One Prayer From Each State For Our Nation For Fifty Days: Day 38

 


Contender’s Edge, through July 4^th will be sharing each day a prayer, on behalf of our nation, from a representative from each of our fifty states.  The event began on May 15^th and will end July 4^th.

One Prayer From Each State For Our Nation For Fifty Days: Day 38

 
 
Joe Focht, Pastor of Calvary Chapel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:
 
 
 
“This is Pastor Joe Focht from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, asking that you would pray along with me today for the youth in our nation.
 
Lord Jesus, I know You’ve overheard and You’re listening in as we bow our hearts. So, Lord, we do pray for the young men and young women in this nation, Lord. You see more clearly than we do the things that are happening and we do believe, Lord, You’ve chosen this younger generation for such a time as this, Lord.
 
You called the apostles when they were young, Lord. Young men, Lord, and You wrote, Lord, through Paul to Timothy, not to let any man despise your youth.
 
So, Lord, for the young men and the young women that are finding vision and purpose in You, Lord, we pray that You would give them courage, that You would give them boldness. And, Lord, that we would have a new generation, Lord, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with their own peers, Lord. That we would see a great ingathering again, Lord, another awakening in this nation.
 
Lord, we lift the youth of this country to You. Have them.
 
Lord Jesus, we pray in Your Name and for Your glory. Amen.
 
Thank you for praying along with us. I encourage you to remember to pray for our youth on a regular basis.”
