stand for was a status that elevates Trump far
higher than he should be and makes him out to be something that he is not, but
before I continue readers, please make no mistake. I love our President and am grateful for all
the good that he did do in his first term and I am looking forward to what he
is set to accomplish in his second term and I thank God for mercifully placing
Trump back in his rightful place as our President but something DOES need to be
made clear which now brings me to what I found that GEOTUS stands for.
It stands for GOD EMPEROR OF THE
UNITED STATES
First off, President Trump is not a
god. He is only a man. And in as much as
he has earned our trust and support, Trump, for all his resourcefulness, his
ability to inspire, his great leadership and strategy skills, and common sense
approach to the issues of the day, Trump, like the rest of us, is still a
figure of limited power and attributes, and like everyone else, is a man of a
flawed nature and just as he did not get everything that we had hoped
accomplished during his first term in office, and just as he did not always do
everything we thought he should have done or appointed to his administration
everyone we thought that he should have appointed so again, he will not
accomplish everything that we will like to see done this time around and not
necessarily because he doesn’t want to but because he is going to face heavy
resistance the second time around just as he did the first time around because
the Devil State consisting of both the anti-Christ party and their RINO allies
in every branch of our government and at every level are going to oppose him at
every turn that they can and not only that, we could be faced with
unprecedented events and crises against which Trump, even with the best people
around him and even with the best form of government that we could possibly
have, and even with the greatest amount of resources at our disposal, may find
himself powerless and with no immediate response or answer which is why it is
very dangerous for anyone to place all of their hopes in a man or a figure who
could disgrace themselves in some form or fashion, or (and God forbid) be
suddenly taken from us, or find themselves faced with an adversity or crisis
against which they have no power.
President Trump is but an instrument
and a vessel of a power far greater than any man could ever hope to be and it
is to that power to which we must always place our faith, hope, and trust in
and it is that very power that alone is worthy of our worship and full devotion
because it is to that power to which we owe our existence and by which we are
all sustained and that power that has raised up for us Trump in a most critical
time in our nation’s history is also that same power that can also take down what
has been raised up as well although I pray that it need not ever be so with our
newly elected, or should I say, our newly re-elected President. I pray that his second term will be blessed
with success and that after his time as our President has expired, that he will
go on to live out the rest of his days in peace and that the power that raised
up Trump at a most critical time in our history will in His grace and mercy,
continue to raise up leaders after him who will be dedicated in preserving and
building upon the work that has begun in President Trump and who will strive to
take our nation to brighter days and make the destiny of its people brighter
and not darker.
It also needs to be noted that Trump
is not an emperor. He is an elected
official selected by the people to both lead and represent our nation whose
appointment is but a temporary one and not one that is for life whereas an
emperor’s appointment is for as long as he shall live, and furthermore,
President Trump is not interested in creating an empire, but only interested in
restoring peace, liberty, and prosperity to the nation.
Now, Donald Trump deserves a lot of
credit in his success in bringing about a political and patriotic revival
through the MAGA movement but in order for the MAGA movement that we have so
loved to survive and continue on even beyond Trump, that political and
patriotic revival has to rest on a foundation that is not Trump even though
Trump has been at its helm since the day one of the movement as we know it to
be but rather the foundation upon which the movement itself must rest is a
foundation that cannot be pulled out from underneath us and one that is
incorruptible, never changes, and is eternal and it is a foundation that is not
found in any man nor in any institution or organization but is a foundation by
which all things are upheld and sustained and one that is unmovable and
unshakable and it is that foundation upon which all truth rests and from which
comes forth a truth by which all men are set free (Jn. 8:32) for it is not just
a foundation upon which the truth that sets free rests but is also the source
of it as it is also the source of all life and everything that pertains to this
present life and from which comes all beneficial instruction and counsel, and
every good law and standard, and every profitable precept by which order is
brought to our lives and it is a foundation that both serves as the beginning
and the end of all things (Rev. 1:11, 22:7) and this foundation is not that
which is made with our hands nor seen with our eyes though one day our eyes
will see it, but it is a foundation that has existed long before this world was
ever created and is in fact the Maker of all things and this foundation cannot
be described as nothing more than that which is spiritual and this spiritual
foundation cannot be described in any other sense except that it is the God by
whom all things are made and by whom all thing consist and who is the source of
all truth and who determines and defines what is good and what is evil, right
