One Prayer From Each State For Our Nation For Fifty Days: Day 42

 


Contender’s Edge, through July 4^th will be sharing each day a prayer, on behalf of our nation, from a representative from each of our fifty states.  The event began on May 15^th and will end July 4^th.

One Prayer From Each State For Our Nation For Fifty Days: Day 42
 
 
Allen Jackson, Pastor of World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee:
 
 
 
“I’m Pastor Allen Jackson with World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and I want to pray for our law enforcement and first responders. Let’s pray.
 
Heavenly Father, I thank You for our nation, for the liberty and freedom that we have. And I thank You especially for those men and women who run towards trouble that the rest of us might know peace and security. I lift them before You to ask for Your mercy towards them. Send Your angels to stand guard around them, to watch over them.
 
I pray that You will give us leadership that respects and provides the resources necessary for them.
 
Deliver us from the spirit of lawlessness, from the desire to cast off restraint and to become a law unto our own selves. May we once again submit to Your authority—Your authority in our homes, Your authority in our communities, and Your authority over our nation.
 
We bless those who stand watch on our behalf. May they stand in Your strength and stand in Your authority.
 
In Jesus’ Name, amen. May God bless America again.”
