Contender’s Edge, through July 4^th will be sharing each day a prayer, on behalf of our nation, from a representative from each of our fifty states.  The event began on May 15^th and will end July 4^th.

One Prayer From Each State For Our Nation For Fifty Days: Day 12
 
 
Ty Orr, lead Pastor of Watersprings Church in Idaho Falls, Idaho:
 
 
 
“Hi, I’m Pastor Ty Orr from Idaho Falls, Idaho. Let’s pray.
 
Father in Heaven, we love You because You first loved us.
 
Jesus, You prayed to the Father in John 17 that we would be one, as You and the Father are one.
 
And Lord, we pray for unity in our public discourse as a nation, as we find in Ephesians 4:3.
 
We ask that, Lord, there would be a civil conversation about the things that are going on in our country.
 
Father, we ask that we would love You as a people, and that, Lord, as You have commanded us through Your servant John, that we would love one another as You have loved us, and that, Lord, we would love the lost as You have commissioned us, as we would take the Gospel into all of our nation.
 
Lord, we thank You for all that You’re able to do, because You can do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ask or think.
 
In Jesus’ precious Name. Amen. God bless you.”
