One Prayer From Each State For Our Nation For Fifty Days: Day 21

 

Contender’s Edge, through July 4^th will be sharing each day a prayer, on behalf of our nation, from a representative from each of our fifty states.  The event began on May 15^th and will end July 4^th.

One Prayer From Each State For Our Nation For Fifty Days: Day 21
 
 
Marco DeBarros, Pastor of New Life South Coast in New Bedford, Massachusetts:
 
 
 
 
“Hi, my name is Marco DeBarros. I’m a pastor in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and I would like us to pray Psalm 85:6 over our nation. It says, “Won’t You revive us again so Your people can rejoice in You?” So, Father, we come to Your presence to plead with You to revive our nation again.
 
Father, we need You to move in a mighty way. Lord, we come and ask You, Jesus, to bring about another awakening that would sweep through every single state, and it will bring many to the saving knowledge of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
 
Father, I’d like to lift up specifically the youth of our nation. Lord, we pray for a move of Your Holy Spirit to get ahold of their hearts, their minds, and their souls, to bring them to understanding of who You are and Your will and Your purpose for their lives.
 
Lord, revive us, Lord. Lord, do a mighty work right here in the state of Massachusetts. We want to see a youth revival, God. We want to see You permeate the high schools and the colleges in our area, in our city, in our region, in our nation, Lord.
 
Lord Jesus, we stand in Your promises, in Your Word. Won’t You revive us again, so that Your people can rejoice in You?
 
Thank You, Lord. We pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen. God bless you.”