and wrong and it is to this God to whom even our founders looked and relied
upon for the establishment of this nation as is made evident in the opening
statements of our own Declaration of Independence. [1]
Even Trump himself had stated that he
himself is not the savior of the nation but that the Savior to which we must
look is much higher than himself [2] and the religion that he says that we need to turn to in our nation [3-4] is not a religion at which he is at the
center, but a religion at which the Lord God Almighty who made Heaven and earth
is at the center and is what we worship and devote ourselves to and to his
credit, he at least understands something and is bold enough and honest enough
to admit something that many of us either are blind to or refuse to face and
that is that all of the problems that we are witnessing and experiencing are
not academic, informational, economic, political, or even social but rather
they are the manifestations of a much greater unseen problem which is spiritual
and to which there can only be a spiritual solution and in as often as we
address the academic, economic, social, and political problems, we must just as
often address the spiritual condition from which they arise and it is a
spiritual condition that affects everyone and ultimately, for better or worse,
affects the course of a nation and if it is not actively faced and addressed,
then any political victories we gain will be short lived and the MAGA movement
will eventually evaporate if it is not placed on an unfailing and unmovable
foundation whether or not the movement addresses the spiritual and moral crisis
that we are facing in our nation and whether or not the movement as a whole is
willing to embrace the solution to that crisis will determine whether the MAGA
movement continues on for just another four to eight years or whether or not it
continues on for generations to come and I would like to see it continue on for
generations to come and to be a shining light to all until the end of this
present age, but we need a secure unfailing foundation to fall back on and on
which to stand and that is a spiritual foundation.
Many have already become and are beginning
to become disillusioned with the left and even with globalism in our
nation. Tens of millions of people know
that what they are hearing from the mainstream manure pile is a lie and can’t
be trusted. They know that most of
academia is deceiving and poisoning the minds of our youth and our
students. They know that there are
things going on in the world that ought not be.
They even reject certain depravities.
They also know that governing powers are subject to corruption and not
only the government, but any given institution private or civic but what must
also be understood is that the institutions that we have trusted to direct the
course of our society are no more or less corrupt than the people who run
them. Corrupt institutions are
established by corrupt people and those institutions that may have been at one
time in their history honorable and respectable but are now corrupted and
removed from the original intent and purpose for which they were established
did not all of sudden become corrupt.
They became corrupted by corrupt people who entered into them and took
them over and this corruption runs much deeper than just ill spoken words, evil
actions, and bad behavior. This is a
corruption that comes from within and resides within even the best of people
and it is an inherent corruption that we are all born with that was never meant
to be but it is one that we all must deal with in our own lives so that we can
be the best that we can be in every aspect of life and so that we can fulfill
each respective purpose and calling that has been placed within our hearts but
the inherent corruption that has to be dealt within each and every one of us is
a corruption that had entered into our first ancestors; our ancestors being one
man called Adam and one woman called Eve who was Adam’s wife but before that
corruption entered into them, the world in which we live was a much different
place than it is today; it was an astronomically better world in which there
was no death, no evil, and no suffering but filled with only life, joy, peace,
and a perfect harmony between God, man, and nature but there was just one thing
that was withheld from man and that was a fruit from a certain tree called the
tree of the knowledge of good and evil having been warned that in the day that
they ate of that forbidden fruit, they would surely die (Gen. 2:16-17, 3:3) but
sadly, they did not heed that warning but disobeyed that prohibition and ate of
that forbidden fruit and when that happened that inherent corruption that we
are all born with entered into them and it is what we call sin and when sin
entered into them, then so did death (Gen. 3:19) for it is by sin that death
receives its power, but sin and death were not confined to just Adam and Eve,
from whom all of mankind descend, but was passed down to all of us, because we
all descend from them, (Rom. 5:12) for sin is not merely confined to an outward
act or even wrongly and evil spoken words, it begins from within because it is
an inward corruption that influences not only speech and actions, but also
defiles our thoughts, darkens our hearts, corrupts our motives, and poisons our
attitudes and because sin is the corrupted condition of our inward human nature
that produces within us things that are contrary to what God created us to be
and because of this corrupted condition, we all sin and as a consequence, we
all die (Rom. 6:23) just as Adam and Eve did but the consequences of sin have
not been kept confined to just man alone, but have, by way of a curse, been
extended to all of creation which is why the creation groans and travails in
pain to this day (Rom. 8:19-22) which is why the earth is filled with famines,
sickness, disease, death, decay, misery, evil, suffering, hardship, cataclysms,
grief, pain, and sorrow of every sort and severity but worst of all, our sin
has made us to be estranged from our Creator for that which is sinless and
incorruptible cannot join itself to that which is filled with corruption and
sin and when we take time to examine ourselves before the Lord God Almighty and
not just our acts and even the words we speak, but also every thought, motive,
and attitude of our hearts, it is only then we begin to understand how we all
fall short of the glory of God which (Rom. 3:23) which is moral perfection and
why we are all in need of redemption which God has provided for in Christ
Jesus, the only begotten Son of God (Jn. 3:16) in whom there was and is no sin
(2 Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15) and after having offered Himself up as that needed
perfect and unblemished sacrifice, (Heb. 7:26-27) He rose from the grave so
that we may be made justified in Him by our faith in Him for the forgiveness of
sins and the salvation of our souls (Rom. 4:25) from what would otherwise be an
unimaginably agonizing terrifying, fearful, judgment and punishment filled with
an unrelenting torment from which there is no relief day or night for that is
what must be done with all sin and with those who remain in their sins, but
those who call upon the name of Christ for the forgiveness of sins are saved
from that judgment (Rom. 10:13) and are assured a place in Heaven and in the
new and better world to come and with the forgiveness of sins comes the inward
transformation of our souls (2 Cor. 5:17) and reconciliation to God from whom
our sins had once separated us (2 Cor. 5:18) and it is that transformation that
causes us to no longer desire to follow after selfish and worldly pursuits but
after those things that pertain to the Kingdom of Heaven,
to no longer take pleasure in those
things that are evil and displeasing in the sight of the Lord, but in that
which is good, right, and pleasing in His sight,
to no longer desire to walk in the
lies of this present world, but only in the truth that comes from Christ
Almighty, (Jn. 14:6) no longer placing our hopes in the things of this present
world, but looking forward to that new and better world to come, (Rev. 21-22)
to no longer rely on worldly
resources, men, or even our own power, abilities, skills, and wisdom for our
needs and provision but upon God who is able to meet all of our needs,
recognizing that the resources of this world and even the people He brings into
our lives are but instruments and vessels through which God meets our needs and
that the skills, power, knowledge, and wisdom by which we might acquire our
provision are provided and instilled in us by God, (Mt. 6:25-33)
to no longer fear what men can do to
us, but rather fearing the God before whom we will have to one day give an
account for how we lived our lives, (Mt. 10:28)
to no longer look to corruptible
institutions within our society for direction and order in our lives but to God
who, by His written Word has given us laws and precepts to be applied to our
lives and which serve to produce and maintain an ordered life, and who, by His
Holy Spirit which comes to dwell within us upon repentance, establishes in our
lives a course and direction in our lives to pursue for His glory,
to no longer seek our own glory but
the glory of God,
to no longer rally behind corruptible
men, but instead behind the incorruptible God in Heaven bearing in mind that
those men and women God raises up for our edification are but instruments and
servants of His for that respective purpose to which He has called them,
to no longer seek to align ourselves
with the things of darkness but only with the things of the light,
to no longer trust in the wisdom of
the world but only on the wisdom and knowledge that comes from above, nor
depend on corruptible earthly authorities to swiftly administer justice, but
only in the power of God to deliver us from evil.
And just as our souls are made clean
from sin, so one day also will we be liberated from bodily death when our
bodies are transformed from that which is corruptible into that which is
incorruptible (1 Cor. 15:51-55, 1 Thess. 4:13-18) for in that which is
incorruptible dwells no sin and where no sin is, death is not. And finally, creation itself will be
delivered from the curse that came upon it because of sin when it is made anew
into a creation in which there is no sin, no death, no curse, no decay, no evil,
no pain, no grief, no misery, no sorrow, no hardship, nor any suffering of any
kind but only peace, joy, harmony, and happiness before the Lord God Almighty.
(Rev. 21-22)
If you want to make your nation great
and keep it great, that begins with a spiritual greatness from which economic,
academic, social, and even political greatness will eventually be produced but
it begins when we turn away from our own darkness and our own sin and call upon
the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins that we might be transformed into
vessels and instruments of greatness and honor and it is but a simple sincere prayer
of repentance away:
"Lord Jesus I need you.
I realize that I am a sinner
who has fallen short of the glory of
God
and that my goodness falls short
of your standard of Moral perfection.
Please forgive me of all of my sins.
Come into my heart and into my life
to be the Savior and Lord of my life.
Make me into the servant and follower
that you want me to be.
In your name Lord Jesus, I pray.
Amen."
Know that God is not concerned with
the words that you use to call upon Him forgiveness, but with the attitude of
your heart and if you have, with all sincerity, have asked Christ to forgive
you of your sins, placing your trust in Him only for your salvation and in
nothing else, then your sins are forgiven and your place in Heaven is certain.
